Why do you want this animal?&What will you do for this animal?:
I connected with Chamsa instantaneously, his design is gorgeous and I adore the charisma he has already <3 I've been looking for a character to be a best friend of Jae, but I haven't found anyone until now. I think Chamsa would be a perfect match for him. Moreover, he's an incredible inspiration. When I write about him, the words just flow out of me. He's already so dear to me, he feels already part of my character family. There would be a piece missing from my heart without him. I'll give him a loving family, a warm home to return to, and all my love. Chamsa is the sweetest thing in the world to me, already. I'll give him a name he'll treasure, a personality he'd adore, and a soul that fits him like a glove <3
It was an immediate connection, I feel as if our fates are intertwined, like flowing ribbons, destined to meet and influence each other. Ever since yesterday, when I saw him, I've been sketching him nonstop in my notebook. Even his intricate tattoos are imprinted in my brain and scowling expressions, never to be forgotten. More and more ideas for short stories continue to pop into my head, comics and cartoons just appear from my pen. When someone talks to me, I suddenly think in my head unconsciously, what would Chamsa say? what would Chamsa do?
We have some strange connection that is hard to explain.
Personailty:
Chamsa is a wry, witty fellow that's often too bold in his actions and never thinks before acting. To people he doesn't know, he keeps a cold, cruel demeanor (his bold yet incredibly handsome looks help too ^^) on his face, accompanied by a Grade-A scowl. He sticks his lower lip out, lifts his head out, and struts down the streets with a swagger. Truthfully, he's a kind, caring fellow, but he acts like he doesn't care about anything because it could put his loved ones in harm's way. That's why to most grown-ups, Chamsa is known as a bad influence. They pick on him alot. When he's in human form, his teachers also have the same distaste for him, but Chamsa does well in school. He ranks consistently in the top thirty of his grade, so his teachers don't give him too bad of a time. Chamsa is very intelligent and clever, but he gets in fights easily, because he never backs down from a challenge to his honor, talks very boldly, and is slightly arrogant.
Jae and Chamsa-- Always Hwaiting!!
Chamsa and Jae are best friends, and have many things in common. Like Jae, Chamsa is also a spirit hunter. They have a wolf form, a normal human form, and also a spirit form where they project both forms into reality. Jae also gets a hard time from grown-ups, but less because his demeaner is usually just cold and bored. Chamsa has his scowl that is natural to him, which leads to more distaste. Jae also loves to laugh and does it often, while Chamsa doesn't even smile at much. Unlike Chamsa, Jae also knows how not to get into fights easily, but he usually ends up fighting with Chamsa because he cares about his safety. Jae gets most of his bad-boy reputation for helping Chamsa in fights, and Chamsa does feel guilty about it. But Jae doesn't mind. He sorta likes being a bad-boy ^^ Although, Chamsa's recklessness is a constant worry for him. They're almost always together, which is also usually the only time you'll see Chamsa laugh or smile. His laugh is very sweet and hearty, but his smile will melt your heart. Jae is the only person he'll open up to, because he knows that Jae will never let him down. Jae and Chamsa playfight often and also tease each other, they're just that close. They're like those guys that fist-bump really hard, punch each other, and make up after a fight with a man-hug and a slap on the back to show their best friend love. Jae and Chamsa are like brothers <3
Dislikes&Likes:
Likes---
His Nickname:
A little info on that. Chamsa is only his nickname, his real name is Jag-eun Byeol. Chamsa thought this was too cute for his reputation (he doesn't like that others pick on him, but at least they stay away) so he started calling himself Chamsa.
His Manleh-Man Muscles XD ---
He likes being buff. As spirit hunters, Jae and Chamsa stay very much in shape so they are very buff. Everyone is a little vain, so it would be logic that they do in fact enjoy their muscles. XD
His Fighting Skills--
Chamsa doesn't like fighting really, what he likes is giving bullies and other trouble makers what they deserve. Of course, because he fights these people often, others think that he's a trouble-maker. He has good intentions really, but he's too bold and brave. Chamsa can hold his own well in a street fight with a handful of people, but Jae often has to come in and save him against the gangs of ten or more. But Chamsa is proud that he can fight well, and protect the onces he cares about.
