Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?
Blaze is definitely my favorite of the three. Her bright, blazing colors are just so attractive. If I was only adopting one of these beauties, I would choose Blaze. In fact, I considered only getting her and Rosabel, but Beethoven is just too perfect. They're all such gorgeous characters. I don't have any Spitz characters yet, and I would love if she becomes my first!
I haven't ever drawn a Spitz, but they don't seem too difficult, so I'd love to use for art practice (traditional.) I probably won't post it, but I might. I'm not sure yet. I guess it depends how it turns out. I also have trouble drawing group pictures due to the fact that I always draw in poses like [url=LINK]this[/url], so I need some practice, and I would love to draw Rosabel, Beethoven, and Blaze together.
Personality
Blaze is a very independent dog who wants to have her way all of the time. She can be very stubborn, and downright trouble when she doesn't get her way, and she isn't very often lonely. She's okay with being in a group, but she prefers when she's alone. That doesn't go with puppies, though - she absolutely loves puppies, and she's very patient with them. She has a very mild and motherly nature when it comes to them. Although she loves her own the most, she will take in abandoned puppies if given to her, and she will never snap at a pup. Not once has she ever given up a puppy, even the ones that most other dogs would have pushed away. She once raised another dog's litter when the mother was hit by a car, in addition to her own puppies - fortunately, her own litter had only been of two and the other dog's was three, so she only had five. She never lost patience with them, even though she was used to larger, pet purebred dogs and the other litter were full out feral mutts, and on the smaller side at that.
She's also a little vain, and will brag if she has a reason to. She has one multiple ribbons at dog shows, and she holds her head high around other dogs. She isn't flat-out mean about it, but she isn't going to pass up the chance to brag. Fortunately, she isn't a sore loser, although she certainly won't congratulate the winner. She might sulk a little, but she won't be rude.

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:
The moment I looked at her I fell in love. I don't have any natural-looking horses at the moment, and her design honestly just drew me in. Her beautiful, deep brown eyes and black, curly mane really do go with her overall design of different fur patterns beautifully. I see her as strong, but also caring. Independent, but able to slow down enough to help the "little people."
I'll be writing stories about her, primarily. I'll attempt to get some art of her, too. She'll probably go on my Weebly (which I won't be linking to, since it's a MAJOR WIP at the moment).

Esmerelda is very kind and loving by nature. She cares deeply for those that cannot help but be ostracized. Even if she disagrees with people who are made fun of and picked on, she'll still stick up for them, for she hates to see anyone suffer at the hands of a bully.
She often helps beggars on the side of the road, or offers her time at soup kitchens and homeless shelters. She believes that everyone is a light to the darkness in this world, and that the world will only recognize the light if the light shines brightly enough. She strives to do her best to do good for people who are hurting and in need of help, for she truly despises seeing others suffer.
Esmerelda tries her hardest to help all who ask for it - and even some who don't! When she knows someone who's undergone a recent tragedy, she does everything in her power to help that person out. She absolutely cannot stand it when people make fun of others, or hurt others (physically or emotionally).
She tends to pounce on people who need help. Even if they deny needing it, she'll still try her best to help them until they shoo her away. Some of the more meek people she helps don't have the heart to turn her down, and sometimes, Esmerelda ends up doing more harm than good. Though, when others get to know her, they realize that she only means to do good, and is doing it in the only way she knows how.

Joyful and Lively
Having been abandoned as a filly, Esmerelda has every right to be depressed and sorrowful, but instead, she keeps her head held high and her spirits joyful. She looks at the world with a "glass is half-full" view, and tries her hardest to not let the haters get her down.
She literally won't slow down, sometimes. She'll race about, filled with conviction or emotion to do what needs to be done, and won't take "no" for an answer. If she needs to get past a gate that's locked, she's guaranteed to find a way to get to the other side - hopefully without attracting too much attention. She's very intelligent - not book-smart, but street-smart. Being out in the cruel world has taught her many things, and one of them is that you have to keep moving when you're on your journey (particularly if it's an important one for helping others), no matter who or what stands in your way.
Esmerelda is filled with energy. This sometimes gets in the way of her making friends, however, due to some beings not liking her playful side. She often barges ahead without talking out her ideas with others, and this makes her get on the nerves of some of the beings that know her.

