As I stumbe into the Mage's house, smoke slithers its way up my nose and I immediately think FIRE! But I look around and no-one seems to be panicking. I become confused on why no-one is leaving and see a brown Mage Hound at the other side of the room. I look closer at her and see that her paws are on fire. Her nostrils were smoking also. I immediately think poor thing and cautiously walk over to her, feeling sorry for this Hound. Her head was three feet away from the ground when she is sitting. I bend down and stroke her smooth fur with my gloved hand. "Hello, Tanna. My name is Loup Garou, but my friends call me Loup." I stop and smile at her, wary of her flaming paws and how close they are to me. I look into her beautiful blue eyes and saw friendliness, loyalty and kindness. "I have travelled for miles, as I heard rumours and whispers about this place and your kind and came as fast as I could to see for myself what Mage Hounds were. Your breed is a magnificent breed and you are very beautiful and unique with your flaming paws. I have never seen anything like you. I have seen many normal hounds on the streets, where I live and I am looking for the one perfect companion to stay with me and keep me warm on cold nights." I smile and pause for a few seconds to breathe. "I am cold and very lonely most of the time because I live on the streets like my friends. I was wondering if you would like to be my new friend and come with me?" I turn away to cough and cover my mouth, then I turn to face her again. "All I can offer you is friendship, companionship, love, safety, warmth and..." I stop once more. I sit down and take off my remaining shoe and offered it to her. "And my old shoe. It's not much, but I hope you choose to come with me." I step back and wait for her answer.
