Why do you want this character? — Because I love balloons, especially in cartoon form. My favourite colour is grey, I absolutely love rainy days. And the blue on her collar and in her eyes is the most beautiful shade. But more than that, I love the feel of Rainy Day. She is majestic, a fallen queen who still holds dignity, and a broken soldier who knows what they've done. There's a melancholy vibe, and I love it. She also seems determined, which I love, and her colouration with the not-gradient but stripes and the collar… I love it. I love her, and would love to explore the possibilities, the personality and the art styles.
Where will you use it, and what will you use it for? — I will probably keep her on CS, mostly for rping and art, but I may take her offsite one day if I have time to re-join an old rping site of mine, but she would be my main character.
Full name — Rainy Day Marianela (rebel-star in Spanish)

PHYSICAL APPEARANCEHeight — 40 cm at the shoulder, an average height.
Weight — She weighs approximately 2.5 kilograms, slightly under average.
Figure/build — Rainy Day has a slight, lithe build. She has a petite head and narrow face, a slightly longer body and tail than average, but strong legs, perfect for climbing, an unusual trait for foxes. Her tails are bushy and kink downward at the tips.
Fur colour/style — Rain has slightly grey fur covering her back, stomach, tail, head and legs. However, unusual to her species, she has bands of colouring on her tail tip, ears, and paws, ranging from a slightly darker grey to a near black at the tips of her extremities. She has sleek fur, mostly used to keep heat in on cold winter nights.
Eye colour — She has the eye colour light blue, the colour of a clear, cloudless day in her alpine habitat. However, she was named for her odd fur patterns and not her eyes, hence the Rainy part of her name.
Skin colour — Like most alpine foxes and creatures, Rainy has black skin, which attracts whatever heat the sun can give.
Scars/marks — Rainy has three claw marks down her left flank from a bear cub encounter within her second year of life. She also has a white birthmark on her left tail, a narrow stripe almost like a bracelet circling seventy-five percent of her tail.
Jewellery — Although Rainy Day only wears a blue collar which she found after a fire, she has two balloons tied around each of her tails, which she found abandoned when she went to an abandoned village one day and fell in love..

HEALTHAllergies — Rainy is, unfortunately, allergic to lavender. When she is near it, she sneezes uncontrollably, and when touches it, she gets hives and continues sneezing.
Any physical ailments/illnesses/disabilities — She has a slight breathing detriment due to the high mountain air, and an incident in which a large branch fell on her.

PERSONALITYPersonality — Rainy Day is quite a quiet character, but she is light of heart when faced with someone she knows well. Her main characteristics are shy and introverted. She becomes nervous and jittery when planted in an unfamiliar situation, but in a place or surrounded by people she is familiar with, she blossoms into a bubbly, uplifting spirit. She does this to protect herself emotionally, shutting off any possible connections that could be severed and harm her. When angry, she will silently seethe with a death-glare in the corner, and will often contain her anger until something minor sets her off, in which case she will start physically taking out her anger on things around her, people, also, if it has been a while since she had last raged. However, she will not speak a word in these rages, a trait she acquired from her father. When sad, she will get distant-eyed and weary, and simply remove herself from the situation and deal with it (often by crying and wailing). She values honesty, trust and caring, three traits that do not mix well together, thus her difficulty in finding friends and keeping them. She is a plan-follower to a fault, and will often stick to her original plan and schedule until it is not an option. She seems to be emotionless at first glance, but she is affected by everything emotive in some way, she just does not choose to show it. She often tends to put herself first in an effort to push away potential heart-breakers, but instead comes off as cold-hearted and selfish. Her decisions are part logic and part emotional, and she is excellent in treading this thin line in what is best for a whole and what is best for each individual, which would show leadership if she didn’t shy away from the spotlight so much. However, this dual-sidedness also will tend to tear her apart sometimes, because many decisions are one or the other, and not both. She is grounded, needs concrete evidence and a steady plan to move forward. When placed with familiars and favourites, she becomes more open, and lets people know her thoughts more regularly. She inputs much more into the conversation and into decisions, and is quite good at rescuing awkward silences. She tends to becomes curious and inquisitive when more open, but tries to supress this by burying herself in her relations. She is not very good at dealing with pressure, and will tend to take on more than she can handle, and then flail under the responsibility. Often she needs someone to tell her that she’s working too hard, doing too much, and to take her away and let her relax. She craves interaction with those who understand her, whom she trusts and who care about her. In a romantic relationship, she loves being treated, and will reciprocate these actions on a smaller, more personal scale. When insulted, she takes these things to heart and often stews over them. When faced with an emotional friend, she is more likely to offer ways to solve the problem rather than offer emotional comfort. She cares deeply and is also loyal to a fault, and many times been conflicted by her protective nature and her non-confrontational nature. She aims in life to have a comfortable, tight social web, with a happy family and friendship group surrounding her. She believes her best virtue is her steady work method, and her worst trait her indecisiveness in logic/emotion area. She is also resourceful, and amazing at making things out of other things she finds.
Likes — Rainy likes the grey of a thunderstorm-y sky, blueberries after a squirrel, the water from a specific stream that runs over a cliff a while away from her burrow, kind people, the look of plants covered in dew and snow, the delay between thunder and lightning, stepping over stones in a river, murky green eyes, small paws, gliding wings, foggy days, playing hide and seek, being up high.
Dislikes — Rainy Day does not like the feeling of complete isolation without the feeling of calm, anything vibrant red (like strawberries), eating small, non-predatory birds, bears in any shape and form, hard decisions, the ocean, unfamiliar situations, repetitive clumsiness, fire, especially forest fires, deserts and the heat, scavenging for food, carrion, getting her picture taken, being stalked, attention-seekers, drama queens, unbalance, dangerous places.
Fears/phobias — urso/arktophobia (fear of bears), agoraphobia (fear of unfamiliar situations), pyrophobia (fear of fire), autophobia (fear of isolation).
Hobbies — finding the most remote, calming, safe place as high up as possible, playing simple games with set rules with close friends, meditating/relaxing, working for the good of others.
Music Taste — electronic, repetitive, club music.
Talents/skills — finding small details of things, having a balance between emotion and logic, climbing up things you wouldn’t normally climb.