His Pride--
Chamsa has an intense sense of pride and honor. He'll defend it with his lifem and it's because of this that he often has a deeper connection with those whose sense of pride and honor are like him. (If you haven't gotten the pattern yet, it's Jae XD). Chamsa takes pride in his more feminine side (as does Jae), which are shown in the natural tattoos of his forelegs. He's more sensitive and caring than most guys on the inside, but shields it with a hard masculine covering (shown my the natural tattoos on his backlegs). Chamsa also takes pride in his masculinity of course, and also his handsome face and sweet smile. Even more so, his loud, happy laugh, even though it's rare unless Jae is there to make him laugh.
Red--
It's the reason he dyes his hair tips red. Because he loves that color <33 He believes it stands for honor, sacrifice, and strength. These three characteristics are very important to him, and he tries to live by these three rules based on them:
1. Defend you and your loved ones' honor.
2. No sacrifice means no victory.
3. True strength is being able to move on.
Dislikes--
People Being Worried Over Him--
Ever since he met Jae, he's met people who are now his mortal friends. They often worry about both of them, why they always come to school with new scars and bruises. And why sometimes they don't come to school at all, and go completely missing. Jae and Chamsa don't like that they make people worry over them. They're strong, emotonally and physically, they'll be fine. They know that, but others don't. So usually, Jae and Chamsa always say, when their friends are worried...
"We will protect everyone, We'll be the heros and save everyone, so don't worry," they say, a cheesy smile on their faces.
Although this doesn't relieve all of everyone's worries, there is some happiness in their comment which makes them a bit happier too.
Jae and Chamsa have this magical quality, when they're happy, others seem happier as well.
People Insulting His Hair--
Sounds trivial, doesn't it? But it's important to him. He dyes his fur/hair tips red because he likes it that way. It's not because he's rebellious or wants to stand out. Chamsa happens to very much like the color red and so dyes his hair tips that way. In a way, it's also a way to drive off others. Not many want to be friends with the scary scowling dude that dyed his hair red to "rebel against society".
His (Having to) Drive off Others
Like Jae, Chamsa is a spirit hunter. It's a dangerous work that could lead others into danger. To stop this from happening, Chamsa has cut all ties with anyone except his fellow spirit hunters and a few mortal friends that can fend for themselves. Jae has done the same, although not as extreme. Jae still has a few mortal friends, and occasionally a girlfriend for a little while. But Chamsa tends to take everything and triple it in extremity. He understands Jae's need to have friends and socialize, but thinks it's for the best if no one unlike him had strong relations with him. Chamsa wants to be friendly and warm, but puts their safety above everything else.

Mini Story ^^
[[ Both Jae and Chamsa are in their human forms, watching as I type out this form for Chamsa. After finishing the likes/dislikes section, I turn to face them... ]]
Anything I forgot, you guys?
"You forgot strawberries," said Jae, who sat spread out on a couch (one leg on the floor), nodding his head and tapping his long fingers to the music from his headphones.
"Chhhttt...strawberries," said Chamsa smugly, who was doing pull-ups in the corner.
Even though they're red?
"...it's only the red part I like," he replied, stopping to let Jae have a turn, and swaggered to the fridge to get a can of coke.
C: Strawberries are a love-hate thing with him. He loves that they're red, but hates the taste and shape.
"...and that they're defenselessly soft and juicy..." said Jae, effortlessly doing the pull-ups. "He hates that."
and they're defensisively soft and juicy. Chamsa dislikes that they're so easily harmed. Jae and Chamsa want to protect life, but especially dislike it when life makes no attempt to try to survive. It feels like wasted effort to them.
...but why doesn't Jae dislike strawberries?
"Byeol, toss," said Jae, stopping and catching the can that Chamsa threw him.
"I told you to stop calling me that," remarked Chamsa, a deep scowl returning to it's old place.
"Oh really, now? Ban-jjak-ban-jjak jag-eun byeol a-reum-dab-ge bit-i-ne..." teased Jae, his tongue playfully sticking out as Chamsa chased him. "...dong-jjok ha-neul-e-seo-do seo-jjok ha-neul-e-seo-do, ban-jjak-ban-jjak jag-eun-byeol a-reum-dab-ge bit-i-ne!" Jae's angelic singing voice seemed to echo as they raced around the house.
"Get back here, JAE!!!" yelled Chamsa, flinging his shoe but missing by a mile. Jae laughed in his unique sound, covering his mouth shyly as he always did.
