I just finished reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, and I absolutely loved the Jabberwocky poem. The phrase "frumious Bandersnatch" has been running through my head all day, and when I saw Frumie here, the name just seemed to click.

Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?:
Why- Obviously, I was first struck by his absolutely gorgeous design. The swirls, the delicate fade from black to soft magenta-red, and his adorable bobbed tail all contribute to his allure. What really caught my attention, though, was his eyes. They are such a soft yellow-green color, yet they stand out and accentuate his markings. The way he is looking off into the distance gives me the impression that he knows something I don't, and I would love the chance to spend more time with him to find out what that is.
I will- I will definitely order art of him, since that's one of my favorite things to do with my characters. I love to see the different interpretations each artist takes on the character, and I often feel like a different side of the character is revealed through the artist's portrayal. My characters grow and mature before my very eyes, and I love to see them take that journey. I am not a very good artist myself, but I do love to write and he would be included in many stories along with my current (and future) characters.

Personality:
Shrewd: Frumie is incredibly shrewd and clever. It can be very difficult to see what's going on in his head, but he is always analyzing the environment around him.

Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?: I love its markings!!! They are perfectly placed and they look so majestic! I think it will be one of my favorite characters- possible fursona. But i already have one so not really likely. Oh! And I will order art of her- write poems about her! Yeah that too!

History/Background:
She squinted her eyes in the bright morning sunlight, she could not recall going to sleep, but she had. Laying beside the river, she bent down and took a cool sip. It seemed to dance across her tongue. For she had not had cool, clean water for days. Her previous housing had only lasted a few days, for the humans grew bored with her and kept "forgeting" to feed her and give her clean water. They had given her freedom, which was a mistake on their part. She had left without any warning, no differences in her behavior. She just... Left. She was tired of being abused and being starved.
When she brought her head back she realized she had a stinging pain in the pit of her stomach, so she set out to find some food. She got up on her wobbly legs, tired from last night's run. She went into a deeper part of the forest, keeping the stream to her back, so she would be able to find her way back. Out of the corner of her eye Minty saw movement. A squirrel! Minty crouched down and slipped silently through the brush. She reached where the squirell was and she began drooling as the delightful scent of squirel reached her nostrils. Finally she could stand it no longer, she pounced. The squirrel shrieked and tried to run away, but Minty's powerful jaws had already bitten into him, keeping him still. Finally, when she was sure he was limp, Minty surveyed her meal. he was a good sized squirrel who smelled DELICIOUS! She gobbled him up faster than you could say, "Minty loves squirrels!" She sat on her haunches licking her chops, when she began to feel drowsy. She stumbled back to the stream and plopped down on her stomach. After one more drink of water. Minty gave a satisfied sigh, and fell asleep, it was a deep one.
