Background story/ Bio: Fedorah's P.O.V. I was the last grey fennec left in the wild. All the other's were captured by men, and they were just behind that gate. My mind wondered about the possiblities: If I didn't go and release them, the grey fennecs would go extinct, but theirs still the possablity that there is still another grey fennec out there... I couldn't stand it. I jumped out into the open, sprinting as fast as my legs can take me. I slipped under the small opening at the bottom of the gate. Then I heard a man yell something indistinguishable, caused by the wind whirlling in my ear, everything, even my hearing, was a blur. I focused on my destination, a slick black conter top with dozens of cages, all filled with grey fennecs. I jumped up onto the conter-top, but when my claws reached it, it skidded, making a terrrible ear wrenching sound. I winced. At the moment, when I took the time search the sages of any opening, I saw the slit that make the cage to open and close. The only reason that the others hasn't escaped yet, is that the bars were to small for a paw to even claw out. This cage was empty though, so I dashed along the counter top looking for a filled cage. Once I started running, I quickly came to a stop, all of these cages were filled... it would take forever to make them all escape. I stopped to see the eyes of the the fennecs glowing from the backs of the cages. I whined, all of those eyes were the ones I knew and loved for. Before i could paw open the slit, a man grabed me, his grip tight. I struggled fiercly, but before I knew it, I went limp, it was an intinct that all fennecs have... or should I say had, I'm the last one who carries the gene now. I went limp in the arms of the man, scince I didn't want to waste my energy in case I needed it. I whimpered silently as it contricted my air way. I was dropped on to a chilling the table, then I was strapped down. I was fed a gas that made me drowsy, but before I fell asleep I heard a few words then the man was speaking.
"This one should be experiment 104-7, also known as stitched fox. She looks like a beauty to try this on, and if she survives it would be a scientific mirical! It seems as if..." And that was the last I heard when I slipped into unconscious.
When I woke up, I felt a sharp pain surrounding my mouth area, I tried to open it, but it was snap closed; and the worst part was, that I was trapped in a cage. I haven't relized it yet, but I was going to be like this forever. Once again I heard the man speak.
"I added Bortrnium Nitrate to her, during the operation, one of those secrets to life, don't you remember? Well, the operation was about 3-4 hours long, wasn't bad though; She was knocked out cold. I also added the genes of the oldest fennec alive to 'er, that'll make her live longer..." I heard another man speak, but his voice wasn't light and playful like that other, but more... cold. "What about food? She needs food to survive? Doesn't she?" The light man's voice spoke again. "Oh, I though of that, I added a gas to her stomache, that makes her "recycle" her food. She'll never need to eat again. We tested that gas on mice, and they never got hungrey..."
I didn't bare to listen anymore, I didn't want to know the secrets that lie in me... I just wanted to escape. I stalked around in my cage, thinking about how to get out. I stumbled across an old memory I had before I was captured and taken in. A slit... my memories were scrambled, but I remembered a slit... a slit that takes me out.... I etched silently to the front of my cage that I was trapped in. The bars were loose, and my paw could easily reach out and touch the ground. I pawed at the slit, and the door flew open. I leaped out and was careful not to let my claws touch the ground. And the exit was wide open, but I didn't want to go alone, even though leaving was the only thing on my mind. I was hushed and found another grey fennec, it was a male. I pawed at the slit untill he can out too. Then we were together, and then we dashed out of the wretched building together, hoping to revive the grey population.
And that was the last they heard of experiment 104-7.