Guys...guys...GUYS, the question!
The both stopped mid-tackle, Chamsa still hanging on Jae's back.
"Oh," Chamsa let go and hopped off Jae's back.
"Well...they're. just. fruit." Jae's serious and straight face sent Chamsa exploding with laughter. While Chamsa laughed, Jae stared at him with such an innocent face, it sent Chamsa into peals of laughter again.
That's nice, guys. Anything else? I'm afraid we can't cover much anymore...
"He loves spicy food," piped Chamsa, eager to move the spotlight on Jae instead.
"Indeed I do," said Jae, pulling out a small bottle of hot sauce from his jacket to show me; with another innocent angel look on his face, which sent Chamsa into endless laughter again.
So, I guess that's it.
One last thing, remember never to worry over Chamsa or his best buddy Jae...
"Hold on, why is his name first?!" yelled Jae.
"Oh shut up, it's my form and besides you get to be the 'best buddy'," Chamsa scolded, attempting to tackle the taller Jae.
Okay, um, the point is, don't worry over them. They can take care of themselves. So just don't worry or else...
"We will protect everyone, We'll be the heros and save everyone, so don't worry," they said in unison, a genuine smile on their faces.
author's note--- the part where Jae started teasing Chamsa~ Chamsa's real name is Jag-eun Byeol, which means Little Star. Jae often calls him Byeol, which is the star part, as a pet name. But then you'll notice Jae starts teasing him by singing a strange foreign song XD This song is called Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star!! 8D It's just in Korean, the language of Jae and Chamsa's native country. It goes to the same tune as Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star in English ;3 Try singing it ^^
The point is, the joke. Chamsa's real name means Little Star, so Jae sings TTLS there as a joke.
Get it? XD
Anyway, this was just a short story to show Chamsa and Jae's close friendship <3
the real background starts NOW *whoooshhh*
A series of short stories <3
Strolling down the street after school, a scowl in my face at nothing particular, I noticed a gang fight in the bank of the river next to me. Chht, probably fighting over something stupid. Best to move on, I've had enough trouble today. I was about to continue walking past when I caught a glimpse of a bright red jacket and deep blue-black hair. It couldn't be, I thought, he's not the type. I was proven wrong as a black chain cross earring landed an inch from my feet.
It was him!
Thoroughly pissed, I leaped down into the bank where the fight was. My classmate lay on the grass, bleeding heavily but not fighting back, as the brutes pummeled him.
"Jae. Jae, get up," I commanded, and he sat up smoothly as if not hurt at all. "You're strong. You could beat these idiots up, why won't you fight?"
He responded with a bewildered look towards me, the blood from a cut on his forehead dribbling down in his eyes. Then he glanced towards the bridge. I noticed a little girl, looking terrified, near the bridge. A broken vase was near her, and a wilted flower floating in a puddle of water.
My eyebrows narrowed and twitched, I was extremely pissed now.
"Oi! You idiots!" They all glanced up at me, "Look at that vase! What's wrong with it?!"
"Er...uh...it's...broken?" said one.
"Exactly! And why is it broken?!" I yelled.
"We knocked it over? While we were gambling..." said that same one again.
"Excellent answers!" I yelled, kicking the thug in the face, knocking him unconscious. "Now, apologize to this little girl!" I yelled again, pointing at the little girl under the bridge.
They laughed in my face, and chuckled, "This guy's crazy! He's seeing little girls all over the place! There is no girl and there's no way we're gonna apologize."
"Wrong answer!" I yelled, kicking another in the face.
"Hey! You wanna die, kid?!" one bellowed out in the small crowd.
"You!" I yelled, pointing at the tallest one. "Give me your phone!"
"U-uh...okay..." he said, tossing a grimy cellphone to me.
"Idiot! Why'd you give that punk your phone!?" a fat one hissed, slapping the back of the other's head.
"It was your phone, actually," he hissed back, once again getting slapped, this time by two others.
I ignored them, and waited for my call to go through. "Hello? Yes, I need an ambulance. I'm on the eastern bank of Maple River, near...uh..First Avenue..."
"Hey! Worry more about yourself than your friend, kid!" said the leader, leering at me with a deadly glare.
"How many? Eh...let's see..."
"Hey, didn't you hear me!?" spat the leader again, this time walking closer towards me.
