The mute Ahzenai watched as people approached her, attempted to woo her, and then left again. She nuzzled appreciatively at the gifts she received and nodded politely at those who spoke to her. She was surprised; she had expected the suitors to be much more overbearing in their woos. However, it was the final performance that invited the Ahzenai to stand up. The person did not speak or write, but used her feet to etch her story into the soft earth. The mute stood up during the performance to better see the markings in the ground. When the person had finished, the Ahzenai studied the markings. There were arcs, footprints, waves... It was not a language (nothing as complex as that), but the markings as well as the motions of the person seemed to convey a message, a feeling to the viewer. The Ahzenai placed her forepaw in one of the footprints. Her huge feline paw easily covered the entire impression. She peered at the person, then began her own dance.

This was not nearly as complex as that of her suitor. Just a few simple spins and soft lines in the dirt with broad sweeps of her tail. She was grateful to have found this person. That was all she wanted to convey. The Ahzenai stopped in front of her new companion, gently sitting herself down. Looking at the person in the eye, she tilted her head downward and placed a paw on her chest, as if to ask, "What will you call me?"

Omigosh thank you so much, Perditio Noctis! I seriously just silently geeked out a bit in my room.

Brief Acceptance Story:
I watched with my heart beating in excitement as the Ahzenai rose to her feet. She stepped forward and placed a single paw overtop of my footprint.

She had chosen me.

I literally held my breath, not believing what I was seeing as she spun gracefully, speaking in her own way. She stopped in front of me and settled down. Without making a sound, she bowed her head and placed a paw on her chest.

I was waiting for this. With a single finger, I traced into the ground that had come to me, inspired by this Ahz's great serenity.

I might do all, I might do one. I'll pick designs that I think I can do the best. And I now have my tablet back. 8DD I'd like a healthy mix of customs and MALs, but I won't argue if I have ten for one and two for the other. xP
