whose woods these are I think I know
his house is in the village though
he will not see me stopping here
to watch his woods fill up with snow

the woods are lovely, dark and deep
but I have promises to keep
and miles to go before I sleep
and miles to go before I sleep

{ the tracker i want }
    #26 | The Swamp Cataclysm

{ his name }
    Schatysm

{ his nickname }
    Cat

{ the reason for my desire }
    This lovely, well he's quite the eye-catcher. I could imagine the tendrils of seaweed limply hanging off of his snout and spines as well clambered out of the muck. The way his eyes glow he could be a human helper; scouting the for mambas and the webbed paws could make him an independent search and rescue dog. His intellectual dynamics were simply radiating off of him in uneven waves, I just had to flatten these out. I had the urge to give him an interesting intelligence; an almost simply mind. The way the fine stripes on his body interconnect are simple, yet awe-inspiring for the story itself. The way the snake curls could have been something in the past; maybe a memory that recollected and transferred onto the skin? I have no idea; but the way this tracker introduced itself so extraordinarily complicated to me; it was an instant devotion to his complete story. Of course I won't give you the chapter story you dread; I'll give you a concise explanation to his past and entire life.

{ will he be in a story }
    Of course; without a story, my Tracker is just an irresponsible experiment, but with the complete interwoven details that are included in his story, he is the breed that is specifically controlled and includes his characteristically chosen training. The instincts of the tracker will be shown through in Schatysm's story.

{ his personality }
{ dauntless }
He is the exact definition of brave. His toleration for people is understated. He will serve humans to an extreme extent, because he has seen death, and is not willing to see the same. He will give up his own life, in order to save another. He would rather watch himself slip away, than his master.

{ careless }
He does not enjoy his attention slipped from one person, to another. He will only ever trust one human. His dormancy has caused him to underestimate humans' potential, and the first human he witnessed was so naive, yet their childhood was murderously slaughtered. He may never understand humans, but he will always aid them whenever they need his help.

{ unforgetful }
His mind, although it is set to a date in the past, will never forget any information. He will always remember a victim, or a convict, and even a certain tree or bush. His unmistakable face will turn criminals to mush. He never thinks twice, as he doesn't need to. He is always certain, and once he gets a glimpse of you, he will not resist to attack if you threaten him.

{ persevering }
With eyes like those, he is bound to be a nonstop warrior. His feet will turn up the soil as long as he has unfinished business. His spines will never burn out, his purpose is ceaseless, but ends abruptly, and with a knowing sense that he's accomplished what he was supposed to do.

{ write an introduction }:

The sparse threads of light that were immediately detected through my sensors awoke my deepened sleep. Even though my eyes were open, the only bits of glitter I could see were illegible, and I felt as though I have been blinded. My legs were forever locked in the same position; I was unable to move and was seeking a way of freedom. But then I felt it. The assuring touch of a child calmed my agitated nerves, and I cleared my head, waiting for what would come.

A few minutes later, I found that a young human was wiping away the thick layers of muck on my optic sensors. I could see the thin, pink handkerchief they used, and then their fair, naive smile. In their hands they held a food substance, and in the other, a rock they recently used to free my ears from dirt. My jaws cracked open, and loosened the dried rock that crusted around my mouth. I then twitched my ears, but they produced an immense chipping sound, which caused the child's eyes to widen. I could sense the wave of panic that consumed them as I heard the march of what sounded like stones on pavement. I was slightly confused when they concealed me once again with dirt, but I stood there as the child packed up the leaves, and just left one of my optics open to the sunshine.

They whispered something in the unusual tongue of their language unknown to me, but the heartfelt and concerned feelings were mostly felt. They left the small food bar on the ground, as if an offering; and then sorted through their bag. They were distracted as the gift was ruined by a menacing boot; which belonged to another human. The instant swirl of feelings which erupted from the child were as if something screeched in my ear. I felt compelled to be by the child's side, to protect them, but my legs were still frozen in their lying position.

The large man gestured to the child, and a smaller group of men came from the sides and overwhelmed the child. I heard the cries of pain as they sedated the child, and then the unusually motionless breath that quickly came from it. Within a few moments it was over; they had carried away the child, and I was left alone once more. Fortunately, my jaws and ears were still mobile, and I had worked hard to free myself all the while the attack took place. But now, all that I wanted to do was be by that same child, to comfort them and be their eternal companion. But here I was still, gnawing at the surrounding dirt, using my strong tongue to push away the earth.

