I came to see if #29 was out yet and was shocked to find Dune there!! I tryed for him the first time he was released, maybe I can win him this time!!

Reason why you want it:
When I see this Tracker I think of a future military operation and so I think that it would be a pretty good story for her. I love warfare creatures and anything that could be a factor in a futuristic war like Halo or any other of those types of video games.
I also love how this Tracker's powers are well thought out and, even though it is virtually impossible to create her in reality, she is quite realistic.

Describe its personality:

Luitenant Koll, how can I even begin to describe her? She started out as an accident, an experiment. In the end, she turned out to be the best damn experiment this planet has ever seen.
When I was first told to look after her when she was a young pup I thought she'd only be a burden, an unteachable little leech clinging onto me. But boy was I wrong and I apologize to the late Luitenant that I had thought that about her.
She was like my child, my baby and I am so sorry, Kudos. So sorry that I wasn't as good a father to you as I wish I had been.
Brave, loyal, trustworthy
There wasn't a braver soul on the whole planet than Kudos. She fought to the death for her friends and planet, even though most of the soldiers were against her at first. I, and everybody else, knew that we could trust her with our lives, knowing that we'd come out alive no matter what it did to her. Kudos put her soul into every mission, no matter how big or how small it was, even if it meant retrieving the bloody screwdriver when we needed to fix something!
Loving, assertive, firm
Kudos was always kind and helped those who had been injured or those who had fallen ill. She would make daily trips through the Hospital Wing when we were stationed at the HQ. Kudos would go through the room, head held high, a smile on her face and her tail wagging like crazy! Not one person felt sad when she walked through that steel door.
Even though Kudos was kind and helpful she always got what she wanted, no matter what the odds. I always remember when it was pouring down outside but she loved the rain, to this day I have no idea why, and she dragged me outside because our General said that she wasn't allowed to leave the premises without me. Literally, she pushed me out the door and dropped a dog lead in my hands. All the blokes were pointing out the window and laughing at me. Kudos got revenge on them, but that's a different story for a different time.
Firm. Strong. Two words that also describe Kudos. She would see that things got done, in a kind but firm way so that nobody could protest. Although she's only a Tracker Dog and can't speak she somehow managed to persuade everyone to do whatever she wanted. Maybe it was her terrifying exterior, maybe it was her warm interior.
We'll never know.

An extract from the log book of General .J. Hector
3rd of July 2027
Today started off as an ordinary day, my day off. Like I've said, a week ago I was stationed back at HQ for some important meeting or something that the General wanted to discuss with me. Now, being a Private like I am, this came to me as a pretty big shock. If Generals wanted to Speak to Privates they would go through the Sargents or Luitenants, never come and speak to them first-hand!
Now, I didn't just get a day off for what the sargent had to say to me(well I did but I can at least pretend there was another reason). Today's my birthday. Twenty eight. I've been in the army for ten years, ever since the war started.
Ok, this is what happened at the General's office; I was sent to the Lab. Not much eh? Well, it gets more interesting. The General brought me to the Lab, which I had never seen before, and he showed me to a stone room. Now, being in the year 2027, stone was pretty rare for us. Well, not rare but rarely seen. Since metal it's virtually useless.
Anyway, the Lab-guy handed me over this....thing. It looked kind of like a dog, despite the fact it had no eyes, multiple spikes and two gun-things sticking out of it's shoulders. I was informed that the thing is female. Meh. Doesn't matter does it? I'm looking after it to go up the ranks. Hopefully, it'll work.
Apparently I've to raise it since I've got the most 'fathering' attitude and they want to try a nuturing course of action and to then train it with 'love' or whatever. As long as it gets me more money then I'll be fine!

I know this isn't being sent to you and you'll never hear these words but you need to know this; I love you girl. You're my baby and I hope that wherever you are out there in that field I'll find you. Even if it takes my life I will find you. And when I do I'll read you this message so that you know that for the past three weeks I haven't stopped thinking about you. If I had a time-machine I'd go back in time and slap myself for not wanting to look after you when I first set my lucky eyes on you. In fact, I should just slap myself now but I can't waste any time.
I'm coming to get you, girl. You'll be home soon, back in my arms.

