WIP Desired name:
Loyde
Personality:
This little girl is deeply obsessed with technology, If she is not cranking out a new invention, architectural piece, or sculpture then she can be found slaving over a sheet of parchment designing something spectacular. In a way she is the "Leonardo Da Vinci" of the daeet world. She's not a daeet of many words, and was believed to be mute until a fully fledged adult, yet it is still very rare for one to hear her voice. She likes her surroundings to be quiet, and secluded, were no one can find her, and she can get lost in her thoughts alone, and with out interference. Even so, those who have been able to break her unusually shy, exterior, have found that she is a very sweet, if not sincere soul.

Why wouldn't I want to adopt her? This little beauty is absoloutly stunning in every single way. She reminds me of a very famous man by the name Frank Loyde Wright. Now why, why on earth would this even matter to me? He lived a long time ago, about a hundred years, so what does he have to do with me? I'll tell you. I live where he did. Not his home and studio, but where his home and studio is. The same town, so you see, Mr. Wright is very popular here, and this little girl reminds me of him strongly. Not only do I live two houses down from a row of three of his student's designs, but I can now walk to his Home and Studio, ever since I moved it's been closer to my current house.

With a soft whirr of noise, the machine hummed to life, emitting a soft rosy glow into the shadows. The female smiled. Finally, her invention worked! Prodding at it gently with a small, slim rod of iron ore, Loyde pushed the final stone into place. It was finished. Her work here was done. Almost. The young Daeet slid in the last and most important componant, a glass pyramid, clear and glimmering in the sifting and swirling red light. As it clicked into the slot designed to hold it, brilliant colors spun around the room, reds, oranges, yellows, various shades of greens blues and the deepest of indegos, and finally, they came to rest, revolving very, very, very slowly along a central axis. Polaris. The north star. Loyde had created a moving replica of the solar system, 3-D and life like, though not in size. She allowed herself another smile as the sun crackled into life and Murcury went whizzing past her ear. Picking up a stained rag in the courner of her little rotund room, the youngling wiped the oil and mess of her paws and hooves, and went to go shut off her model. But something else got there first. The machine flickered and died, and Loyde cursed under her breath. Just as she had gotten it to work! Poof. Something would break. It always seemed to work that way with important things. Advancing on the small thing, her fur puffing out and tail bristling with rage and frustration, she gave it a solid whack! with her forpaw, and it stared to glow again with life.
Then, Loyde sat there for hours, watching the beautiful thing glow and pulsate with radiance. As she made to shut it off, it stayed on until she pressed the 'off' button gently with her slender paw, and it died down slowly. Then, she went to take a wash and scrub the filth from her fur.
"Loyde, you're a genius!" she told herself. "They say that females aren't as intelligent as males, well, I'll show them wrong! Once they see my gorgeous model, the won't be able to say that again!"
And as she washed her softly glowing fur, Loyde felt a deep sense of pride growing in her heart. But when she came back into the room, her divice was gone!
"Oh no," she muttered, "Oh crap, oh crap crap crap crap crap!" Her voice squeeking with her clogged emotions. But, the theif left a clear trail through the mud outside. Forgetting that she had just washed to clean the dirt from her body, Loyde scrambled out the windown and trundled after the trail, cursing under her breath and muttering vile things about the thief. As she turned the corner, she hit something hard.
"Sorry," they muttered together, and as Loyde looked around she saw her brilliant invention strewn on the ground.
"You-" she started to growl, but then something hard hit her head and everything went black.
