Thank you all so much for helping us Squinx in our mission to find a new source of gemstones for our children and their families to follow. You all didn't know us before, but still you went out of your way to do everything in your power to help us. I think it's safe to say we misjudged you humans, and because of that many of my kin are planning trips to the Main Land to seek out new homes among you.

With all the gems returned to us, we've managed to track down a new cavern where most of them originated. It's no quarry, but it's a start, and it will provide us with gemstones for years to come. For that, I thank you all personally.

Other: Rain, the most courageous Squitten of his own home, is absolutely sure that he'll find something!


Rain was determined to find gems for the Squinx, and ventured down a tunnel that looked as if it had been disused for years. He came to a fork -- the left tunnel had a narrow entrance but echoed as if it got wider down the line, the right tunnel had a wide entrance but you could see it get narrower and narrower. Which should they go down?



Rain staggers and flops onto his belly as his paws meet the solid ground of the mainland. He somehow completely lost track of time. He figured out that he didn't even fit into the left tunnel at all, and when he tried the right tunnel he couldn't squeeze past the end of it. As he walked back along the cave's main river, he heard the squeak of a squirrel in distress. He rescued this little purple fellow and flew them back home to meet his friends. Which was a much longer flight than he thought. He's exhausted, but happy his courage made a difference for someone.



Viridian- And that my friends, is the very last prize of the Forgotten Friends saga.
