story:
Their arrival
It was the day and micro was not going to miss it. He ran as fast as his strong dark legs could carry him.
The raging sun’s rays beated down on his dark fur making it glisten and shin.
After about 20 minutes of funning and panting, micro suddenly stopped.
His eyes widened and his smile slowly grew. As he peeked around the corner
of his den their in the corner was his mate mink. She was a pretty young girl with a
sweet and timed face. And by her side were two small bundles of fur one black and one brown.
Micro walked in the den and licked mink on her cheek. As he lay next to them
the black fluff ball slowly unfolded into a chubby little pup with large paws and his eyes
clamped shut. Micro smiled and nudged the pup with his dose.’’
We shall call him seluk, and he will be a strong warrior and will
protect us when we can no longer fight and maybe just
maybe he will restore peace to our land. Mink smiled ‘’seluk
I like that’’ she replied. Suddenly the pup started to
squeak and wriggle. Micro placed his tail around
the pup and instantly the pup stopped and cuddled up.
Kiddie days
‘’Now seluk I am telling you once and you better get it right this time’’ micro moaned
Seluk just looked at his farther with a smile on this face, ‘’ ok daddy seluk giggled and then he
laughed and hopped off in the other direction. Micro flopped on the floor in disappointment.
Mink giggled and lay next to micro.’’ Be patient has just a pup let him live
his life young while he still can ‘’mink said.’’ I gess, it’s just I want him
to become a great warrior and make a difference ‘’he replied.
Mink just smiled at micro and he smiled back
Seluk jumped around from pebble to pebble trying his best to stay off the grass.
As he was about to make a huge leap for the biggest rock ever micro called out ’’
seluk where have you gone you rascal. Seluk was sad he didn’t want to train any
more but play instead so he ran into off towards the other dens .
Seluk found a small crack in the side of a large den so he quickly hid inside.
‘’ seluke come here now its getting late micro yelled but seluk carried
on crawling through the hole. As he reached the other side their in the centre
was the biggest wolf he had ever seen. The paws of the wolf where
even bigger that seluk shed, and one swipe could kill the pup instantly.
Seluk walked to the face of the creature and put his tiny paws on his muzzle.
The loud breathing of the warrior almost blew him away.
Seluk looked at the armour that the beast was wearing and its sharp edges
made seluke shake with fear. Suddenly the wolfs eyes opened and
he quickly raised his large head and smiled at the pup. ‘’and how did
you get here little one ‘’rayo said in a cheerful voice.
Seluke was shocked that the warrior in front of him was the one and only
great chief. He smiled ‘’sorry sure I’m hiding from daddy didn’t mean to
wake you’’Seluk giggled. ‘’Well don’t you think you’ll need to go
home soon it’s awfully late if you want ill walk you home, hey’’ rayo said.
Saluke smiled ‘’ yes yes yes please’ micro looked up to see the chief
walking up the bath with little seluk trotting along next to him.’’
I found this little fluff al hiding in my den thought id bring him home said Rayo.
Micro smiled ’’ thanks so much for bringing our baby back and
you seluk you get your cheeky little tail in the den you rascal’
Taking the blame
I was sleeping with sis next to mother and farther .their fur was so soft
and warm but I woke up when farther got up and walked to the entrance to the den.
I got up and ran over.’’Hey dads, are we going hunting’’
I said but farther just smiled and said nothing.’’Hummmm well can we go
kill some Kronadors’’ I said hoping for a haply, but silence.
I tilted my head to the floor and sighed.’’ seluk your just a pup
and your time will come when you will hunt our food and protect us
but you must be patient’’ he said still smiling. I wagged my tail
‘’yes and I’ll hunt food for you and mummy and protect us so you
and mum don’t need to go to battle anymore’’ I giggled.
Farther smiled and ruffled the fur on me head and I smiled back.
