Dawn watched Valakin. Becuase of how he had been treated, it seemed as though he didn't have a heart. This interested her, very greatly. Her beach blonde hair swirled behind her in the air, and she began to follow Valakin, curiousity shining in her stormy grey eyes. She took careful steps, as though the ground was made of glass. She glanced up the rock spire towering above her. She stepped up it, with airless steps.

"Hello." She greeted Valakin calmly, softly. She sat down a few feet from him, crossing her legs 'criss cross apple sauce.' "Im Dawn. You are Valakin. I understand that the humans from the real world invaded your space. They seperated you from your twin, Vitaloney." Dawn knew alot about Ahzen, and the Ahzenai that came out of the Vortex. She tilted her head. "They were un-fair. They should have kept you together. If it were me, I would have brought you both home, given Vitaloney a life of luxury. You, the same." She paused, to take a breath.

"I understand that you have been mis-treated. I understand that you hate all humans. I believe I could change your thoughts about the humans that treated you wrong, seperated you from your sibling, took you away. If you'd join me in my home, I would show you that some humans are good. I am one." She stood up, uncrossing her legs, and instead crossing them at her ankles as she stood. "I will be at the tree near the bottom of this rock. Please, think about my offer." The entire time she spoke, her voice was calm and patient. She continued back down the spiraling rock, waiting at the bottom of the tree. She sat down again, re-crossing her legs. She leaned her head back against the bark, humming softly to herself. She felt confident, that she had done well.



Sum up why you want this Ahzenai: I love Valakin's colors, I like them much more than Pink and Black. And his personality... just... in an odd way, it makes me very interested in him.

"I have decided to choose a companion. Those of you who think you are worthy enough may attempt to follow, but i can guarantee it will not be easy. If your a human, you have no chance with me."

Gali watched after Valakin with concerned purple eyes. She had been watching him since he had emerged from the vortex. Her vacation to Ahzen would soon be coming to a close, and no other Ahz had caught her eye except him. Valakin. Angry, resentful, even hateful, but underneath everything she knew he had a heart of gold. He just needed someone to bring it out. The wolf hybrid female stood from where she had been sunning herself on a flat rock and stretched. She looked at the other suitors all crowded around the vortex, watching the newest Ahz make its entrance. 'Now would be best,' she thought. Gali quickly trotted off, her large paws silent on the ground as she followed his scent. Looking up, she saw him lying alone on the top of the Skyrock, she called it, looking out over Ahzen.

Silently and nimbly she wound her way up to where he was, her blue mottled coat shining in the afternoon sunlight. Her muscles were well used to this kind of exercise, and she reached the top easily and quickly. "Valakin," she greeted him, her soft melodical voice respectful. "May I speak?" She asked, then continued on at his short nod. "My name is Gali," she began. "I heard you were going to take a companion." She said. "I wanted to offer you my home to also be yours. It's a quiet mountain retreat where no humans dare come during the long winters. In the summers it's comfortable and beautiful, and the few humans that do come by are easily scared off."

Gali paused for a moment. "I know how you feel towards humans," she spoke softly, her purple eyes looking at the ground as she moved to sit beside him, her abnormally long tail curling delicately around her front paws. "I was created in a lab and experimented on all throughout my early years. Eventually I was rescued by an animal abuse organization, and registered to be placed in a zoo. A zoo!" She sighed disgustedly. "But I was smart. The cage was simple and weak. I escaped and ran, moving from place to place until I found where I am now. They're cruel and greedy, mean two legged demons. Others from the forest tell me some are different, but I don't hold that hope. I prefer them to stay away, and they do. The forest is peaceful and quiet."

She slowly turned to look at him. "I know you're angry and hurt, and thats understandable. I want you to know, when I say 'I understand', they aren't just empty words," she said. "But I know this isn't you. Underneath everything you're so much more than petty vengeance. I know that, and I can prove to you the you are. Your sister chose her own path, and in my opinion, if it doesn't involve you, then she's the loser here. Not you. And if you do choose me, then I know I can prove that to you," she whispered, touching her nose lightly to his shoulder. "If you need me, I'll be by the lake on the flat sunning rocks," she murmured and stood, slowly and gracefully descending the spire and gliding back to her rock, lying down slowly and resting her head on her paws. She hoped he chose her, but she understood if he didn't. She sighed quietly as the last rays of sun disappeared beyond the horizon, closing her eyes and imagining what could be.