"One..." I said pointing at the leader, "Two...Three....Four....Five...Six...Seven...Eight." Pointing at each thug including the two already unconscious, I said into the phone, "Yes, there are eight people here that will need an ambulance," and snapped the phone shut.
They grabbed their bats and knifes furiously, and charged at me. I kicked the short one in the face, and twisted his arm. One. Shoving him into the river, I grabbed the wrist of the fat one, wrung out the small knife, and held it behind his back. Slamming my foot down on his shoulder, he collapsed unconscious. The knife fell softly in the grass. Two. This time the others decided to work together. One swung his bat at my head, I snatched his arm and kicked his kneecaps sharply, breaking them and leaving him howling in pain. Three. The two others took this chance to sneak up from behind, I noticed their terrible attempt, but I millisecond slower than Jae who had finally recovered from shock. He punched one hard in the face, and kicked the other, forcing the head up. Ouch. I thought. Four and Five.
"I knew you could fight," I said panting hard and bleeding out of several cuts. He solemnly nodded, also panting and still bleeding heavily.
Seven thugs were unconscious on the ground, bleeding slightly but mostly bruised and in shooting pain. They would all live to see another day--in prison. One was left. The leader.
Grinning haughtily, he sneered, "You punks really think I'm that easy? You two just got lucky," He shooted towards us with two sharp knives.
Jae acted first. He ran towards the leader, then suddenly dropped to the ground, dodging the flying knives, and balancing his entire body on his arms. Still having momentum, he twisted his body around and slammed in the leader's kneecaps. I acted seconds after Jae, also running towards the leader. I jumped into the air and twisted my body around to bring a powerful kick to his face, just after Jae delivered his attack.
The leader dropped to the ground, crying and whimpering. Attempting to crawl away pitifully, the once smug leader begged for mercy.
Together, we walked towards the little girl, still frightened by the fight.
"I'm sorry you had to see that," Jae said, stooping down, a kind look on his face. "But they probably won't be back for a long time."
"It's okay. Thank you for chasing them away," she said quietly.
"I'll bring you a new vase of flowers tomorrow," I said, ruffling her hair, with a smile.
Her face brightened immediately and she reached up to hug us.
We had walked thirty feet away by the time the ambulance arrived. The cuts on our bodies had finally stopped bleeding, although Jae's school uniform was still torn in the middle. Taking a break, we sat on the bank of the river, a little pink from the blood that had spilled a quarter mile away.
"Why didn't you fight back when those thugs were pummeling you? You're a spirit hunter like me, you could've beat them all up quickly," I said, confused.
"You know that little girl under the bridge?" he replied.
"Yea, of course. That little spirit girl," I said.
"That vase with the flower in it, that was an offering from her family. They were poor and could only afford that much. But that little girl took great care over that flower," he started, but did not finish.
I began to understand what happened. Jae had somehow told them off and the thugs taunted him, by kicking the broken glass shards and stomping on the flowers. He attacked and let them hit him instead of hurting that little girl's flowers again...it must have been like that.
I hadn't known Jae very well before. I knew he was a spirit hunter, and he got top grades. Many girls liked him, he was kind and happy. But now, after just a small fight, I felt like he was my best friend.
"You're an interesting guy, Jae," I said.
"You too, Chamsa," he replied, chuckling softly.

made this in oekaki, I hope that's okay.
I also sketched in Chamsa's normal human form. his spirit form is still in the works though ;3
edit: I fail at oekaki OTL;;; But I drew pen sketches of him in my notebook during school, I tried to capture his outward personality that he puts on (human headshot sketch) and his more playful personality (wolf form) which is his "real" one ^^ ---ignore the fail drawing of a frisbee |D--- Ya, he does love frisbees btw.

lol neck's way too long XDDD that's what i get for drawing in pen D:

owo anatomy's off in this one XDD but I hope he seems pretty overexcited <3
Other:{If there is anything left}
XD I'm sorry my form is so long ;_; ! The words just flowed out of me nonstop <3
Chamsa makes an excellent writing muse ♥
To my greatest and deepest regret, I don't have much time to finish the two other short stories about Chamsa's wolf form and spirit form, but I hope that the two short stories I put above are enough to let the personality I crafted for him to shine through. ^^
If I do adopt him, you have my solemn word that I will finish these stories. I will enscribe his form in my art. I will love him to death, and he'll always have a special place in my heart.
