Why Do you Want This Character?As I was writing my story, I realized that I'd added in a character that I loved...but I didn't know what he looked like. So, I went searching through the forms and found this sweetie pie.
Fell in love with his original design, quite honestly - I thought he was just your average black bear, and just happened to be in a bee costume...but upon further inspection, I found out that the markings weren't a costume. XD He looks so child-like, and that's really a main reason of why I decided I wanted him. He's just so sweet.
What Will You Use Him For?I'll be using this adorable black bear as a character on CS. Obviously, he's in the story (which you can read down below) and I'll care for this little guy, too. I REALLY stink at drawing bears, but I might try to get some art of him from other sources.

Personality:Calm and QuietNormally very calm, Bumble is not very rowdy. He rarely makes a fuss, and is often content by playing with his toys in a corner or reading short books alone. Not a social creature, Bumble doesn't make friends easily - but he doesn't mind. He knows he's different, and that most kids don't like to be around creatures like him. He rarely talks back or mouths off to people - for that matter, he rarely talks at all! He loves to be immersed in his own little world, pretending and living in a realm of fantasy for the most part. While he knows that not everything that he imagines is real...he wishes it was.

Eyes Filled With Wonder...Bumble is easily awed. He finds beauty in the simple things in life, such as finding a new color that he likes, or watching a butterfly float past. His favorite month of the year is Fall/Autumn. This is because of all the new things that happen during this time - the leaves change color and start to fall off of the trees; the wind gets crisp; the weather gets chilly; and there are always new scents that are in the breeze. Bumble often will stand and stare at the trees in Autumn, counting how many leaves fall from the branches, or watching as the green color slowly seeps out of them. One of his favorite things to do is watch clouds roll by, or lay down at night and stare up at the twinkling stars. Often he'll just lay there, admiring the celestial bodies and the beautiful light that they emit.

OverjoyedEasily pleased and entertained, Bumble is a very joyous bear. He doesn't like to dwell on the bad things, so he figures out ways to be happy. He sees the glass as half-full, not half-empty. He finds joy in the little things, like finding flower petals or planting a tomato plant. He loves to eat, and often finds joy in doing this mundane task. He will often just smile for no reason at all, contemplating whatever his intelligent self can figure.

Childlike and CarefreeHe adores coloring, and loves to draw - even though he's not the best artist around. He likes figuring out jigsaw puzzles, and will often sit and try to complete one in under a day, which is a difficult task for someone like him. His favorite games are

checkers. He also likes playing
four corners,
crazy eights, and
go fish.
Bumble doesn't have very many responsibilities. Because of this, he has more time to devote to playing and exploring the house he lives in, and often seems younger than he is for this reason.

Why do you Want These Characters? The first time I saw Dominic on the thread, I fell in love instantly. I loved his design - I honestly didn't care that he's pink; I thought it added something very interesting to the character - and I absolutely ADORED the air he gave off. His entire stance just says so much about him. When I looked at him closer, I noticed his "derped" or "wall-eyed" gaze. That gave me an idea that he had been bullied as a child, and this had affected his life in different ways - in other words, he'd had a rough life. The way Dominic stands almost commands your attention - but I see more strength and perseverance in his stance than anything.
I love how Sitembileq is so different than the average Fennec Fox character you see 'round these parts. The more I looked at her, the more I got the idea to make her an amputee - someone who's lost limbs, or other items from the body due to various reasons. Upon thinking further about her, I thought to make her a veteran - someone who's fought in a war. Finally, I put the two ideas together: when she fought in the war, Sitembileq lost both her back legs. This is how I decided to create a very tragic and difficult past for her.
Then, as I thought about these things, I had an idea to put both characters together.
After all, misery loves company, doesn't it?
What Will You Use Them For?I'll definitely get some beautiful art of the two of them, as I absolutely LOVE their designs! I'll also write up a story about them (which can be seen below in the "history" section), and I will care and love for them. They'll get spots on my ever-growing character thread, and I'll even try my hand at drawing them every once in awhile (even though I STINK at drawing pretty much anything other than ponies). I just think they're so amazing and original, and overall are just superb.

