why do you want this character?

» I want this character because of his very unique design and his overall soft tone. The tone is definitely influenced by his soft design and the colors incorporated into it. The accessories are also quite intriguing and very fun to make background stories for.

where would you use it? what for?

» Stories, art, constant sketching outside of cs, because I am not very talented with a mouse/computer. But I can probably commission someone to draw him digitally.

» Starsigns mother was named Maria, a lovely brown fae, who it is said every bachelor in Paris was after. Elmer was his father, a proud and caring
brute who wanted nothing more to protect his family from harm. The two met in Paris and moved to America once Maria announced that she was pregnant with her child. The reasoning behind the decision is unknown even to this day. They eventually settled into a small apartment in Chicago, Illinois a few months before Maria was due. They did the best they could to keep their rent paid and make sure that the baby pup would grow up in a loving home. The pup, named Starsign, was born in the dead of winter. His parents were overjoyed by the arrival of their healthy son.

Growing up, Star was quite shy and nervous around others as he thought he didn't fit in with them. Even though his parents spoke acquit english, he noticed that the other kids and their parents didn't have the same accent that him and his parents had. He expressed his concerns to his parents. Elmer was quite amused by his sons feelings and told him that the other people weren't as special as they were. He also promised to teach his son french each day after he was picked up from school, and star agreed without any hesitation. That brightened star's day and he no longer felt alienated from his peers and their voices. It did aggravate him when they would ask him what was wrong with his voice. He would retort by saying, "Well, What's wrong with yours?"

The accessories that he wears were both given to him by his parents and have sentimental value to him. The chains were given to him by Maria for his 15th birthday. He was quite confused when he opened the gift, staring at it and then at his mother. His mother chuckled and grasped the chain in her jaws, laying it out along the unusually clean carpet. "Do you see it, the pattern in the links?" She prompted, touching the last two links. Star shook his head, frowning. Maria used her paw to pull his head closer to the links. Engraved on the last two links were his parents names. "This chain represents our bloodline." She explained. "When you get married, you will add your link, and your child after you." The star was given to him by his father, a faimly heirloom that had been passed down through generations and given to him when he was seven. His father weaved a tale of it being on the collar of ancient kings and queens. When he went to school the next morning he wouldn't shut up about it.

When star reached adulthood, he was at the top of his game. He was so excited to go to college and get a job. Have a life of his very own! The thought excited him so much. His parents were so proud of him. They were overjoyed that their son was so successful and were 100% supportive of his endeavors. The young adult finished college with flying colors and got a job at one of the towns local high schools. He became a counselor. Why a counselor when he could've been a French teacher or a translator? His reasoning is that he's always wanted to help people. Whether that be pitching into his parents rent when his father lost his job, or helping a complete stranger with groceries.

Heya! My username is artsy_horse! I am a Christian in grade 8, and have a passionate love towards all things Horse. I also adore Nutella, all animals, birds, more animals, chocolate, photography, my pets, and drawing/painting.

Why do you want it?~
First of all, what is such a gorgeous character even doing here!? Like, who could not want her?!?
I would like her, because I think she is such a beautiful character! I never really adopted any characters before (as I have my own little adoptable’s) but I would like to start collecting. If I win, I will most definitely show it off in a special thread with a link to The Pound of love. (I will also keep all of my other characters in that thread).
So, you may ask, why do I love it so much?
I absolutely adore the line art! Double tails are the way to go! I also love the balloons on her tail. That messy kind of string tie looks super cool. My absolute dreamy on CS in the blue balloon dog, so no kidding. Her expression is perfect and totally suits her name. There is just something wonderful about little thingies that huskies have above animal’s eyes. It adds so much to the character. In fact, I love them so much I put them on my little fox adoptable’s. It’s not a crime to put them on foxes, is it?
But what attracted me to her most was her colour and shading. Shades of greys and light blues are my favorite colours together. Anything light blue and grey is just amazing!
I really, really like how her legs are shaded. The not blended grey looks so beautiful! Her ice blue eyes are stunning and totally suit her.
I just can’t sum up how wonderful I think she is! Her fur texture, her floppiesh ears, her nose, and her paws are so perfect!

I think her name, Rainy days suits her so well! It matches her grey shades and her rather gloomy but beautiful expression.
If she was mine, I would always call her Rain, as a short form of her full name.

Personality~
If I could choose her personality, this is what I would say!
She has a very soft, but independent personality. She is strong willed, and can sometimes seem a bit gloomy. Very secretive, she tends to be rather shy. Not surprisingly, she doesn’t have many friends but she also doesn’t want them. The friends she has are extremely close. Once you get to know her you will find her nice, but very sensitive. Rainy days is very active, and spends most of her time outside. She has excellent stamina, and enjoys swimming. She can be funny and easy to talk to at times, but generally is serious.
Her hobbies include swimming, running, and hunting/stalking. With her quiet personality, she seems to have a skill in catching prey. Rainy days has a tendency to talk very fast. When she does, barely anyone can understand her flow of superfast words. Rainy days loves collecting objects, such as shiny stones, feathers, and acorns. She has many collections, which are all laid out neatly in her home.
Her weakness? She cannot resist helping a sick or injured animal in need. For instance she will take in and nurture injured birds, and release them when they have healed. She understands prey, from friends. She will not hunt baby animals, even if she is very hungry. Sometimes, though it is hard, she needs to place limits on the animals she helps, as she can get rather exhausted nursing them.
Her strengths include hunting, as I mentioned and what you can call free running. Rainy days can master courses of obstacles at a steady pace. This helps her when she hunts in thick undergrowth.
Rainy days passionately dislikes crowds. Places with many other creatures/animals make her get increasingly nervous.