This tracker is different to the others. It caught my eye immediately, and is rather unique. I’ve always loved unique characters, especially tough looking ones. I have quite an interesting story developing in my mind

Yes, on my character thread. It will be a continuing story that is a chronicle of Anfang’s past, present and future. If it gets long enough, I might take it to DA with your permission and credit you for the character, of course.

Experiment’s Temperament
~ Intelligent ~
Anfang is intelligent and quick witted, though her hard training is to answer for her knowledge. She has seen many things in her rather short lifetime. Though she is smart, she is also very uniform and disciplined. Her uptight nature makes her often difficult to get along with and bland upon first look.

~ Ashamed & Modest ~
She knows of her power and is almost ashamed of it. She longs to be normal, though in her knowledge is also that fact that normality for the experimental tracker is impossible.

~ Bad Tempered ~
Anfang can be bad tempered at times. She is deadly at such times, and usually left alone in fear she will become too aggressive and attack. However, once again due to her training she would never do such a thing. Her appearance often brings with it mistrust and wariness though, for which she despises how she looks once again.
~ Silent ~
Anfang doesn’t talk much and is quite shy. She was often teased by other trackers and withdrew from them.

~ Wary ~
Anfang only gets along with and shows a more confident side of herself to her trainer or those she trusts and loves dearly. Anyone she meets that she feels isn’t ‘quite right’ she will be withdrawn, slightly aggressive and wary of. Most people and creatures alike she meets will meet the wary Anfang and as they grow to know her will begin to meet the real Anfang.

~ Loyal ~
Anfang is fiercely loyal. She is devoted to those who train her and would give her life to save them. She is strong willed when fighting or helping someone and is renowned for that, even if some doubt her abilities and safeness.

Experiment Log:

Log 001 || Prof. Hannah Burgen || 13th October 2010
Experiment 9 – 001 has been created. Trialling a new sort of attack and defense for the tracker, as well as toxins and external organs filled with the toxins, Experiment 9 – 001 seems set to be let out into the world to trial its temperament and usefulness. The Experiment will be trialled in all sorts of work ; Search and Rescue, Fire, Ambulance Work and other sorts of Crime and Policing. We will be able to determine what her purpose is through these trials, and hopefully be able to eventually rehome her.

Experiment 9 – 001 seems wary of me. When I put my hand close, she cowers and emits a soft warning growl. I don’t believe she will attack, but she seems unsure of my presence and safety. Eventually, with time she will grow to trust me, though I hope for her sake it is soon. The lab created this experiment to trial these new additions to the species, however if she is too timid they may destroy her or cast her out. Her health is fine, as is her appetite. She seems to be more comfortable around me when I bring her raw mince and cut apple.

Log 002 || Prof. Hannah Burgen || 16th October 2010

Experiment 9 – 001 has grown slightly closer to me. She came out of her cage this morning when I arrived at the lab and greeted me, but as I came closer she retreated once again. However, she came back outside within a few moments, smelling the apple I had with me. She ate hastily from my hand, and then retreated once more. She bit one of the co-workers earlier on yesterday, and that certain worker called in sick. It is believed the toxin from Experiment 9 – 001 may have made her ill.

The experiment’s health and appetite are both good. The other workers seem afraid to approach her but I believe they will eventually come to like her.

Log 003 || Prof. Hannah Burgen || 24th October 2010

The co-worker Experiment 9 – 001 bit died last night in hospital, in a critical condition. I haven’t told anyone that she was bitten, and don’t intend to. The experiment will be destroyed if I do, and we have already made a solid bond between each other. She now greets me every morning, no matter if I have food or not, and watches me work. She is quite tame around the lab, though when I take her out for small mock jobs she becomes a wild beast, determined and sometimes savage. I think she will easily find her purpose.

I have nick named her Anfang, The Deadly Blossom. She is definitely deadly, I know that for sure, and I believe her to be a blossom. Though her strange appearance deters others away, she is much like a misunderstood flower. Her appetite and health are good.
