Tracker Dog Application Series 1
Username: -Jezi-
Tracker Dog you want: #1
Name you'll give it: Agent
Reason why you want it: I love his design (of course) its simple, yet striking. Also he looks like hes got that "don't mess with me" personality, which I love, and the 'wild' tracker dog lineart kinda gives him a bit of fluffy cuteness in my mind <3
Will it be used in any kind of story? Yes, he'll have a backstory at least, and I'll probably write about him with another character at some point in time
Describe its personality: Being a tracker who is very serious about his job, Agent rarely takes the time to make friends but those who are close to him know he is easy enough to get along with. He will never refuse to work as he is doing what he loves and if what he is guarding is threatened he won't hesitate to attack.
Write an introduction for your Tracker: (this is written from his point of view)
The day had started with the usual, eat, training, break, training, all that stuff. All of the work could be tiring sometimes, but I knew it was only helping me to become better at my job, and my job was all that was important. Then, that afternoon things were different, I didn't know what was going on at first but all of the workers around me had started calling me "Agent". I didn't know why they kept doing that, and it confused me, but after my afternoon training they brought me out to the place they called the 'lobby'. I didn't like the 'lobby' all the sounds were different from what I normally heard, and there were so many different scents, I could hardly concentrate on any one thing for more than a moment. She, it was an unknown "she", one whose scent I didn't recognize as it was very different from any of the workers I had encountered before, called softly to me using that name "Agent" again. Cautiously I followed the sound of her voice, not knowing whether or not I should trust her. When I finally came close to her, I wasn't really sure what to do so I was surprised when I heard one of the workers telling me that she was my new owner, that I was going home with her. I recoiled from this thought at first, but then I realized it meant I was going to do what I had been waiting so long for, I was going to do my job. "Agent" my now owner called again. I followed her readily this time, eager to know what it was I would be guarding, ready to prove myself in the real world, where not everything was a training session and you really could be in danger at any moment. Never have I been more excited in my life.
So the days went on after that, it wasn't much different from my old life except that instead of "training" I had "work", and there was very little time for breaks. I worked mostly in the night time now, as Miki (My owners name, as I found out recently) thought I would scare too many of her guests during the day. She had me guarding her most important possessions, which included various writings, her presumably valuable pets (one of which was a very annoying poodle whom I did not enjoy living with at all), and her many jewelry pieces. Miki regarded me simply as a tool for guarding her valuables, not that I minded this at all as it meant I could work without too many distractions, but Miki's human guard, Roy, had become one of my best friends at the house and we frequently partnered up on our various duties, be it night or day. Despite how easy it seemed to be to do this job, I knew I had to keep alert and ready, on the off chance that something did happen and I needed to be ready for it. (I might work off this and add more later, we'll see)