History~
A tired, mother lay soaking on cold rocks in a small, empty cave. Outside, rain beat down with occasional flashes of lightning. Contraptions rippled inside her, and she breathed heavily after each one.
Finally, hours later, she gave birth to three, small pups. Two of the newborn puppies died, their small chest’s rising, and falling, then forgetting to rise again. Only one tiny pup survived, clamping herself to her mother’s belly to drink her nourishing milk.
Her mother named her Rainy days, as she was born in a rain storm. Her colours also resembled the colour of a wet, grey sky.
Rainy day’s mother died a few months later, leaving Rain on her own. Learning the ways of survival in the wild, she grew in knowledge. Independent, she relied on no one. She learned to hunt and find shelter and water.
Eventually, she settled down in prey rich territory, where she lives now.

Why do you want it, and what will you do with it?: What first caught my eye was it's natural pelt colors, but what really made me desire this cat was the coloration of the items. The blue, yellow and red theme gave a rather Egyptian feel to the character, as well as the symbol on their shoulder. Seeing this, I thought this character would be great to use for an upcoming book I've been planning to write. Seeing that the cat is still realistic colored but has a unrealistic marking, I thought it would fit perfectly in what I'm planning. I'm still working out what the main focus will be for the story itself, however I know this cat fits the criteria I need for it. Most likely, this cat will either be a hunter or an aid cat in the book, but if I had to say which one for sure, they would be a hunter. They will be used as a supporting character, helping push the main character forward in the book. They will be agile and calm, showing the main character how to balance out the evil and the good. They will not necessarily be a good character, but instead the reader will decide how this cat will be viewed as.


Name: Flight of Sun (Sun) This name was given to her not only due to the feathers decorating her body, but how much this character radiates power despite being slender and rather small. She won't be called her full name by those she's familiar with, but when speaking to those she does not know or those of a higher ranking, her full name will be said. Her name comes from a group called the Cats of the Twisted Paths, a group she had left several moons ago due to their harsh ways. The name was given to her by her mother, Shiver of Breeze. This name was given to her as on that day, the sun's movement seemed to slow down. Her other two siblings were named from this as well, being Shifting of Light and Omen of Passing.

History:
"Life has not been the sweetest to me. But I did get to enjoy this world when it was bursting with life..." Sun let the words fall from her mouth as she stared at the distorted sky. She opened her mouth before looking back at Tonic. "You already heard of where I came from... Or is there another reason you keep your claws unsheathed whenever I step close?" Tonic gulped slightly, now noticing the feeling of his claws gripping against the earth floor beneath them. "I'm not like them... At least, I don't believe I am. I never killed a misbehaving kit when told to... Never pushed a sickly elder out of the territory... No, I could never do such things to a cat." She inhaled the tainted air before she spoke again. "I stayed there only for protection. I kept away from the training so I wouldn't be forced to kill the weak. But, it was inevitable they would find me out... It was at sun high when Black crown found me out. That arrogant second-paw never kept his muzzle out of other cats business. He wanted to look good in front of Twisted grin, show her that he earned his position."
"I couldn't allow him to tell anyone of my plans... So I made sure he never spoke another word." She said in a rather calm voice, whiskers not even twitching in the slightest. "That night I went to the herb supply, mashing up the darkest of berries I could find. My mother always told me never to eat dark berries, as I could lose things important to me. I stuffed his daily meal with the dark juice, watching as his big mouth took a large bite..." Her claws slid out, tearing at the yellow grass. "I watched his eyes turn big, the color drain from his fur... And finally his gasps for air as his throat closed on him. I watched him die, knowing I'd be safe."

Nienne is originally a name I used for a character from dragon age awakening. A female human warrior who wields a greatsword. I didn't do much with her past the opening few quests. Now the name belongs to my Cousland in the base game, a female human rouge. Nienne Cousland is a woman who will become Queen and rule at the side of the charming Alistair.

Now for this I can't really decide. I kind of like the idea of her hanging around with one of my bat pony stallions but at the same time I'm not so sure.

What's her special talent?:
Nienne's talent is seeing the chains that hold others down and helping those that are chained to shake off the bindings. In the beginning Nienne thought it meant she was good at bullying other ponies as when her mark appeared it was just after she'd gotten into a horrible fight with another filly at the park. She said cruel things to that filly, things which actually helped the filly to be better in herself.


Personality:
Nienne finds wonder in all things in the world around her, from the smallest creatures to the largest ones. She very much keeps to herself instead of keeping company with other ponies. Posses a strong intelligence and desire to learn which she mostly pours into her work
