It stuck out its tongue, which looked oddly dry. It made a strange noise and wriggled its paw out of your grasp, sitting on its hind legs in a begging position. The noise sounded like some sort of yelp. As the fara sat up, you could see its ribs easily through its thin skin- how long had it been under that rock pile?

"Oh... I see...." How could I be so blind? This little creature must've been trapped under this natural cage for god knows how long, but it was a wonder how it even got stuck in the first place, seeing that this is indeed just in the middle of an open forest. "I think I have some food... somewhere...", lucky that I've came prepared. After Alinia phoned me about the missing Faras I've immediately packed my supplies and literally ran into the forest without bringing the most important thing of all... a flashlight.

Scrabbling like a blind dog (indeed I'm blinded by the darkness) I dug through my backpack searching for my pack of biscuits. My hands felt for plastic, and eventually I drew out the long rectangular package of lemon tasting biscuits. (Yum!) Clumsily, I opened the package, spilling several in the process and placed the sack of biscuits down for the Fara, then whipping out my water bottle attached to the side of my bag I poured some water out into the portable cooking set I always take with me. "Here you go little fella.." I whispered, setting the metal dish down.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you." I said softly, sitting lower to the ground. My arms hung loosely at my sides.
I was covered in leaf dust and green leaves, but I didn't care. The Fara was so cute!
