How about once a month adoptions for everyone and a newbie only event in the middle of the month? All mid month horses that aren't adopted would just be adopted out in the big everybody adoptions.

That sounds like a really good idea. Very well balanced, and it's a lot nicer for the newbies. XD
But I think that there shouldn't be any mythics just for adoption in the Newbie adoptions since those are something people need to work for. ^_^