Sum up why you want this Ahzenai:
For one I do not have an Ahz yet, and the mix of his colors and personality made me immediately fall in love. Just the hurt anger matches the mottled reds and blacks of his coat, and he is the exact opposite of my wolf character Gali, who would be his companion and possibly mate. (I have her drawn on paper, but if you'd like to see her I can do a quick color here on the Oekaki forums.)

Valakin Let out a low growl, Humans had corrupted Ahzen and now now they had done the unthinkable. They had stolen the only thing he had ever held dear to him, his twin sister. He let out a low roar of pain. The Battle was lost, but not the War, he could rebuild the resistance, but he could not go at it alone. Shaking with anger he rose to his paws, he pushed his way through a group of humans, he stopped turning to address the crowd that populated Ahzen.
" I have decided to choose a companion. Those of you who think you are worthy enough may attempt to follow, but i can guarantee it will not be easy."
He turned and began to trot up a dusty forest path, but paused turning back to the crowd.
"Oh, if your a human, you have no chance with me."
He swished his tail in minor contempt and continued trotting up the path. Soon he came a well enough obstacle, the tallest rock spire in all of the new Ahzen. Due to his size he effortlessly bounded up the side of the spire, and settled on the flat plateau at its top.

Short summary of personality:
Devious, rash, and fierce. His opinions on things are not changed lightly. He is a skilled fighter, and a well worded manipulator, who hates all humans.

Valakin is Vitaloney's twin. This means they both came from the vortex at the same time.

Valakin has a many stories about him, he is also a character in a story that Demotivated_Bear is writing. If you win please let me know if you would prefer him taken out of the stories.

Clue scraped one of her claws against a rock making an odd scree noise, a grin fell upon her face as she watched humans turn and flash glares at her as the clambered towards a ahzenai that had come from the vortex. She jumped onto a rock and watched, slightly curious. Once humans came up to the ahzenai which Clue had been watching she stood and her back bristled, a deep growl managed to escape her throat, "disgusting!" she spat and jumped down from the rock.

Clue couldn't help but notice a roar come from an ahzenai that was behind her. She turned and followed his gaze to the humans, she slightly came closer to hear what he was saying. " I have decided to choose a companion. Those of you who think you are worthy enough may attempt to follow, but i can guarantee it will not be easy." She watched him head up a path when he turned back and said "Oh, if your a human, you have no chance with me."

Clue was now interested in this particular ahzenai, it was quite hard to find animals or creatures that didn't like humans. She watched him go up some rocks until he reached the highest point. She considered herself "worthy of following" so she decided to also go up the rocks in which the ahzenai had went. She jumped from rock to rock as she went up, she had done this twice now to speak to an ahzenai, but she had failed to woo the other and determination now poured over her in waves.

She finally reached Valakin, she was slightly out of breath but not enough to really consider herself as tired. Clue kept a respectful distance as she sat at the top where Valakin sat. She blinked once, not too much came to her mind to say but she was prideful and was quite intent on not running out of words to say, to at least summon enough words to complete this woo. Clue was silent for a bit and then spoke, "Hello Valakin, I am Clue" after a brief pause she continued "I couldn't possibly help myself but to follow you for your personality strikes me. A passionate hate towards humans, rather faithful to your decisions... quite close to my own thoughts and such"

After a long moment of silence Clue started once again and said "Valakin, I would be honored to join you as a companion.... but do as you wish, for I cannot control your mind" she dipped her head and bounded down the rocks. She pushed through the crowd of humans, biting a few ankles as she went. After reaching a spot away from the humans she settled down and waited for the reply of Valakin.



Sum up why you want this Ahzenai:
I love his design! But what most strikes me is his personality is almost exact to my fursona, Clue's, personality. They both hate humans, skilled in battle and almost Never give up on a decision? Pure awesome.

The vortex continued on in its typical lazy swirl, paying no mind to the wishes of the suitors that littered Ahzen. Through some unknown force it felt that it was time to create a new Ahzenai and so it began to pick of speed, its brightness increasing with each full spin.

Zisis pounced from the vortex as it reached its brightest point. Her eyes were bright as she took in the sights of Ahzen. She closed her eyes and inhaled the smell of the fresh clean leaves and the soil that not covered the cave. When she opened her eyes she glanced around at the various suitors and seemed to deliberate on whether or not to pick one.

"Oh alright." she conceded to herself, "I guess I'll see what's up."