I must find her.

A few days later I could finally feel the effects of awakening take place. The steaming sound of the hydraulics shifting and the cool rush of liquids coursing from mechanical organs were all together overwhelming. With the constant and quick pace of my database pouring out information, I decided to take a nap; but my optics twitched excessively and I couldn't get a grip on sleeping. Thank goodness there are animals and changing seasons to keep my mind busy.

Unfortunately, I saw another human just a few hours after the moon rose. The confused emotions that ribboned off of him was something that I hadn't witnessed before. He wore something of military status, but my database hasn't yet uploaded all of the needed information for these lifeforms yet, so I wasn't sure. I acknowledged the fact that he had a weapon attached to his belt, but he didn't seem like he would be using it for harm, merely protection. I felt like I had conquered my fears of humans, yet at the worst time, my autonomous generator decided to short out, causing my legs to kick out and run full force at the man.

His shrill bark was loud enough to override my motors with curiosity, and I stared at him while he was sitting in the muck. He looked up after dusting himself off, and he couldn't stop staring at me. I felt like my legs were locking up again, so I stretched out, until there were no more stones or dirt to block my movements. Surprisingly, he called out a word, in a questioning sort of demeanor, which I understood as "cat". I walked towards him, and placed a paw on his knee, not sure of what else to do. His blue eyes poured out unconditional love, but then something glittering just beyond his vision caught my eye. It was the wrapper to the food bar the child had earlier.

I jumped off of his shoulder and cautiously approached the object. Sniffing in the weaved scents, I sorted out a single, rich, and monotonous tone. It had a slight tang to it, what smelled like soap and food, and something I recognized as a domestic animal. The man, with shaking hands scrabbled at the little bit of wrapper, and wiped off some of the dirt. He then read the writing on it, and looked at me with eyes, tears rising to the surface. He then grabbed my face in his raucous hands, and looked me in straight in the optics. I felt the surge of pain, trust, and intensity churn in his heart.

My purpose was set. I was to find his daughter.

WHAT THE SHIZZ I DON'T WANT TO WRITE A NOVEL D:<
-turns down writing intensity-
that's better.

Tracker Dog Application Series 8
Username: Star Russell
Tracker Dog you want: #24
Name you'll give it: Neptune
Reason why you want it: First of all, his markings are beautiful. It reminds me of space, or the night sky. Another reason is he glows at night when he finds something, giving him a specal unique talent. And being a "night owl" he tracks at night, when most tracking skills are needed (criminals).

Will it be used in any kind of story?: Maybe, not sure (if the introduction counts as a story, then yes :3)
Describe its personality: Neptune is a talented tracker. His space-like coat gave him his name, Neptune, the name of a blue planet. He enjoys the night, cool air, dark places and peace and quiet, but he knows, even with the tiniest sound of distress, when something is wrong. He would spring into action to help. His favourite thing to do when he isn't hunting down criminals or helping people who need his trackng skills, is to spend time with his owner, Star (my fursona-shes a dog but in human form in this). They like to go to the park and play a good game of fetch.

Write an introduction for your Tracker: Neptune walked through the park, with his owner and best friend, Star. Suddenly, a noise peirced the silent night. Neptune prickerd up his ears. "What's the matter boy?" asked Star "Someone in trouble?". Of course Star couldn't hear the faint noise. Neptune ran, as fast as his legs could go, to the noise. Star chased after him. Nepune was agile, and leaped swiftly over bushes, weaved inbetween trees and crawled under logs, before finally reaching the noise. Star caught up with him, breathing deeply, out of breath. "Oh!" said Star in surprise.

That is a good idea... well I have never written on my own before. I have bad dyslexia so words get confused in my head a lot... so normally I have my boy friend help but I am trying to do it on my own and failing XD

Nex, I'm dropping out. ): I simply cannot relate to the first tracker. His markings are beautiful, but I can't really feel the same flame of determination I felt with all the others I tried for.
im basically never on, so if you wanna with trade me or if you message me, be prepared to wait a while for a response. this account is first and foremost a personal archive for sentimentality's sake as it was a big part of my childhood.