Suddenly a warrior ran over
‘’Micro, mink we need your help, a group have just come
from battle and are injured we need as much help as we can get to
help bring some wounded back to camp’’ mink woke up and
ran over, yes well come strait away’’ she said. I was scared but
mother Nuzzled be and told me to stay and take care of sister who
was still fast asleep. Then off they ran into the distance.
Right seluk you’re in charge now we gotta show daddy that were not pups
I said to my self. I sat at the entrance of the day when suddenly ‘’got ya’’
screamed my sis as she jumped onto my back. ‘’ hey that’s not funny I could
not hurt you ‘’ I said angrily. She giggled and hopped away.
’’ Hey seluk lets go out’’ she said and I shouted ‘’ no you know what
mother said we must stay here stupid’’. But like always she did not listen
‘’your it seluk’’ she giggled as she ran out of the den.
I was so scared, should I stay here like mum said or should or take care
of my sister like she said’’ . so I followed her. ‘‘Come back here ‘’ I yelled but
she didn’t listen .suddenly she disappeared. I could not see her any where.
‘’ hey where’d you do ‘come back’’.’’ Got ya ‘’ she said as she jumped onto my back again.
I looked at her angrily and she just smiled .for a minuet I was upset then
I started to laugh. We both laughed for a wile until sister stopped.
I looked at her and se was looking up behind me. I turned around to see
mother standing over me. She was angry and me and sis where scared.
When we got back to the den mother shouted at us both.
‘’how could you walk right out of the den when I told you to stay
here you stupid pups, warriors have just been injured and they are ten times
the size as you and they have trained all their life, what I you came across a kronadoor
it would have killed you’ she screamed. Sister started to cry and I could feel my eyes
watering. I looked at sis then said to mum ‘’ mother it’s not her fault its mine.
I went out and se followed me to bring me back to the den’’. I lowered my head and cried.
Mother looked at me then smiled ‘’ at least your ok ‘’ she whispered in my ear
Play time is over
Seluk woke up and stretched out his long dark legs.’’ It’s very hot to day isn’t it sis’’
he said as he yarned. She did not reply but when he turned around he saw her spread
out of the floor panting. He smiled ‘’ hey lets go get a drink ‘’ she trotted off
out the den entrance with his sister stumbling behind. As they arrived at the lake almost
every W.O.I pack was their fighting over space to drink. Seluk pushed and
shoved the wolves to help get his sister to the bank for a drink but the sharp armour of
some of the warriors jabbed into his side. When seluk finally reached the back and was
about to take a sip a loud roar .It was rayo and he did not look impressed.
‘’You selfish little pups, why fightover the water we have
there is plenty for everyone’’. Every thing
when silent and all the wolf’s where watching rayo.
‘’ now listenpups and mothers and elders drink first then the warriors and then every one else’’ he yelled.
‘’all the wolfs left the water and walked away and the pups and mothers came to drink.
Seluk and his sister didn’t more and carried on drinking. ‘’seluk you and your
sister are not pups any more so you will have to Waite’’ micro said as he looked down
at him. Seluk nodded and walked back to the den. later that day micro shouted seluk over ,
seluk jumped up and hopped over to his dad.’’ Now seluk we need to talk,
sleuk sat down as micro rambled on ‘’ so your getting to the age rwkffrj blahh
blahh blahhh bluhhh’’ seluk slowly turned his head and watched a small little butterfly
thing fluttering around. Seluk slowly stuck of into the long grass. Micro looked
town to find his son gone, but has he looked around he could see his tail
poking out of the grass. ‘’almost…. nearly got ya’’ seluk whispered as he jumped
through the air missing the fly and landing right in front of his dad. ‘’ seluk you need
to listen to me now, play time is over and we need you to grow up
so you can train to be the best’’ micro shouted at the little wolf .
seluk stood up with his tail between his legs and said ‘’yes farther I will’’
off to train
‘’Dad I just wanna sleep’’ seluk mumbled as he lay spread out of the floor. Micro stood over him with
a disgraced face and a small snarl. ‘‘Get up you childish pup it’s your fist day of training
and your already late’’micro roared. Seluk just roles his eyes and lay their. Micro stretched
out his paw and slammed it into the ignorant pup’s stomach. Seluk yelped and quickly got to his
feet with his tail between his legs ’’Seluk you need to respect me and your pack and
you need to learn our ways if you want to be respected’ micro said more calmly.