She trotted across the small land bridge that lead from the vortex to the main land, and paced around the forest. It wouldn't hurt to do some minor exploring while she waited for the suitors to approach her, she thought

He sat on on the floor, leaning against a trunk of a tree as he messed with a fallen leaf. His hair falling over his eyes, getting him slightly annoyed as he moved it back out of the way. A sigh escaped from him as he looked around.
He had come to Ahzen searching for a companion to join him on his hiking trips around the land. He also wanted one to help him keep himself company on his lonely nights under the stars. Yet after being in Ahzen for a couple of months, he had been unsuccessful. All of the Ahzenai had chosen others to join and be companions with. At this point he had been beginning to believe he just wasn't good enough for any of them, and he knew he probably wasn't. All of the Ahzenai were strong, couragous, beautiful, swift, cunning, the list was never-ending for him. He was a simple teenager that was nothing more than curious in his eyes.
He slowly looked up as he saw the figure of an Ahzenai, one he had never seen before in Ahzen. This had to be a new Ahzenai that must of emerged from the Vortex not to long ago. A small smile appeared on his face as he watched her pass by him. Seeing that she was going on a little stroll. There weren't many people trying to persuade her to be their companion. Maybe I may actually have a chance. He thought to himself as he slowly stood up and began to follow after her. Hearing from a few others that her name was Zisis. Soon he was right beside the magnificent Ahzenai. Noticing her patterns that layed on her back and went down to her legs and tail. Also noticing that they somewhat resembled butterflies, to him anyway. He also saw that she had one of these markings on each side of her eyes. Her horns being curled instead of the regular straight ones he mostly saw on every Ahzenai he layed eyes on.
"Hi Zisis, I'm Joseph. I hope I haven't interupted you while you look around Ahzen. Anyway it is very nice to finally see a Ahzenai with curled horns, they are very lovely," he told her as he patted one lightly. Hoping she didn't mind this though." Sorry of you don't like anyone touching your horns. If you wish we could go looking around later together, or stay up and look at the stars later tonight, either one is fine with me. I'll be going now though, so that you can continue on with your exploration and so others can come and chat with you." He said as he smiled a goodbye and turned back around. Heading over towards a slightly small boulder. Leaping onto it as he sat. Still having a smile on his face as he sighedin content. Hoping that that had been enough to intrige Zisis slightly to be his companion.

The blinding light bickers down from the Vortex, there emerges different Ahzenia that has many color coat and personality. At that moment hearing the humans in awe to the sight of the Ahzenia made me sick as to most where the greedy and cruel begins.

As I trotted through the crowd of humans and Ahzenia, one individual Ahzenia caught my eyes. He was very noticeable due to his painful roar that touches my heart, at that moment I knew he was different than the other Ahzenia that was there at that time. He brush threw the crowd announcing, “I have decided to choose a companion. Those of you who think you are worthy enough may attempt to follow, but i can guarantee it will not be easy. If you’re a human, you have no chance with me." From what he just announces he had some painful issues involving with those merciless and greedy humans. The painful throbbing in my heart began as it reminds me of my own past with the humans.

I wasted no time as I followed him to the spire. I approached him slowly watching his reactions.”Valakin I am here to discuss with you about your announcement you did a while ago. I am Paladin and as you can see I am no human.”As I introduced myself I showed him my lower eyes under my main one. As he sat there looking at me his eye felt like he could see through me and there was nowhere to hide. “I know how you feel those emotion that wells up inside. It overwhelms me when it was still fresh as it still lingers to me. I know there is another side to you then just Revenge.” As I spoke to him my eyes did not look anywhere else.

“My siblings were hunted by the humans as they consider it a sport.” By the last word I had spoken I had a slight growl as it made me boil inside from that agony. I slowly circled him as I spoke. “I can fill that void of yours and accompany you with your own goals that you want to carry out as I have mine that still needs to be finished.” I paused for a brief second and then I continued. “You can test my strength to see if I am worthy of your time.”I said with a smirk on my face.


Sum up why you want this Ahzenai:
His personality is what caught my eyes the most beside is variation color coat.A very unique character which I don't see too often with revenge in mind while begin a very good manipulator.As I read the small intro I was taken in by his situation and able to understand how he felt and I instantly fell in love with him.
I have been lurking through the thread for quite a while and wanted one but I wanted to make sure if I really want to commit to something like this and now my decisions is made up. I will also be drawing him with my character that is use in here often but I will role play if I get the chance too if I get him.

I stalked up on the fast, vile creature. It fluttered around like it was the king of the world, but I knew I could snap its pretty little wings right off of its back.

