To breed, you must both own a purple porberry or a pink porberry. I'm pretty sure it's that way. And BeazerE seems to be the only one owning one.

I think if you're breeding your own, though, you only need one.

Oh, no! Your partner doesn't need a berry as well. Just whomever pays gets the pups. If they want pups too though, they have to get a berry (It doesn't matter which kind) too