Personality:GentleLiving through a hard life of bullying, Dominic is very understanding and gentle to those he meets. He's very calm and patient, and rarely raises his voice. If he's serious about something, he'll obviously become more empowered with his speech, but for the most part he's quiet. For these reasons and more, Dominic is very good with children. He loves to play with them and answer any questions which they have. He is a substitute teacher at a school, teaching only once every blue moon. On days he doesn't teach, he'll sometimes still stop by the school, eager to help the children learn and grow in knowledge and wisdom.

OpenDominic is very open about what he believes in and what he thinks is right. Even though he's quiet, he'll speak up if something goes wrong. Not only is he open about what he believes in, Dominic is also very open about his intentions. Although he's very much like this in most conversations, at times he likes being alone. Strong and Quick of WitBeing bullied is a tough thing to go through - particularly when there's no one there to help you through it. Dominic went through a part of his life where every day was a tragedy, and he had to struggle to keep himself from sinking in the metaphorical waters of loneliness and depression. At times he felt as though he was barely keeping himself afloat, clawing at the water with all of his might...
One day, he figured it all out. "You can't let your past define you. And it doesn't matter if anyone thinks badly of you. What matters is that you're happy with yourself and you don't let others get you down." With these words, Dominic headed out with a new lease on life. When others would make fun of him or try to bully him, he'd fight back - mostly with words, as he didn't like to get physical. He became intelligent, being well-known for his fast comebacks and calm demeanor in fights. He rarely loses his temper, even when provoked.

DeterminedWith his new outlook on life, Dominic didn't stay the weak little boy he'd been for years. He became a strong, independent being, not taking "no" for an answer in certain circumstances. He disliked how people looked down on him, and hated how they made fun of him - so he decided to prove them wrong. He became valedictorian of all five of his classes in his early schooling, and continued to be valedictorian for all of his classes afterwards. Dominic learned to protect himself, becoming quite good with a sword and shield. He enjoyed learning how to shoot with a bow and arrow, and he currently loves running - he learned to be steady on his feet, and accomplished much, even with his disability. He vowed to never let his disability define him - he promised to be more than just a label.

Ring of Time and LightDominic has sworn to not use his powers for evil - but that doesn't lessen the fact that he does have powers. The glowing ring around his neck is an easy way to tell this fact is true - the purple glow symbolizes royalty, and the actual ring is made up of excess energy. It snuffs out when he's asleep, but other than that, it swirls around his neck every hour of every day. If he drops something, and it hits the ring, it doesn't really do anything except slow down a bit. While being composed of energy, the ring doesn't destroy what it touches. PowerfulWith his ring, Dominic has the power over time. However, his power is very specific - he can only jump backwards in time. He once jumped back to the dinosaur age, and then jumped back to present-day, but he couldn't go farther into the future than the exact moment he'd left for the past. Once in the past, he cannot impact anything, otherwise his future would change, and he'd be stuck in that olden-time forever. He's careful, as a time-traveler, to only observe and not act. This can be hard at times, especially when he sees he can save someone's life - but he refuses to do so every time, due to his not being able to act. Whenever he's faced with a hard decision in the past, he usually just jumps forward to present-day, that way he doesn't have to think about whatever he wanted to do, but couldn't. Dominic doesn't use his power very often. He's careful to only use it when he needs to - like if the children ask him a question about ancient Rome, he can use his power to quickly go back and find the answer to the question, and then pop back to present-day. When he's in the past, he doesn't like to stay long, even though he sometimes counts it as a sanctuary - a place where he doesn't have to worry about being thought of as odd or weird. For, when he's in the past, everyone seems to accept him as an official, and as the royal he is. While this can get annoying - the Egyptians wanted to build a statue of him, and Dominic had to keep explaining that he wasn't a god - Dominic counts this power as a good thing, as he never has to be worried of being made fun of in the past.

I'm Not Royal, I'm Just Your Average Joe...Seeing as his mother is a lioness and his father is half-dragon, Dominic's ancestry is quite an interesting subject for most who look into it. His mother is purebred, and his father is not - being half-dragon and half royal-puddle, well, it's quite a different look at lineage of royals. His mother was a queen of a kingdom, and when she married Dominic's father, he became royal by marriage [(though, technically, he was already royal on his father's side, seeing as he was a royal puddle). A royal puddle is a type of creature that glows; royal puddles normally resemble galaxies, but less dark and more colorful. They tend to take on forms of animals, so as to appear a tad bit more normal. Why these creatures are considered "royal" is still unknown to most people.] When they had their son, Dominic was accepted as royal by blood.
While Dominic is royal by birth, he lives a life similar to anyone you'd meet on the street. When he's reminded of his status as a royal being - "Oh, sir! You're more important than me! Please, step in front of me in line!" - he's not thrilled, per say, but he doesn't make a big fuss. He simply does whatever the being speaking to him wishes for him to do, for whenever he tried to talk beings out of it in the past, it never ended well. He'd either get backlash from the press or other horrid things that would mar his usually pristine image in the eyes of the public.
Even though being nice is an advantage to his popularity among his subjects, Dominic isn't kind for that reason. In fact, he really doesn't care what the press says about him - he just continues on, living his life as he normally would. He's friendly because he's that way by nature - and the same can be said for his kindness.

