Eeeeeeeeee <3 Event time! :D
So this is a roleplay event, and I've never done one, so bare with me here. :P I'm trying!
HERE WE GO!
Alinia was out walking a hoard of faras one day, about to put them up for adoption. It was pretty nice out, and she was just walking them down the street- But one of the faras got too excited and decided to run. It pulled it's leash out of her hand and took off down the road, running at full speed [which isn't too fast, since faras have pretty stubby back legs, but still.]. Another fara decided it wanted to go, too, so
it pulled away from her as well. One by one they pulled away as she struggled to contain the furry beasts, until she had none left. She started to run after them, frantically looking for any sign of the little creatures. After about twenty minutes, she gave up. She was too tired to continue to look for them- They were probably way out of sight by now. So she turned around and began to walk home, worrying about the faras.
As she should.
A week later, she gets a call from the local animal control. She excitedly asks if they've found her faras, and the man on the phone says, "Kind of."
"What do you mean, kind of?"
"They're not really faras anymore, ma'am. It seems they've gotten into a toxic waste dumping ground outside of city limits- they've got strange mutations. Some have horns, wings, claws, and even extra legs! A few of them reacted badly to it and it burned them like acid. It's caused some strange things in them, too. Also, it seems they've gained the ability to speak. We've located some of them, but we're afraid we can't risk rescuing them- they'll have to be put down."
"You can't do that, it's not like they've tried to hurt anyone! ...Have they?"
"Not yet, but with the way they look we can't be careless..."
"Well if you won't save them then I will!" Alinia hangs up the phone indignantly, immediately heading for her desk drawer where she keeps her phone book. Flipping pages rapidly, she starts dialing....
You've been recruited by Alinia to help catch the mutant faras! Where would you like to start looking?
1. The forest- It's obvious that's where they'd go!
2. Back alleys and abandoned buildings- What a good place to hide.
3. The sewer systems- It just seems like a place a mutant thing would hide.
4. The old shut down mines out in the woods- Don't creepy things like the dark?
5. Where the waste is- Seems like a good place to start.

Here's how it works-
You post the form, telling me where you want to start. Lets say you picked the forest.
I'll respond to your post with something like this:
You head out into the woods with a flashlight, hoping you find something before it gets
too dark outside. You look around at the trees, wondering if maybe one had managed to climb them. Glancing up at the tree tops, you spot movement.
From there, you respond with what you would do, like this:
I shine my flashlight at the moving figure, but I only get a glimpse of it before it's out of my view. I run over to the tree I saw it in and start climbing, eventually making my way to the top. I look around, hoping for another sight of the figure.
And we'll keep going from there. :]
The only time I'll post as "you" is in the first one where I respond to your form- that's just a starting point. From there on out I'm just posting about what the fara's doing.
Here's what NOT to do:
-Control the fara. You can't be like, "The fara looks at me, jumps in my arms, and I run away with it!" Sorry, no xD That's not how this works.
-Have superpowers. You cannot get that fara out of the tree with your telekinesis.
-I'll add to this later, I guess :P
There are twenty faras. After twenty people have started, I'll post saying no more entries. If someone doesn't respond for two or more days, and doesn't warn me, like "I'll be on vacation/My internet won't be up/I'll be at a friends house", then that person's spot is up for grabs.
If they lose their spot, but another one opens up later, they can just start at the point they were already at ;]
