That's just it. Its not being USED off-site. Its being LINKED TO. On the original page that its on. There is nothing wrong with that.

Just a quick question - if it can't be used here, why link to it?
People won't see the note in the comments that says to only use it on dA, and then they'll use it against the creator's permission, not knowing they're doing anything wrong because it was in the lineart post.

Yes -- linking implies that is all right to use the line art here. But it isn't so it should be taken down.

First of all, I was the one who created the lineart in the first place. Now, I realize I didn't add the "ask permission rule" to that particular lineart, however, I also did not say "This lineart can be used outside DeviantART, so the lineart user should have still requested my permission to use it off-site. Therefore, I have every right to ask that it be removed.

Also, looking to see if using a lineart off-site is okay does not require "looking over the entire account". All it requires is a quick comment or note.

I don't see what the problem is here. The artist asked for it not to be used outside of DA, even if it wasn't in the spot that most people are used to.
You all clearly see the comment now, and know she doesn't want it used. Where it's posted shouldn't matter. You can't just completely ignore her for that. It's art theft.

And the line art is removed. Make sure that the line art you link to is free to take off DA. Even though it said that is it's comments, it was still said. I don't see the argument... The artist didn't want it on other sites so it was removed. Drop it.

Look, right now I'm really stressed out about a lot of things, and I honestly didn't understand the meaning of the initial post. Awhile ago there was a character up and it was using that lineart; I had no idea it had been adopted, and my thoughts were that the argument was toward that donation, not the link.
I've been slowly but surely drifting away from CS for awhile. This is just the last straw.

I have no interest in CS or the agency anymore, and while I will be helping the remaining crew make up for the loss of so many staff members, please do not bother me with agency-related things.

Please don't ask me to change my mind. My stress-level is a lot more important then this website.