Greatest Desire:Dominic's greatest desire in life is to find someone to love. He often wishes he didn't feel so alone, and even when he fills his time with helping the children at the school, he still finds that there are times where he just feels lonely. He doesn't want to feel this way, and has convinced himself that if he could only find the right girl that he'd no longer feel so bad. Hearing fairy tales as a child, he often wondered what it'd be like to have his own happy ending.

Medical Difficulty:Amputee - She lost her entire back left leg and part of her back right leg (transfemorial) to a tragic accident in her past.
Unlike some non-mammalian animals, once removed, human extremities do not grow back, unlike portions of some organs, such as the liver. A transplant or a prosthesis are the only options for recovering the loss.

Personality:InsecureBeing abandoned as a kit, Themba tends to have trust issues. She doesn't think of herself as beautiful - while quite the opposite is true. After trying to look beautiful and putting a lot of effort into her appearance, she still felt ugly. After years of trying different "beautifying" tactics with no luck, Themba gave up. She no longer wears make-up, nor does she try to look even remotely beautiful.
She often looks in the mirror and wonders why she can't see beauty - all she can see is a scarred body and eyes full of regret.

ResoluteEven with her insecurities, Themba is resolute. When she sets her gaze on something, she gets it done. She often goes out of her way to get something she wants. She's very determined, and rarely takes "no" for an answer. She doesn't like people who put her down, or say she can't do something due to her status as an amputee, so she strives to prove them wrong.

ObstinateWhile being insecure in regards to her looks, Themba shares no such insecurities elsewhere in her life. She's loud, opinionated, and can be quite pig-headed. She can be stubborn, and often beings get frustrated trying to communicate with her, as she's very adamant about what she believes in and what she thinks is right.

She tends to be very distrusting of people due to her past experiences; she doesn't trust easily, and is loyal to few. Children are the worst - they don't have a filter, and often blurt out cruel sentences and questions. She doesn't blame them for not being at the proper maturity level - rather, she blames their parents for letting them be so unkind.

Living in a Nightmare...Themba went to fight in a war. There, she had such bad injuries that she was forced to accept the fact that her legs would be better off her than on her. She had tried every last possible effort to keep her legs, and nothing succeeded. Only then did she relent and have surgery performed.
Sometimes, when beings make rude remarks about her amputated legs, she gets flashbacks to the instances which caused her old injuries. In these times, she can be seen staring off into space, a look of horror present on her face. These are the few instances where anyone can actually see what Themba is feeling - she's very good at hiding most of her emotions (other than anger, skepticism, and distrust). She often uses her anger as a cover up for her raging emotions underneath. While she may seem angry at the world, she truly is just hurting and lonely, not being able to find someone like herself who can understand why she is the way she is.

UnderstandingWhile Themba may seem like a firecracker, underneath all the pomp and anger is a very caring creature. When she sees young children, she often has a maternal instinct kick in - she sometimes will stand guard by the playground, making sure the children are safe. When she sees anyone with a disability or medical difficulty like herself, she feels a connection. She tries to seek these beings out, and befriend them, thinking that they can understand how she feels and what she has to go through on a daily basis. She often has pity for younger children with these difficulties or disabilities, and will go out of her way to help them in any way she can - whether it's giving them a roof over their heads for a couple nights or feeding them a hot meal every now and then. When she can, she helps find them stable and loving homes to live in; if they're in a bad situation, she helps them get out of it - even if that means calling the police and getting interrogated for something she didn't do.

Greatest Desire:She has no true desire currently, other than to find someone who will understand her for who she is. Themba wishes for someone who won't laugh at her scars, won't stare cruelly at her deformed body...she wishes for someone to accept her as she is.
