Pet's ID Tag: Number 27
Name You'd Choose for It: Chiron "Sagittarius"
Gender: Male
Reason You Want It: I love, love, love his design. I'm a sucker for monochrome colors and I was actually hoping Lihmeth would make monochrome colored designs when she said she was donating a few characters. I love draft horses as well, so Chiron is absolutely perfect. Also, he would fit in perfectly with a plot I'm planning and I think he would be a great addition. I would love to draw him too and of course I would order art of him.
History/Background/Other:Name: Chiron, but he is the constellation known as Sagittarius.
Nicknames: None
Age: He's immortal, but he will always be in the physical state of a twelve year old stallion.
Gender: Male
Species: Shire Draft Horse
Relationship status: Single, not entirely interested in a reltionship
Offspring: None
Location: His location changes fairly often, but he seems to have taken a liking to the Milky Way galaxy. He is seen around Earth most of the time when he's not protecting other planets and galaxies.
Family and Friends:Right now his friends are Lexac and Astraea, they have yet to find the other guardians
He doesn't even know if he has any family.
Likes: Chiron loves history with a passion. Mostly because it refreshes his knowledge and helps him discover more than he had thought possible. He loves to read, as he was gifted with advanced intelligence, but alas he cannot read anymore since the invention of books. He can't open them or turn the pages with his hooves. So instead, he likes to listen to stories about history to satisfy himself with more knowledge. He loves the night, which doesn't seem to be a problem since he lives in space where it is constantly nighttime. He also has a fondness of stars as he finds them to be very beautiful and he loves the fact that was honored with the privilege to be placed among the stars by Zeus himself.
Dislikes: Chiron hates others being hateful and torturous to fellow beings. He finds it unnecessary and just plain wrong. He also doesn't like war, unless the war is against a vicious and dangerous monster of mythical being as that is what he trains his heroes to do. It drives him crazy if someone gives out false information about history because he would most likely already know the correct facts, and he always has the urge to correct such mistakes. Chiron doesn't enjoy going on vacations as he feels he would be slacking on his job. He also really hates it when Astraea forces him to take a break from work.
Personality: Chiron has a kind and caring soul. He's usually very calm and he does not get anger easily, but he gets annoyed quite often. He's a total workaholic and hates taking breaks from his job of protecting the universe, so Astraea has to force him to go on a short vacation once in a while. He's very wise and trustworthy, so he's naturally very good at giving advice and tips. He is full of knowledge, so he has the answer of almost any question. He's incredibly loyal as well and will help and protect a friend though thick and thin. He'll help anyone really, even if he had just me them, unless he senses they have a evil and black soul. Chiron often performs random acts of kindness for others, but only if he deems them worthy, which doesn't happen as much ever since Earth had become corrupt. The only thing he can absolutely cannot tolerate is anyone tormenting and torturing with his buddies and he will usually bring down a great force of punishment onto whoever is doing the disgraceful deed.
I am the kindness, the knowledge, and the wisdom guiding you through life.A deafening boom sounded in the distance of the pitch black universe. There was not a single star nor planet in the vast frontier of nothingness. Until another boom sounded and a rush of ungodly force pushed out of the ball of mass forming in the center. Shards of energy and light shattered and spread apart forming the twinkling stars of the night sky. The empty, dark universe was illuminated; becoming less cold and lonely. Giant hunks of minerals and rocks were hurled in every possible direction; serving as the homes for future life forms. The looming stars pulled at the floating chunks of rock and the planets started to follow the path of the star. Wherever the giant ball of energy went, the planets would always be moving in an endless circle around the star. Large individual clumps of stars were starting to form, the galaxies. In the center of these galaxies, monstrous holes began tearing the fabric of the universe, sucking in everything in its path. They started destroying the light and creation, thus the guardians of the universe were chosen. The twelve chosen warriors were to keep peace and order to the universe and stop the black holes from swallowing the whole existence of life. The universe was in need of leaders and protectors and thus, the gods were created.
[Chiron's PoV]
I can remember the earlier days just like it was yesterday. I remember all of the now fallen heroes and heroines, who'd noble acts saved our world. Of course I would know, I was the one who taught them and guided them. The were my pupils and I was the mentor. I was also like a caring guardian and friend, making sure the were safe and happy. But ever since I died and became a guardian, I have nobody to teach. Well, except for maybe Lexac, he definitely has a lot to learn. I miss the older days when there were monsters to face, not black holes and comets. When there were beautiful new places to explore, not barren and lifeless planets to protect. And I can't ever return to Earth, that planet has become a terrible place. Even Astraea left when the last glimmer of innocence disappeared. I just wish everything could go back to how it was before, when everything was perfect and each second could take your breath away. I just wish I could go back.
Suddenly, I was hurled into some bright hole or other. Everything was swirling around me as I just let the current take me, dazed. I was spit out into some sunny and bright place. All around me there were beautiful temples and architecture, and I watched the people go on about their daily business. Wait, they don't look like the modern people of Earth. And those buildings look extremely familiar. Dammit, Astraea probably heard the wishful thinking again. I looked up to the sky and called "Astraea, I told you to stop reading my thoughts. Next time, would you mind not sending be back in time?" I heard a faint giggle reply to my rant and a voice that no doubt belonged to Astraea replied "But isn't this what you wanted, silly? I took you back just like you said. And now you're going to relive your history. But don't worry. I only took you back to when Hercules was your student. Won't that be fun? You get to relive your past, right until the moment you die and Zeus placed you among the stars." Damn she talked a lot.
"Fine, whatever Astraea. Just don't do this again please?" I asked with a hint of annoyance in my voice.
"Sure, sure, but after this you'll be begging me to send you back again." I just sighed as she took on her visible form and took off for space while I was stuck here to relive my past. Only question is, what will they do with me gone?
I wandered around the busy city of what I assumed to be Athens. I was looking for the forest in which I taught fighting tactics and techniques, it should be around here somewhere. If I can remember correctly, it was just outside of Athens, or was that Delphi? Whatever, I'm pretty sure it's Athens. As I searched for this forest, I realized the people walking by were giving me strange looks. Oh yeah, a grey horse walking around with strange markings would probably cause those looks. I shifted into my intangible form, which makes be turn invisible. Finally I found the forest after a few hours of craning my neck around every corner and searching every possible space. I cantered into the magical forest, but I stopped dead in my tracks as I heard hoof beats that weren't mine. Great, just great. Astraea chose to send me back when I got shot with the arrow. Well, I'd better prepare myself for a world of hurt.
All of a sudden, I felt a sharp object slice through my leg. I cringed as the poison started to sting my injured leg. It hurt so much dammit. I wished I could die right there on the spot, but of course I couldn't, I was immortal. I fell to the ground as my leg went numb and gave in to gravity. A large bay horse came trotting by as it was pulled to a halt by a muscular young man.
"Chiron? Is that you!?" I heard Hercules exclaim in surprise as he recognized me.
"Yeah. You seemed to have shot my leg with your arrow, stupid." I looked up at him as his face was genuinely worried.
"I have to help you. I can't let you suffer like that." Hercules looked down at my leg, which was gushing out blood by now.
"Well, you won't be able to heal it, you have no idea how." I could just barely say as the pain grew greater and greater. Hercules started to panic as he knew he couldn't heal it as well.
"I know! I'll go on an adventure to find the cure!" Hercules hopped on his horse and rode away towards Athens while I was left in his dust. Stupid young boy. Adventures won't solve everything.
I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it.
