@ Kesha_rock - you may most definatly use a lineart. We all use linearts :)

@ Vampire - OH! Neato! I'll do that when i get back

@ Everyone - I have my OWN announcment.

I am in Queensland of Australia (as some of you know) and i am currently under a LOAD of stress. Hendra virus (a deadly disease in which kills horses and humans who go in contact with infected horses) has made its way to my area. I am fretting so much that my 3 horses will catch this disease. Hendra Virus is spread by fruit bats and flying foxes, and being on 9 acers with trees these animals are attacted to, my horses are at high risk. The government has not yet found a vaccine for this and all horses found with the virus must be destroyed. So far my horses do not have symtoms, but we are in a high risk area, and about 20 minutes away in either direction have had horses die. 35 horses in my area are under monitoring.

I may seem very calm posting, but i am incredibly worried, i've been spending triple the amount of time i usually do with my horses and, even though it is good for them to be around me alot more, i am at high risk as well. God i hate diseases.

It's pretty awful. No horses are allowed to be moved (well, they are, but it's better off you don't move them). I'm just glad we don't have any horses next door anymore. Though there is a whole training center at the end of our road about a quarter of a k away.

[center]Actually I did train the second time taking that into account. I knew that you hadn't yet taken the credits from the first training away. So I did the math. I had 116 credits without the 35 from the first trainings being taken away. So really I only had 81 credits, I spent only 71 of those 81 credits. Which left me with 10 credits. Then I got 20 credits from my winnings in the grand prix. So I should have a total of 30 credits./center]

Shadey- I'm incredibly sorry to hear that! Please, don't feel like you have to spend time here doing things for us when there are other things you need to do to help your horses. Horses come first, so don't feel obliged to do any work here. I'm sure we can all manage without you for a few weeks or so if that's what is most helpful for you. And please be careful! I don't know anything about the virus, but wash your hands or whatever it is that prevents it. Are there pastures you can keep your horses in without trees bordering them, or in stalls at night or something? I hope they find a vaccine for it soon!

@ cheeise - hmm.... I'll go over the credits again. I've probably done something wrong (head desk) because what happened was; i did your trainings, added all the credits up, then that was (can't remember the no.), it was 65 credits over drawn, then the grand prix made it 45. So maybe i did something wrong when i added the credits. I'll go back over it though. To be sure.

@ Toppy - I'm being sure i take precatiouns. I'm a little scared for my gelding clancey. He's been really touchy lately and i just come back in from washing him and while doing so he was shifting his weight from leg to leg. Which is one of the symtoms. Though i do have a feeling it's because he needs his feet done by the farrier (pretty badly). But i'm still being quite catious. My dad reacons if any horse is going to catch the virus, it'll be Sam (she's in my barn here on H10). She's a very old little miniture, and he believes because of her age, she'll have more chance of catching it. I have read when feeding horses your better off to feed them under shelter (in a stable or something) or out in the open not under any trees. But, here, there are so many tree's is rare to find spaces without any. But luckily we have 2 spots in the main paddock that will allow me to feed all 3 horses. I haven't had a chance to check Fontane yet. But she seems alright. Actually, she's very friendly which goes against one of the other symtoms 'Depression'. But it just makes me shake my head when i see people moving their horses. They don't realise the danger they are putting them in.

How do the horses catch the disease from fruit bats? Is it from eating someplace where an infected fruit bat or flying fox was?

@Oddly -

Wow, that sure sounds familiar to us Albertans. He had herpies[ that how you spell it? REALLY tired] go through our province area. My trainer went to a show with one of the horses that had a horse that caught it, so we cancelled 4-H and all the arena's closed down and such. It also hit Ohio[ I beleive], so it spread quite a way.

Also, can I switch from selling Mocha to an Adoption instead?

That sounds terrible. But we are still able to transport horses, go to shows and ponyclub and all that. Just i don't see why you'd even try. It would just put your horse at risk aye.

Sure i'll go move her in a sec.

Edit + @ toppy - I have no idea how horses catch it. But i think it has something to do with bat feecee's.... But i'll have a look for what causes it. Because i have no idea, and it would probably help if i did.
