Well....I'm rather indifferent. I think it's rather unoriginal, but then again I got Amaniel's unique design from a generator. But there I made major edits to it on GIMP, adding my own markings.

I voted against, there is no thought put into those characters; they're too easy to make. I would hate to see this place be overrun with creatures created by some lazy person randomly clicking their mouse.

We got one entry that was slightly edited and made on one of those create-a-wolf flashes. They edited it and made it even MORE of a sparkledog. I lol'd.

I voted yes. There are two reasons.

A) I'm frankly not impressed by many of their options. They usually have "spots/stripes/wings/pick a color." This doesn't leave room for much creative thought, and it's easy to come up with a design identical to someone else's completely by accident. The only generator that I would give points to in this regard is the Waja custom preview thing, but if I'm not mistaken, it's against copyright law to use that here, so...

B) It cheapens the amount of work put into these by those who actually do them by hand. Using linearts I can understand - not everyone is willing to devote the amount of time necessary to learn to draw and/or create their own lineart - but generators feel like cheating.

Pretty much this is the reason I thought of the rule in the first place.

Anyone using Wajas for an adoption entry would be temp banned. It's copyrighted, and I'm a broke college student so I can't afford to get sued. (By a real lawyer, not the e-lawyers the sparkledog artists keep threatening me with.)
