Rah Woos Ciinak

AhnenRah was bored, and slightly tired of his pampered lifestyle. He couldn't tell Bast... she wouldn't understand. This was an emperor thing. After a few moments of thinking, he decided to take a break from being perfect. He would just sneak away for awhile... Bast would never know.

Rah kept down the hallway silently, looking back with wide eyes like a puppy that knows it's doing something wrong. As he escaped out of the luxurious tent where he and Bast stayed, he let out a sigh of relief and pranced off, puffing out his chest and strutting like something special towards the vortex.

Bast watched as Rah left with an eyebrow raised. Like he could really pull anything over her. But she shook her head and let him go on his "adventure".

Rah pushed through the throngs of people by the vortex. This part of the cave was a maze of tents, strange items, and accents that cluttered the air. AhnenRah spotted Carora and Uralon across the way and veered off- he still hadn't forgiven them for tricking him into giving Carora his kitten. As he tried to move past, Uralon caught his eye and winked, then lifted up a small orange tabby. Carora turned to see who Uralon had spotted, and Rah winced and tried to escape back into the crowd. He continued on his way to the vortex; Bast had informed him that a new Ahz had appeared yesterday, and Rah was excited to meet him. But upon arrival, the vortex was largely deserted except for Aki and Loch who were studying the vortex and fiddling with small instruments. Loch was the first to notice him as Aki was completely absorbed in her work and he waved and elbowed Aki. She jerked back to reality, her pretty blue eyes blinking in confusion.
"Oh hello AhnenRah!" she chirped, "I haven't seen you in awhile. Where is Bast?"
Rah shuffled his feet a bit and replied, "I'm afraid I don't know. She must be off somewhere. Do you meet the new Ahz?"
"Oh no, Loch and I were far to busy observing and recording readings on the vortex's enhanced activity to mingle with new Ahz. I do think he went that way though" Aki told him, pointing with one delicate paw.
"Thanks Aki, bye Loch"
and then Rah strutted off again.

As Rah went the direction the Aki pointed, he saw glowing orange eyes watching him. Vassilies appeared out of the shadows, and dark menace in her beauty and her tail lashing from side to side. Her low hypnotizing voice wound around him.
"Hello my lovely royal. What are you doing out of your safe house?"
With her eyes watching him through slits, Rah felt trapped in a spidersweb.
"I'm looking for the new Ahz." He managed to squeeze a meager amount of authority in his voice and asked, "Have you seen him?"
Vassilies lazily slinked around Rah, keeping him spinning in circles.
"I may have, what's it to you?"
"My appreciation?"
Vassilies laughed.
"Right lover, thats not the answer I was looking for. Try again."
Rah picked his favorite pebble from between his pawpads and tossed it to her. It glinted softly in the shadows. Vassilies studied it for a moment and shrugged.
"I'll take it. The new Ahz is right there" and she pointed at a spot about thirty feet away where a glossy gray Ahz sat happily eating french fries off the ground, surrounded by a small group of entralled wooers.
Rah smacked his face and moved towards the group before Vassilies could capture him in her gaze again.

Rah scooted his way through the wooers until he was in the front of the little group.
"Hello Ciinak" Rah began, remembering the name from Bast. "I am Rah and you look like a fellow that knows how to survive anywhere. I live in luxury, but it has gotten dull and I would like a change. Perhaps you would like to accompany me on a trip to the major cities of Earth? Paris, Rome, New York, Hong Kong, and the others? I would need a companion on my trip, and Bast will refuse to leave her friends I know. So maybe I could persuade a street-smart Ahz like you to travel with myself?"
Rah glanced around and grabbed a bag of chips out of a young boy's hands.
"Here, have some chips, Chiinak, while you consider my generous offer of friendship. I would very much enjoy having you along. Although, maybe, a shower before we leave?"


A Note: AhnenRah is very egocentric, but he is working on it- that woo was very difficult for him, because he is not used to having to beg for things. But he does quite like the rough and tumble, dirty Ciinak XD

I was back in Ahzen again. But this time I was NOT solo.. Reeves and Sererak beg for me to take them along. Well it was mostly Reeves doing the begging and pleading. We made are way into Ahzen. My eye's journeyed around the room. I seen many faces with a unpleasant look.. Even Valcyon had the look. I wondered why all the vulgar faces in till I heared Sererak spit out the word " Eww.. " I followed her eye's over to an Ahzenai eating left over french fries someone had dropped on the ground. I laughed and said to Sererak " What? You never heard the 2 day rule? " Sererak gave me a disgusted look. Reeves like most all the time was in his on world. I looked at him and smiled warmly. " Come on guys lets greet him! " Reeves jumped but started following me over to met Chiinak. Sererak tho sat and boycotted the idea. " Come on Sererak, it's not going to kill you to be nice.. You never know, you might like him if you get to know him. " Sererak growled and muttered out " FINE.. " Reeves already made his way over to Chiinak. But ran back when he seen I was not right behind him.
I walked over to him and greeted him. " Hello.. " Reeves crouched behind me peeking through the space between my legs. He Chirped on and off. Sererak cleared her throat and said " Hi there. " I found this to be no use to talk to Chiinak when he was cramming his face with spoiled old fries. So I backed up and so did Reeves with every steep I took. I pulled out my back a ham sandwich and chips I packed. " Hey Chiinak wanna bite? " I to a pause then added " I'll give it to you if join me and the chips. It's fresh and hand made. Mmm! Sounds good to me. " I winked at him. Sererak nodded agreeing with me and Reeves spoke up and pepped out " IT IS!!! Momma Chicken M-Makes the best! " His orange eyes brighten and he watched Chiinak. " So what do you say Chiinak? Do you want it? " I asked and started slowly backing away to see if he would follow me.

Oh question! Is there a limit how 'long' a woo's supposed to be for a returning Ahz? If yes, how long? o.O
