The name suits her well, so I see no reason to change it.
Vine represents the majestic swirls on her legs. They symbolise the beauty that can be found in nature.

She is a stocky cat, larger than your average domestic feline, but smaller than a lynx.
She has the tufted ears of a lynx however; perhaps she is a crossbreed?

I don't normally collect red characters, but there is something about her that really draws me in. She is so very perfect but I couldn't tell you why. I like everything about her, I don't think there is anything I would want to change. I love the shade of her coat and the cleanness of the white. I love how her yellow eyes match her so well. I love swirls, especially the one under the eye. She is perfect.

She would make an excellent companion to my dragon Paladin. He is blue with white swirls, so she would contrast with him brilliantly. They would be the best of friends, and she would share his page on my website. I would try to order art of them together.

History/Background/Other:

Personality
Vine is a happy, mischevious, adventurous cat. She is always full of energy and ready to go, except for when it is nap time. Vine's favourite activities include exploring with her friend Paladin, going on quests, making scrapbooks, paintings and other artistic items, and telling grand tales of her epic adventures. She can get very excited during her storytelling, and sometimes exaggerates a little. Even in the face of danger, Vine is confident and light hearted, using her positive and passionate attitude to confuse and irritate her foes.


Background
Vine was always an energetic cat. As a kitten, she and her playmates used to engage in epic battles, using sticks as swords and rocks and giant boulders to be hurled mercilessly at their enemies. They would dress up in cardboard and cloth armour, and use saucepans, small baskets and whatever else they could upturn for their protective helmets. The local lizards were mighty firebreathing dragons, the flowing rivers were boiling hot lava and the finches that flittered through the trees were majestic gryphons.

As an adult, Vine is the envy of her friends. Her good friend Paladin is a real dragon, and he really does go on adventuring quests. Vine travels with him wherever he goes, and while her help in combat is usually limited to shouting obvious observations and loudly taunting their foes, she is a very helpful travelling companion. While Paladin and Vine both carry packs, Vine takes care of the gathering and sorting of whatever they may need to prepare for their trip, as well as the collection of new items along the way. She also sorts out their meals, and provides Paladin with valuable advice on their quests.

While Paladin is capable of questing himself, he lets Vine decide on what to do next and take care of the preparation and the little things as he knows she loves to feel useful. Also, she is very good at it, and he appreciates her aid. When they return, he also lets her take care of the story telling when they return from their quests.
