If it's taking some more time, that's absolutely fine, I know it's a bit complicated, take all the time you need, but I wanted to know if you knew of its existence. What's attracting the insects?
the insects were attracted by a beautiful pink flower that fell out the mouth of a deer. The deer was there because he smelled a piece of fur that had been left by a rabbit. The rabbit was there because he saw a patch of leaves that a human had walked through. The human was there to take pictures of a baby bear that was there. The baby bear was there because he smelled some honey near the insects. The insects were attracted by a beautiful pink flower that fell out the mouth of a deer and so on and so on and so on

and that's what attracted the insects

there once was a little old lady, who lived in a little old town. she had a little old cat, that wore a big new hat, and together they traveled that little old town. that little old lady, was out with a little old man, when she came upon a bird, stuck in a big old can. They helped the bird out, but his little old wing, was bent and broke and really did sting. So this little old lady and this little old man, started to make this big new plan. they designed a house, big new and white, to house this bird as he struggled with his wing on the right. the bird still lives there today and the little old lady, has long since passed away

Who left their playing card? by golly someone left their card? Well I'd have to say I think it was that young man over there, the tall coated man who's really two children stacked on top of each other? They were trying to show off magic tricks but the boy on top slipped and they took off running! They dropped a bunch of cards when they run but it looks like the wind carries the others away. Good riddance! I wonder why they were stacked on top of each other like that?

How did the deer get re-painted? A small incident, actually. Caught up in the joy of the first snow of the season, this little deer decided to prance around a bit. Unfortunately, it also forgot that the snow would melt quickly because it was not yet cool enough to stay frozen, and slipped and fell into a mud pit. Despite this, it doesn't seem to mind, seeing as it hasn't bothered to clean itself yet.

(Also thank you for the starter kit! It's very pretty!)

How did the deer get re-painted?
A long time ago, there was a little girl. She loved a little deer figure made of stone, throughout the years of being played with and played with (and throughout the years of the little girl growing and growing) she slowly ceased playing with it, it grew neglected and mossy, and there were cracks cascading through it like tiny ravines. The poor little deer was abandoned.
Yet one day, many, many years later the little girl (..Not quite so little anymore) found it again when she was visiting her old childhood home, it was lying in the grass underneath a large tree. She scooped it up gingerly and brought it back home, where she fixed the cracks and painted it with new, fresh brown paint to look just like a real deer.
And just like that, he was good as new. He probably still sits in that "little girl's" window-sill even now.

What's attracting the insects? A strong perfume put on the terrarium by a butterfly habitat keeper, it looks like it works!

Who's birdhouse is this?
A very, very posh bird lives here. He is quite secluded and will only eat the finest and rarest birdseed. He comes out once in a great while to hunt when he is not given food (How undignified!) and prides himself on having the prettiest birdhouse in the world! (Not that he knows any other birdhouses), He probably looks large and puffy-chested with a grey-ish, black and white coat.

Gosh, crazy rabbits and hares are so forgetful, it must've been them. They were most likely having tea one day and left said teapot behind, leaving it to grow overfilled with plants and flowers.

Who's birdhouse is this?: surprisingly, this birdhouse does not belong to a bird, not anymore... in fact, nobody knows exactly who it belongs to now. however, its been said that, late at night, a sleek, feline looking silhouette can be seen trotting towards the birdhouse, bundles of leafy looking things safely held in its mouth. legend has it the house did once belong to a bird, a magnificent black crow... it had protected the house for months, keeping it tidy with bright red flowers and soft moss inside, though there was nothing to protect it from, as the surroundings were serene as could be, every tiny creature living in harmony between blades of grass and flower petals.

but as the air grew cold and life began to wilt, the crow took off in a glorious flight away from the little house. it knew, just as it dreaded, that the frost would soon attack its beloved home and all that had life around it. a sad but inescapable fate... so it left- nothing but a tiny, wilted black rose in its beak to remind it of its old home...

the crow never met its admirer, the gentle cat which scared away any bird that dared to threaten the house, and pounced at every hiker even peeking at the lovely structure. those that watched from afar saw the bird take off into the gray sky, knowing just as well that it would soon be too cold for the earth to provide enough for the wildlife.

still, they watch silently every night as the same cat makes its way to the house, hopping from branch to branch and craning its next to place each beautiful, live flower onto the house. after all, who else could make sure the nook stayed tidy and beautiful, now...?

Who left their playing card?: three jay birds cackled at one another in the forest clearing. every day they came to the little spot in the forest to feed on mushrooms and play their little card games, enjoying the space like it was their own secret hideout. but they couldnt be trusted- birds were notorious for spreading rumors, and when one jay became sick of the second jay always winning, the third jay was informed of a cheater. the three argued, cawing at each other until the three flew off in different directions, all in a mess of angry feathers. the first bird took a few mushrooms with it, and the third made sure to grab some wildflowers for its family back at home. but the poor second bird, who never actually cheated, took nothing but its deck of cards... well, its deck of 51 cards...

What's attracting the insects?
It’s that strange branch in the middle of the jar- there’s some sort of aura thing coming from it. No-one can work out what exactly it is, but many have come up with theories. From simply saying there’s some sort of ‘magic’ involved to the deepest scientific theories, there’s one theory that is rather unique.
The theory is that the branch has a unique gravitational force, whilst not strong; it is far too strong for anything with its mass. It creates a mini-solar system inside the jar it was placed, attracting insects that orbit around the branch- and this they do actually do. The insects feed on the plants inside the jar, this is what originally attracts them to the jar, but once it’s within the gravitational force of the branch the insect cannot escape from the area and is left circling the branch for the rest of its life. Someone did a theory about this theory and how come the branch has the force it does, but in this theory it was left unexplained.

Who's birdhouse is this?
The bird who lives in there is called Feather. She is ever so nice and loves to decorate things, as we can see by the decoration on the roof. Feather herself has very unusual markings. Her plumage is very thick, when you ruffle up her feathers she looks like a pom-pom. Each feather starts with a coffee brown, moving to a crème and then to a shiny, reflective white that changes colours. She can’t control this, but at times it has coincidentally given her camouflage. In the dark or a dimly lit area it turns to white and grey- it’s true colours, as there is no or little light to reflect off the feathers.
