Beardogs Community Announcement

Hello all,

Long time no talk. After a lot of thought on our parts, Pepsii, Seven, and I have decided that Beardogs has probably run its course and as such, we're closing the doors on this UMA permanently.

This will be a slow process as we have a lot to get through to make sure we do this correctly. But over the coming days, you'll find that many of the beardog-specific threads are going to be closed and locked from further posting. Don't worry, the co-op archive will remain open (probably) indefinitely in the event you want to transfer your coding out etc. And the discord will remain open to facilitate talk for a while longer yet.

To touch on a few questions I know some folks might have:

⠀⠀1. What do I do with my remaining meat in my wallet
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Firstly, find a fridge maybe, a wallet isn't a good place for meat. Secondly; the makeover salon will remain open for the time being. ALL clothes, event, limited, or otherwise, will be uploaded there in the coming days for meat, and you will be able to purchase these with your savings.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀You will have free reign over dressing up your lil lads in the clothes you've earned or bought. You are obviously not required to post your dressups to the thread, but you can if you would like to show them off publicly somewhere.

⠀⠀2. I have unused custom/breeding items, what do I do with them?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀All breeding and custom items will be automatically converted into meat.

⠀⠀3. Can I transfer my beardogs out of species to another UMA?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Always ask the artist that made your beardog if they are comfortable with you doing this. Most of us are fine with it.

⠀⠀4. Can I transfer my beardogs out of species just to an OC?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Yes. Please always link back to the artist that made your beardog as the creator.

⠀⠀5. Will the beardogs species lineart become open for free-use?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀No. The beardogs species lineart, both PPS and adult versions, continue to belong to pep and I.

⠀⠀6. Will you sell/trade me the species?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀No.

And lastly, I just personally want to thank you all. Even though I stepped away from beardogs publicly, this community was (is) amazing and I can never thank ya'll enough for making this community what it is, and supporting me when I first decided to make it. And then later throwing your support behind pep when she took the wheel. Seriously love you all.