Seluk looked up and raised his head ‘’ohh ok dad im sorry ill listen.’’ Seluk said
. Mink came round the corner to the pup and dad. ‘’My babies growing up ‘’ she sweetly
said as she licked his cheek.’’Muuuuumm am not my baby ‘’ he groaned
as he rubbed his cheek. ‘‘you will always be my baby seluk’’ she
said as she went the give seluk another lick but he quickly scampered away
. mink looked at micro and licked his cheek ‘’ our baby is growing up ‘’
she whispered in his ear.
First day of training torture
I was so excited, my first day of training. I knew id be totally awesome and
every thing but as soon as I walked out my knees where shaking and the nerves hit.
So seluk you final decided to join us our tutor yelled across the field.
All of the young trainees turned around and looked at me.
Oh god I was so scared, so many eyes. ‘’yeh yes sir im here’’ I mumbled
under my breath.’’ SIT’’ she screamed. God he was so bossy why I would do
anything he wants. I did sit; I just stood and looked at her as if I had no idea what he
was saying. All the other wolfs giggled and smirked.’ well little pup are you
gunna sit of to I have to make you’ she growled. This time he scared me so I quickly sat’’.
’’So call we now have our class clown so well if we don’t have any more interruptions and
late arrivals well get started’’. So for like 10 hours tour tutor talked and talked about the
rules of the pack and the history of isket and the legends. I was soon sleepy and my head slowly nodded off.
I didn’t know I snored but apparently I do …. Very loud. ‘’Seluk you ignorant little
pup’’ the tutor screamed down my ear. I shot up and yelped .everyone was
stood around me and I was so embarrassed. ’’go home if anyone wants you there’’
she bellowed as I slowly walked away with my tail between my legs and head down.
As I got home mum and dad where not happy. After a few hours of yelling and arguing
and crying I lay out side the den looking at the stars.’’ if only you could speak stars and
tell me how you shine so bright, so I can shine to’’ I wisped but their
was no answer lay and thought for a wile of what my life would be like if I was
different. I thought to my self ‘’ I could be different but I don’t
want to be me and only me no matter if im not good enough for others’’ .
from then I made a vow that I will be my self but try to make an
effort and help people out a little.
So you can fight
It was the next day and my tutor thought I could have another go at training.
This time it was gunna be different, this time im gunna show my true potential.
’’ To day kids I want you to show me how you fight.’’ He said in
the nicest way I have ever herd form him, we all formed a circle and 2 wolfs
where chosen to battle. I was so exited to see some action finally.
‘’ so the rules are no claws and no teeth and absolutely no blood kids we
wasn’t to end this nicely’’ our tutor said ‘’ and now for our first contestants
humm seluk how about you ‘’ I was like what ‘’ no not me ill go next time’’
I said shaking me head.’’ No no seluk I insist oh and maybe your opponent can be me’’
I walked into the centre of the circle and gulped, he stood staring at
me then suddenly he ran at me so fast, I quickly shot out and but before I knew
it he came running again. As I jumped out the way again I noticed that he did the same
more and came running back and that’s when I saw my change, ‘’ common seluk
fight back’’ I he growled as he ran out at me. I quickly jumped out the way and
as he turned I leaped out and caught him with my paws on his throat and
he fell to the ground. Everyone gasped. ‘’ Ohh sir im sorry dude I didn’t mean in ‘’
I muttered an I quickly jumped of him ‘’ ha ha ha ha well done seluk well done’’
he giggled as he stood up . I was so proud with my self and I knew I
finally got to shine.
