Tracker Dog Application Series 9Username: NativeWolf
Tracker Dog you want: #29
Name you'll give it: Dune
Reason why you want it: I love the design on this dog! Plus I don't have a tracker yet and I really want one. I also think that this dog would make a great addition to my story with Symfeara, with your permission of course.
Will it be used in any kind of story? Yes, I'm writing a story about one of my fursona's and should I win him he would be a perfect fit to help move the plot along.
Describe its personality:
Dune is extremely loyal and will always do whatever his owner asks of him. Being a loyal companion Dune is also very sensitive to his owner. For example if Dune's owner was feeling sad, then he would do his best to make them feel better. Dune can be kind and playful when he isn’t working and would love it if his owner would just have fun with him. However Dune is very friendly as well and would attempt to help anyone in need of his aid.
Write an introduction for your Tracker:
Symfeara wandered lonely in the vast desert. The sand was kicking up in the beginnings of a raging sand storm. She sighed in desperation. Symfeara wasn’t used to the desert conditions. Her fur was not thick, but heavy enough to make her hot and sweaty. Her paws were not shaped to walk in the shifting sand and all her senses were hindered by the sands. Symfeara licked her dry lips and felt the burning in her throat screaming at her for water. The storm was picking up now and Symfeara’s hope plummeted. She was lost among the dunes and she knew it would end this was for her. Symfeara finally stopped, giving up hope and lay down on the sand, with her head on her paws. The wolf closed her eyes for the final time resigned to die here.
Symfeara opened her eyes to find she wasn’t dead after all. Looking about her surroundings she could see she was in a pyramid of some sort. There were statues of animals and little pictures that she remembered were called hieroglyphs. Symfeara scanned the room for danger, it wasn’t like she had brought herself here something else had to have. Symfeara was open to many things people thought were myth, but what she saw next made ever her question her sanity. A dog sitting like one of the statues suddenly moved. Only thing is it wasn’t a dog. Symfeara had only ever heard of them once from someone she never gave much credit. They were called tracker dogs, or trackers for short. Symfeara stared at it shocked. Then the tracker came closer to her and wagged its tail slightly. Symfeara’s facial expressions changed in response. She knew it could be trusted and she turned to her human form and petted the little creature on its head. Symfeara hugged it, which brought about more tail wags and even a few face licks. She laughed a little and turned to look outside. The storm was gone and the sun was shining. Symfeara’s hope grew; she would find her way home now. She turned back to the tracker and spoke to him kindly. “Thank you for saving me. I wouldn’t be here right now if not for you.” The tracker lifted its face to Symfeara and seemed to smile. “You seem so alone here. I know how about you come home with me. There are lots of people who would love to see an adorable face like you and lots of love and attention to go around. How about it boy?” The tracker wagged its tail harder, if that was possible. So Symfeara stood up and walked outside and in the direction that called her toward her home. The tracker followed in her bounding along like a dog would. Symfeara looked back and smiled knowing they would be friends for a long time to come.
Please do not note me about my WMEs, they are not for sale/trade and never will be. I love my kids and wouldn’t even think of letting them leave me. Thank you for understanding and respecting this.