The butterfly quarreled around my head, landing on me with pride and temptation, Get off! Get off! I thought, half-wishing people could understand me. We -- meaning Razz, Oelaer, and me -- were wondering in this weird place called "Ahzen" where these huge creatures roamed effertlessly through trees and the big Vortex.

I padded along solemnly towards Valcyon. I had been waiting for what seemed like ages to meet him! "Hello! Hello!" I wished I could say, but all that came out was "Rawr." Why couldn't people just listen more closely... One thing I had learned, though, was that there was a way that I could talk to Ahzenai creatures! Oelaer was petting me up in the sycamore, and I wanted to tell him thank you. Then, he murmured "You're welcome"! I was amazed... He understood me through my thoughts. I wonder if it would work with Valcyon...?

Just then massive beams of light peirced my eyes, blinding me for a short second. A long, pink, elegant Ahzenai emerged -- as they always did -- and went out towards the woods. "VITANI!" someone yelled. Great.

Razz came bounding towards me, and my paws seemed frozen to the lush green ground. What did she want now? "Vitani! Look! Zisis!" she pointed towards the she-Ahz and grinned. "I'm going to go woo her! So stay with Oelaer, would you?" she said, hopeful.

Why did I always have to stay behind? It wasn't fair... Oelaer got to go! I wasn't gonna let Razz get away with this. Oelaer wasn't looking, so it was perfect! As soon as Razz turned her back, I dashed off with my fur on end. It was always exciting to escape and hide, and this time... I was on a mission!

I took one last glance at Razz and Zisis and scrambled off after them. My paws thundered across the squishy moor, then I leapt up atop of Zisis's back, purring delicately. Hello, pinky. I thought, now knowing she could fully understand my thoughts, just as Oelaer could. I have some... Important, I'll say, things to discuss with you. I 'said' casually. I nuzzled her cheek, very content.

My master Razz is coming over here to woo you, but I figured I'd get the job done instead. I pounced off her shoulder, and wiggled my tail, trying to look adorable. You see, I really like this way of communication. But Oelaer isn't quite enough... Plus I think if he doesn't get another friend soon -- actually I DON'T wanna know what would happen. I just think you should join us. It'd be soooooooo FUN!! You, Oelaer, Razz, and me... We would be unstopable!

I stood up on my hind legs, pawing the air with my outstretched forepaws. Just then Razz appeared, bouncing over with joy, "Zisis! I--" she peered at me in outrage, "VITANI!" she cried, "What are you doing with Zisis?!" she scooped me up in her arms.

I tried to squirm my way out, but Razz was too strong. Bye, Zisis! If you come with us, you won't regret it!I purred to the Ahzenai.

"Finally here comes an ahzenai that shares the thoughts of I!" Shadow thought as he spotted the bitter ahzenai in the side of the path. Dozens of animals took to him, most were rejected. Shadow then came up, causing most to move away. "You" Shadow said darkly "are like me." Shadow immediatly took to talking about his past with humans. "They destroyed everything. My home, my food. They took my family. I hate them." Shadow clawed at the ground, revealing his blood-stained claws. "I have faught against them for long enough myself. Which is why I want you to join me. We can defeat them."

Shadow held out a sharp, crisp dagger. "This. This is what was left after they took them." Shadow placed the dagger in front of Valakin. "My den is north. I live as far as possible. I have seen you, and what they did to your sister. She could be killed! But, she now lives in luxury." Shadow growled. "You can't trust them, though. You never know when they can betray you. What we can do to them, oh yes. We will rid them from ahzen, and maybe the WORLD!" Shadow got up from sitting, and glared at the incoming storm. Just as it started raining, humans came along. "This would be our first battle, if you choose.."

Sum up why you want this Ahzenai:

Shadow and I both would want Valakin as an equal. Humans are not to be trusted. Shadow is much like Valakin, whith his brutal nature, and they would click well together. They would be equals, allies even. Shadow nor I would never ignore Valakin. Valakin will be protected, and taken care of. I'm not going to lie to you, at first I wanted Valakin for his looks, so fierce. But then, as I took a deeper look into his personality and tactics, he began to grow on me. Valikin. There are no words to sum up why I would want him. Also, Valakin would be my first ahzenai, and maybe only one if he chooses. There will never be a day when I would want to give up on him. Valakin will forever be with me. (And shadow x3)

Note: I'm using the dagger and I wouldn't mind him being in the stories as long as he is portrayed well ♥
