Dragon you're wooing:
Lumina
(coincidental as it may seem, Lumina was the name of my former Fursona, and is one of my character's aliases. ^.^ That's why she's calling out to me.)
Woo:
Aira's POV
I was terrified, but at the same time, awed. It was not everyday that new stars were discovered, so this was a big event. I stood in the midst of the crowds, anxiously anticipating the arrival of the Galaxy Dragons. Something stirred within me as soon as Mahkrae appeared. The beauty and grace of a Galaxy Dragon! Oh, what I would give to have one of them as a companion. Even meeting one would be a dream com true for me. A few seconds later, the room quietened, and I looked around to figure out why.
What I saw made my breath hitch. A beautiful blue dragon flowed - no, she did not fly, she flowed - into her position next to the Boss. The pink swirls on her body added a touch of character to her, and as soon as I heard her speak, I knew that I needed to try to woo her. She was calling out to me. Well maybe not, but I needed to try, nevertheless.
Two other dragons followed her, a red one with darker stripes and turquoise eyes - he looked appealing as well, but not as appealing as the female, and a gray one - who was apparently late. At first, when I saw the gray one, I felt the urge to woo him as well, but as soon as he spoke, I decided against it. I had had too many arrogant experiences with others, and as such, I did not need another one. That left Lumina. Her name was perfect. Compared to the other two, she seemed like a light. Her colors were pleasing to the eye, and they were both dark and light enough as to not hurt my eyes.
Once Seth, the gray Dragon, had settled, I waited a moment to compose myself before approaching Lumina. "Greetings Dragon Lumina, my name is Aireiya, but I am known to most as Aira. I don't want to bore you with my family history, so I will do no such thing."
Taking a deep breath, I continued, determination shining in my violet eyes. "I have been in love with Galaxy Dragons ever since I heard of them, which was a really long time. This is my first time meeting one up close, and for that I thank you, since you are the first Dragon I have ever met, face to face."
"I had originally wanted a Dragon who would just keep me company, but after witnessing the three of you, I realized that something as trivial as 'company' might not be a good enough reason. So, I decided to just wing the whole thing."
Looking up to meet the Dragon's magenta eyes, I mentally prepared myself. "I want a Dragon who can balance me out, and also teach me new things. I am a very inquisitive person who is naturally curious and is a fast learner. My hands a quick, and I can handle blades. My parents are always telling me to be more feminine, and that's why seeing you flow in was such a big impact on me, since I'm a teen who acts without thinking."
"I also think that you need someone who can teach you how to use femininity to its maximum potential - forgive me if I'm wrong. You seem like the delicate, graceful type, but I think you need to use that more to your advantage, because you sound somewhat inexperienced, from the way your voice is so light."
"However, I am not saying that I am right. I am just making inferences from what I saw and heard when you entered."
"Thank you, Dragon Lumina," I said finally as she turned and walked back to her earlier spot, awaiting the verdict. I shook my head to clear my thoughts as I gazed back into her magenta eyes. 'I hope I get chosen.'
