Equid Number:11
Owner: TiNyHaNdS05
Equid Name: Lee
Art: xXx
Personality: Lee is a very up-beat WME with a tenancy to be easily side tracked. He has a strong love for adventure and exploration and travel. He is currently on a mission to see most of the world and is always bringing back souvenirs. Sometimes he gets to out of hand and likes to brag a little. He is a braggart by heart, but he means well and can often tell when he needs to shut up about something or when he's hurting those close to him. Lee also loves Mulberries, or mulberry flavored things. He has a strong dislike for staying still, he can't stand to stay still he has to be running or on the move. Lee is trying to change how he acts in public, but his strong childish ways are far too strong for that. He's not very responsible, though he can be overly protective of those and things he cares for greatly.
Describe his eyes: Steel blue-grey eyes, the color of sun bleached forget-me-not petals ringed with a hint of indigo, the color of a glacier in the coldest part of the world, palest watery blue like the eyes, almost like you could see and hear the oceans splashing or the brightest day filled with the singing of birds and the pitter-patter of tiny water droplets falling off of tree leaves. Soft blue that could almost put you into a trance.

Equid Number:31
Owner: Kessler
Equid Name: Saphira
Personality: Saphira is a fiery young equid with a gaze of warmth and charisma. She can make others feel good with just a gaze. She has so much energy inside of her and is the type that decides to be positive and clear her mind. She is a positively dazzling girl who tries her best to look good and happy, even if her coat is soaked with mud!
Saphira is very playful and overall a nice girl to be around!
Short story about her past:
A thunderous noise crashed and seemed to tear apart the whole mountain. Saphira was on the edge of a rock, pounded by rail, the poor girl's mane and tail wet, she tried to walk, but slipped and fell. All she could say was "why me, why me, why me?". She looked up and saw another equid, grinning. He simple trotted up to her and with a SHOVE pushed her away. He trotted....did a weird kind of canter up to her. He was still smiling. She was furious and yelled at him "HOW CAN YOU BE HAPPY AT A TIME LIKE THIS!?". The other gently nibbled her ear snorting. "Loosen up, the world's not always bad!"
Loosen up
Loosen up....
those words forever echoed in her memory, that equid so long ago helped her shape who she is today. But until this day, she will always regret that she never said thank you to him, before this she was miserable, but he- in those simple words- helped her undergo a transformation.

Equid Number:25
Owner: Tori!(:
Equid Name: Anubis
Personality: Anubis is very independent, wanting to do things on his own and never admitting he needs help... However, he does realize that at times help is needed and though it is like pulling teeth when it comes to getting help, he will do so. He is intelligent, and cunning, always calculating how certain things would be beneficial to him, and what could completely ruin something. He enjoys just stopping and smelling the roses, as the saying goes, and tries to live each day to its fullest. One of his favorite things in life, and the code he lives by, is that you never know when tragedy may strike. So live each day to its potential. When out among others he is very refined and doesn't like to show much emotion, using a poker face almost all the time. He speaks only when spoken to, and doesn't offer his opinion, which is what he believes a 'Gentleman' does. Deep down Anubis has a very sweet heart, and yearns for someone who will love him for who he truly is, someone who he can be himself in front of all the time.
Favorite color and why: His favorite color is a light blue because it's the color of the sky and the water. He truly loves running through water and laying out underneath the sky to relax and get some heat on his fur.
Domestic or wild: wild child :'3

Postby Sayna Jaye » Sun Aug 11, 2013 1:27 pm

Equid Number:17
Owner: Sayna Jaye
Equid Name: Bandele. It means "follow me home" and originates in West Africa. [This was my original entry for her, and I still think it fits.]
Fact on bongos(animal): They will eat the bark of trees that has been burned by a lightning strike in order to get more necessary minerals, such as salt, in their diet.
Favorite scent: The way grass smells sweeter on the air just before a storm.
Domestic or wild and why: Wild. My whole herd is wild, and I would like her to interact with them. Since she's also based on the non-domestic bongo, I think it's appropriate.

None of my Wild Mountain Equids are available for purchase or trade.
If you have questions about a breeding with one of my characters that was previously agreed upon, please message me. I would prefer not to have my character bred any further, if possible.

Re: Wild Mountain Equids: The Re-Homing

Postby Faded Denim » Sun Aug 11, 2013 2:05 pm

Equid Number:5
Owner: Faded Denim
Equid Name: I would change his name to Akiru c:
Rare frog: http://www.moolf.com/images/stories/Ani ... orld-1.jpg While not the most attractive frog, I chose this one because of it's unusual characteristics and background. Its nose is quite different from most frogs, not to mention its purple skin, and this frog is thought to be related to ancient frogs that lived during the time of the dinosaurs. It reminded me of the equid because I've never seen an equid like him.
Personality: Akiru has a very volatile temper, flashing from care-free to rage filled in the blink of an eye. This has cost him many things in his short life, including the mare he loved. However, when not angered he is one of the friendliest equids you'll meet. He'd love to have a herd of his own one day, though he knows it's a far away dream. Curiosity is another trait that persists in everything he does, and is generally the reason he does it. "Why did you chase the birds?" His mother asked one day. "So I could see how they flew, and maybe one day I could too", he responded, gazing after the birds with contented satisfaction. This curiostity, however, has lead him to many dangerous situations, so he generally tries to make sure his friends don't get caught in the cross-fire of his goal.
Favorite color: Raw Sienna- http://fs02.androidpit.info/afg/x12/818 ... 710116.png
He likes raw sienna because it's color can represent life, and it's joys, or the destruction that comes with orange flames.

Maybe we're like bottles
Drained or brimming full
Cracked or stained with alcohol
Dumped into a pool

Maybe we're like bottles
Hollow at our core
But filled with dreams and memories
Always spilling more

People seek to fill themselves
By means of blood and gore
They search within the see through depths
Steal what's at your core

And maybe that's why you don't see glass bottles anymore

we are the collest crew. 8|

Re: Wild Mountain Equids: The Re-Homing

Postby redninetails » Sun Aug 11, 2013 2:55 pm

Equid Number:17
Owner: redninetails
Equid Name: Erra
Fact on bongos(animal): They have a high need for salt and have been observed visiting "salt licks" at the edges of forests. They have also been known to eat charred wood to get needed minerals and salts. source
Favorite scent: the fresh dampness that the air carries after a large storm has passed
Domestic or wild and why: She would be wild. Given the fact that Bongos are shy and rather elusive animals that live in dense rainforests, and that she's based off of a Bango, I feel it would best suite her to show similar behavioral traits to an actual bongo. I don't feel that it would be appropriate for her to be domestic given those facts as bongos themselves do not generally have human interaction.
