Name: Ounce
How would you use him/her: As a character and friend to my other characters.
Define your Goennec:
I think I'll go with a story...
Ounce raced across the barren, sandy ground, looking for a plant, any plant. He craved dandelion, to rip the sweet, yellow petals from the center of the flower. But alas, being lost, he had no hope of that. He stopped suddenly. Something behind him caught his eye. There, a small flower grew, petals stretching towards the sun. He cautiously took a step towards it. And another, and another until he was practically stepping on it. He sniffed it thoroughly, then took a bite. Yes! It was a dandelion. Ounce feasted as much as one possible can on one flower, and then lay down next to the empty stalk for a good night's sleep.
Dandelions come and go,
But Ounce is coming too,
As the petals reach out and grow,
He'll be watching for them soon.
He tears the petals one by one,
Off their bright green stem,
As he chomps he finds it fun,
And wanders home again.
In rain and shine,
And when weather's mean,
He'll flash a smile fine,
All covered in the yellow petals,
And stained with stalks so green.
