Fara Foxes~ Reopening in a different thread, check last post

suddenly became the creature very cute and not nearly as scary anymore.
I also noticed how my eyes started to get accustomed to the dim light, I just sat for a while and half looked at the creature, then I said with a gentle and quiet voice, "Hey cutie, come here" I snapped a bit with your fingers mostly to see if it reacted to human voices.

I give a sudden gasp of surprise as I see it- a Mutated Fara. It looks hostile- there was no way I could even get close to it until it calmed down. I rose very slowly and dropped the stick. I didn't want to hurt the Fara- I just wanted to get it back safely to Aliana so it could get a perfect home. " I'm not going to hurt you. I promise I won't." I said in a calm voice.

Surprised by how the fara reacted I pet its feathery pelt as it nuzzles me. "Hey, I just made a new friend..." I murmured softly.

I relax only slightly at the slightly less hostile air, but remain on guard despite. "I'll be honest on the last part - I am scared of them. Not you - I have a mild case of arachnophobia, but it only effects me with smaller spiders..." I trail off, gazing first at the Fara and then at the small creatures gathered around it. "But these ones aren't that scary...They aren't climbing all over me and biting all my sensitive flesh." Glancing away from them I smile softly at the Fara, "And you don't scare me at all. I mean, you scared me when I first saw you because I didn't expect you to be there and it gave me a start. And I was scared of you just now cause you were acting pretty hostile; I mean, I find dogs adorable, but I'll get frightened if they bare their teeth at me, y'know what I mean?" I realize I'm rambling like an idiot and bite my tongue, chewing on my words carefully for several moments.

"...I won't let them kill you. I promise." I kneel down, gazing at the Fara softly. "I came here to help you; to protect you from the Animal Control. Do you honestly think I'd take you back to the Shelter just to let them do what I worked to prevent? I don't think so."

Where would you like to start looking: Forest

You set out in the forest, marching along and looking for faras. You come across a river, flowing rapidly through the trees. You stop to take a rest and sit on a large rock near the edge of the river, when you hear a loud yelp- You sat on somethings tail!

Knight.mare: The creature swoops down again, landing right on your chest. It looks at you curiously, and licks your face. It makes a few awkward chirping noises before hopping off of you and to your side, biting your sleeve and pulling, as if it was trying to move you.

Wiolet: The creature jumped a little when it heard the snap, and laid down on its belly with its head on its paws. It whimpered, its tail waving slightly. Its front paws reached out, gripped the ground, and pulled the rest of it forward a little bit. The animals ears were layed back, and it was obviously scared of the person in front of it.

Maximum: The fara tilted its head to the side and grinned. "Of course you won't, silly. You're my playmate now- it's not like you can get out, anyway." It walked forward and rubbed itself against your leg, purring like a cat. "Won't you play with me?"

Rhyur- Congratulations, you've just tamed the first mutant fara! :D

Where would you like to start looking: The old shut down mines out in the woods

You step in to one of the old mines, holding up your handy flashlight. You venture into the cave, staring in awe at all of the crystals surrounding you. There were gems of every color- Red, orange, blue, green, you name it. After a while of exploring the gorgeous caves, you come across a cluster of the rainbow crystals on the ground. They're massive, and dripping with some sort of clear liquid. Behind the semi-translucent crystals you can see the figure of an animal.

You head into the sewer system, unprepared and hoping for the best. You walk along the edges of the tunnels, hoping you won't get too dirty. After a few minutes of walking, you hear a yelp- then some gurgling noises. You look around to see what it was, but you don't see anything. Then suddenly a head bobs up above the sludge, and you hear more yelping before it goes back under.

Kaitou: The creature relaxed a bit and chuckled, motioning for the smaller spiders to move elsewhere. They followed the command, pouring out of the elevator. "You seem honest enough. I'll return with you on one condition- that I stay with you."
Congratulations! You have won the second mutant fara! :D

P.S- Just so you guys know, some faras will talk and some won't. Those who don't just haven't figured out that they can yet. ;P

( this reminds me of Saw- kinda.) ' Might as well, can't get out.' I wanted to say. I patted the Fara's head. As long as I wasn't eaten, I'd be good. " What do you want to… play?" I asked cautiously. I gave a sigh, and hoped I wasn't… eaten in the game.

I noticed that the clicking sound had frightened it, and slowly took back my hand. it seemed to be sound sensitive so I had to be careful with the sound if it would start to trust me.
I sat down slowly now completely down and just waited for several minutes, I did not want to rush it in any way since it was both scared and trapped, which could make a dangerous at worst. "it's okay sweetie, I'm not dangerous, "I said with soothing voice mostly just to try to calm it down as much as possible
