Reason for wanting one: I only recently found this species, but they're absolutely gorgeous, and I would absolutely love to own one. This one caught my eye immediately, the colors and markings are just simply perfect, and they go together so well. I love the mix of the purples on the body, and then the light mint green. Just...ack <33

What will it be used for? If I were to win her, I would treat Venere as I would any of my characters. I would definitely order art of her, and of course try to draw her myself, I need more practice with unique species, and this would be a perfect opportunity for me. Actually, I need to practice my writing as well, and I'm sure I could do that with Venere as well.
Describe your Somnei: Venere is a very elegant and graceful Somnei, with a tendency to be as perfect as possible. She isn't easily satisfied, and is usually very critical of her own work. Despite this, she feels a very deep sense of pride about her work, and holds it in higher regard than that of other Somnei. She often doesn't show her affection towards anyone, but instead prefers to keep it to herself. She isn't one to make her emotions known, instead trying to hide them as best she can, usually adopting a mask of indifference. While she is usually more interested in pleasing herself than pleasing others, when it comes to dreams, her only goal is to please the dreamer, although she often forms strong personal opinions about the dreamer. She keeps it to herself, but really, if she doesn't like the dreamer, she doesn't try as hard.

Write a short story for your Somnei: Venere slipped into the room unseen, flitting around the room without making a sound. She stepped daintily onto the bed, curling up in the folds of the soft purple bedspread, blending in marvelously. She settled in comfortably, making sure her position would be comfortable for as long as it took her to help the girl dream.
The girl's current dream was definitely not pleasant. It was full of grotesque monsters and Venere was surprised the girl wasn't awake yet. The girl had a pure heart, but her dreams were born out of fear.