Remember to look at your glass half full and not half empty. A lot of my strength comes from God. God has given me a gift - the gift of life - and it's amazing that I live each day.

Independent, Obstinate, and Opinionated
If Esmerelda is anything, it's opinionated. She is EXTREMELY verbose, particularly when she thinks something is right and someone else is wrong, and she wishes to prove her point to that being. She can sometimes seem as if she's attacking the person and not the argument, but that's simply because she gets so impassioned about the cause that she doesn't notice that her words may come across as harsh or insulting. Because of her strong moral beliefs, Esmerelda is one of the most obstinate creatures you'll ever meet. She very rarely changes her position on anything, particularly if that position is one that's tied to a religious or moral perspective.
If something's wrong, you can guarantee Esmerelda will speak up about it. She doesn't always deal well with groups, particularly if she's not the leader of the group. She is a natural-born leader, and almost enjoys bossing others about. She enjoys having the power of helping others and ordering them about - though she does know the responsibilities that come with that title. She takes her role as the leader seriously, and when she's in "leader-mode," she'll rarely joke around, but get right down to business.
She is very independent, and can take care of herself just fine without any help from others. She's like a backbone - strong enough to withstand most fatal blows. She has a soft interior, as she cares deeply for others, but she has a very hard shell over-top, as she has to deal with a lot of flack from others whom she describes as, "close-minded idiots that don't seem to want to shut up about their wrong opinions." While Esmerelda can seem irritable and irascible, underneath the flaming passion is a heart of gold and motives as pure as they come.

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:
The moment I looked at her I was reminded of the Borg, a group of villains in Star Trek: The Next Generation. I don't have any Borg characters yet, and I'd love to have one. I have decided to slightly base her off of the nicer side of the Borg - specifically of the characters Hugh of Borg and 7 of 9 of Borg, though I really know very little about the latter. I am a HUGE Trekkie, so getting the opportunity and inspiration to take a character and change it to become partly Borg, well, that would just be amazing.
I love this sweetie's color scheme, which is odd, because I really am not a fan of white or brown - but on her, they just seem to go together very well.

Intelligent...but not Perfect
12 is very intelligent. She strives to increase in wisdom and knowledge, and will often spend hours questioning or observing others to learn about them. She also adores computers, and will spend time on them whenever possible, searching the web for the questions within her mind that cannot be solved.
Because of this intelligence, she sometimes has difficulties communicating with others because her mind is essentially a supercomputer. (Example: "Oh, how are you today, 12?"
"Please redefine parameters. I do not know how to respond to such a poorly-worded question."
"How are you feeling today? Are you sick?"
"I am functioning well and at the highest level of efficiency.")
Because of her complex, computer-like mind, others may think she is insulting in her responses to poorly worded statements. She thinks just as quickly as she speaks, due to her brain working speedily on syntax and language...though she can sometimes sound robotic in speech, due to her strict terms about speaking. She doesn't use contractions (can't, weren't, ain't, etc.), so this may add to how robotic her speech sounds.

When 12 puts her mind to something, it gets done, no questions asked. If you ask her to stack toothpicks on top of each other to create a 10-foot tower, she'll find a way to do it. She certainly has ingenuity, as she is very creative and original in her ideas to solve problems and fix mistakes. If she knows she's wronged someone, she will do everything in her power to make the person forgive her and make the situation all right.
Her loyalty is unwavering. If she can earn your trust - or you can earn her trust - she'll stick by you 'til the end. She would literally give up her life for her friends to live, and really doesn't fret about death at all...though she does wish for a meaningful death, and not a meaningless one.

12 wasn't made for conversing in small talk...or conversing at all, for that matter. Given the choice, she'd decide to stay silent and communicate with another way other than voice. She knows, however, that speaking is the only way to converse with others, and conversing is the quickest way to get answers. Being an intelligent creature like herself, she understands that answers pave the road to knowledge, so she must do everything she can to get some answers to all of life's most difficult questions to answer...or just random questions that pop into her head.
Because of this lack of communicating, she may seem cold and harsh. She doesn't show her emotions frequently - in fact, she rarely shows them at all. While understanding that others may take this the wrong way, 12 doesn't know how to remedy the situation. She just knows what she's always known, and that is this: don't show emotion to those you don't trust. To those that you do trust, only show what emotions are necessary. Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:
I honestly saw her design and fell in love. I don't normally like such simple designs, but something about her just caught my eye. Her pale eyes are lovely, and her silver coat is gorgeous. I love how she only has two paws that are colored, and that they're colored so differently than they normally are in real cats. I also love the necklace on her, as it creates inspiration for the story that I'll be writing about her and her two other friends (seen below).

