Why is this one staring at you?:

Iridescent is a curious little lizard. When around others that are new, she silently observes them. She does this by channeling all of her energy to her eyes and brain. Then, Iridescent starts slowly putting together all of the tiny observations she has made, and combines them into one big piece. After that, she uses her horns to sense if anything else in nearby. They act as sound waves, and can tell if another living, breathing thing is nearby. Iridescent is also very shy, and tend to hide from others. If she likes you, she'll stay put. If she doesn't, well, she'll run away. Don't get to comfortable yet; if Iridescent senses danger nearby, she'll attack you. Watch out for this feisty girl.

Good evening everyone! I've been busy at work with Mint Chip today and our Halloween event is finally ready! Since it takes up a lot of space its going onto a separate thread, you can find it here. There is also a nice big link on the front page c:

Everything you need to know about adopting them is on the thread. I also played a little bit more of roleplaying aspect with this event. Let me know how you like it. I didn't go very far with it for the main thread cause I know thats not some people's thing, but I'd like to know if you think I should continue doing it for events in the future.

Mt. Kīlauea in Hawai'i, the most active volcano

Random facts about them:
He is warm to the touch no matter where he goes. It might have something to do with his volcanic DNA. Snow melts around him and is a perfect cuddling companion.

He loves to play in the lava flows and they don't seem to burn him.

His markings and eyes glow like lava and can be seen in the night

When He's cool, asleep, depressed, or relaxed his body "cools down" to almost black but when he's excited, anxious, playful or angry it turns a deep red as seen here.

His eyes change color depending on his mood as well from dark red to orange depending on the above moods.

He was once one of Pele's pets, but now wanting to explore she brought him here to get adopted.

Can breath small puffs of fire

Personality
Sweet and playful.Can be careless at times but it makes up in his kindness. Sometimes his hotness can get him into trouble and cause him depression. Don't get on his bad side because he can be a little hot-headed and bad tempered, however he can usually keep it under control.

Are they enjoying the attention? Why or why not?: At first Ada enjoyed the attention, she loved being the center of attention. If she wasn't, Ada would get very annoyed or frustrated with herself but eventually the attention got overwhelming. She felt like shej was suffocating with all the eyes on her and Ada grew extremely self-conscious. Now she tries to avoid getting attention but is well aware that it's difficult with her shiny scales.

She's a cunning little creature who likes to stalk, chase and bask. Sometimes she pretends she can breathe fire, but only ends up with warm, breathy air and an adorable squeak.

What toy is their favorite, and why?: A small rubber football; she likes it because it bounces around unpredictably and she never tires of chasing it. Sometimes she curls up around it to sleep, so that it can't get away while she's resting.