OTHERFighting Style — If possible, she prefers aerial attacks (which isn’t very accessible for her). She likes having the space to dart in, make a small, quick wound and dart out of harm’s way, wearing out her opponent and keeping herself safe. When she is fighting as a pair or group, she will take the time to analyse styles, quickly, and compliment them.
Weapon(s) — She keeps a satchel in her den containing a few poisonous berries at all times, in case she has to flee and someone enters her den, eats them and is paralysed/dead.
Weaknesses in combat — heavy combat in tight spaces, death fights, being the bigger fighter
Strengths in combat — darting, fleeting attacks, quick moving and thinking, confusing her opponent.
Parents — Her parents were distant when she knew them. Her father was a visitor more than a proper father, and would often storm into wordless rages when he tried to teach his kits fighting or scavenging. The last time she saw her father was when she was just under a year old, when he fought with Rain’s mother about the location of her den, which turned into a claw-and-tooth fight, her father victorious. He gave the final piece of advice to live loud and go down swinging, and was gone. After the spat, her mother, who was most commonly found hunting for her (!!) eight kits, hunted less, leaving the kits, Rain and her siblings, hungry and desperate. One day, she hadn’t left the den in two days, and the kits were only just surviving on the water trickling down the entrance. One by one, the kits left and Rain hasn’t seen head nor hind of either of her parents since.
Siblings — Rainy Day has seven siblings, and while she kept in contact with them as a kit they were all distant threats for her milk and later food supply. All except for one, a brother called Tallest Mountain. The two were closer, and two of the weaker kits, though not the runts. When the kits left after their mother became despondent, Rainy Day and Tallest Mountain stuck together, using their curiosity and what little knowledge of hunting, fighting and scavenging to survive. They found shelter in a small hollow under a tree and lived there peacefully for a month or so. One day, however, Tall found a hole small enough for only he to fit through. He wriggled his way in, but got stuck. Then the worst thing that could happen, happened. Tallest loosened the dirt around him, which collapsed the tunnel and he suffocated to death. Rain was mourning for only a few minutes when a fire swept through the area, and she had to leave her brother trapped there forever. She never did find their first home again.
Important Relatives — She has had no other close relatives, and this has made her grow up more self-reliant and independent.
History — It was a warm summer day when Rain and her seven siblings were born. Her mother named her Rainy Day because of her darker white markings, and she was the sixth born and sixth biggest. She grew up as a normal fox would, fighting for milk and later food in the warm, familiar darkness of the den. Her mother was a food-bringer and nothing more, a reluctant parent who had gotten knocked-up by choice. Rain never knew her or her father’s names. At six months, her mother began to train the litter, fighting and food-finding, useful skills. Her father pitched in as well, but never at the same time. Here Rainy picked up her resourcefulness and her temper, as her father would lose his when the kits wouldn’t focus or failed a task. After her father left in a fit of rage, post-battle with her mother, Rain’s mum became unresponsive, and slowly her siblings left in search of food. Rainy Day was one of them, and she stuck by one of her brothers, Tallest Mountain, in an alliance for survival. They found a comfortable home, and by that time they were a year old. A dreadful accident occurred one day when Tallest found a tunnel leading out from their underground home and Rain encouraged him to follow it, a fatal mistake as Tallest Mountain suffocated to death after a tunnel collapse. Rainy tried digging him out, but his body had to be left to the wrath of the blaze that had also started that day.She found a collar (the one she is wearing in the image) that day as well, and rescued it in memory of her lost brother. She fled the last of her companionable life, and moved on to solitary life. In this time, she found another home, got into a routine and got to know her territory. She had a few spats and events in her life there, one being the time she fought a bear. She was out hunting in her usual hunting grounds, after a squirrel, when a bear cub came crashing through the undergrowth, also chasing the squirrel. Rainy stood her ground, and it came down to a battle- Rainy came worse off, three claw marks down her left flank a reminder to leave bears alone. Another notable occurrence was when she spotted a male fox in the area. She grew closer to him over a period of a week, and he broke her heart when he said he already had a mate after she had confessed her love for him, leaving her bitter and cold. Another memorable moment was the time she found her balloons. She was exploring outside her normal area, looking around for bears and other predators, when she came upon a village. It seemed abandoned, and so she explored further, her forced compression of curiosity releasing for a moment. She entered a hut and uncovered the balloons, fully blown up with helium. She loves these and they remind her to be happy and lively when she gets down, and she often returns to the village for helium refills. A final moment was when she had a branch fall on her, which was simply because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She managed to free herself and her balloons, but has trouble with high-energy endurance treks and her breathing.