Personality:
Attempts to be Calm
Quynh tries her hardest to be calm. She sometimes freaks out over important things, but about the smaller things, she tries her hardest to not freak out and stay peaceful. She uses various methods to keep her emotions under control - from counting backwards from 79 (100 is too long, and 10 is too short, and 50 is just plain predictable) to imagining herself on a beach, waves lapping at the shore...well, she's tried everything and anything to keep her mind from freaking out. Most things work, though one thing never has worked for her - some people say eating fattening foods (like ice cream, peanut butter, and chocolate) calms them down, but for Quynh, this method of relaxation has NEVER worked.
Quite honestly, Quynh sometimes fails at staying calm. She gets stressed very easily, and then turns into a cat that won't be stopped - she'll run around, practically tearing her fur out, as she has a breakdown. She hates when these breakdowns happen, though, so she tries her hardest to stay calm in most situations.

Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.

Focused and Helpful...Also, Easily Stressed
Though she may lose her cool from time to time, Qyunh tries her hardest to stay on track and not get distracted. She can be very focused on the task at hand, and loves to work hard. She is happiest when staying busy and keeping to her strict schedule.
While not a natural-born-leader, she is the best second-in-command you'll ever meet. She adores helping others, and takes orders well (if they're from someone she trusts or respects). She would never dream of committing mutiny, unless, of course, it was what was best for the rest of the group of their leader was overthrown. She knows that in the case of the mutiny, she'd take control - which is something she'd rather not do. While she controls her own life very, VERY well, being in control of other beings' lives is a little too stressful for her.
Quynh is overwhelmed very easily. She often wonders if she suffers from too much anxiety. She happens to be a hypochondriac - a being who makes a molehill a mountain. She tries her hardest to not lose control over medical issues, but it's very difficult for her to get past certain ailments that may cause diseases at a later date. Her doctors tell her that she would have less medical issues if she didn't stress so much, but she honestly doesn't know how NOT to stress, as it's merely become an every day thing for her.

I get stressed out really easily.

Caring and Gentle
She is gentle by nature, and isn't rough with anything. She has a certain compassion for children, and loves watching over them - whether that be as a recess instructor or as a friend. She almost has a graceful aspect to her, as she's very calm, cool, and collected on the surface - though she may be screaming with pressure underneath. She puts up a false front for people, sometimes, hiding what she feels inside...but she thinks it's better that way, as she doesn't have to push her problems on someone else to deal with.
Because of her gentle ways, however, she can be a pushover. Beings can easily manipulate her to get her to do what they want. If a child asks for an extra piece of cake, she has a hard time saying no - unless specifically instructed to do so. Her bosses have to write up a LONG list of responses that she has to take in various situations, and as she is very rules-oriented, she follows their rules to the letter - even if she disagrees with them. After all, they pay her to work for them - if she doesn't like it, she can leave and get another job. She understands that she is easily disposable, but even so, she tries her hardest to please her bosses and everyone else around her...though in trying to please everyone, she sometimes stresses herself out more.

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:

What first caught my eye about her was that she reminded me of the Little Sisters from the game Bioshock. They're basically creepy, I find them adorable though, little girls. The specific one she reminded me of was a girl named Sally. Then I just gave her that name because it really is cute and I think it suits her. My brain really likes finding ways to link random stuff to Bioshock these days! Although, I really think it's probably because her eyes are mildly creepy and Little Sisters normally have glowing yellow eyes.

Beyond that link, I am just absolutely in love with her design! Light pink is my favorite color and her color scheme is actually the same one I'd like to paint my bedroom with! It's so gorgeous and girly and definitely my style.

If I did win Sally, I'd use her in my writing, she'd receive her own character page, and some art pieces every now and then. I also use my characters as a way to express myself and bits of my personality. I've always easily bonded to characters and that is even more true when they are actually my own. c:
