Ukiel no longer wishes for woos.

Ukiel sighed softly as so many came up to him, asked him to share the horrors of his past... he figured their intents were good, and there was potential in each of them... so he considered everyone that approached. A few caught his attention - war veterans like himself, mostly, but it wasn't just them.

In his younger years, he remembered how much of a fool he had been. Battles that were fought single-handedly. He'd lost so much in those... he didn't dare count his lucky stars that he survived, lest he lose that sort of fortune.The thought of a companion that could keep an eye on his back appealed to him - maybe, with enough vigilance, he wouldn't find himself so close to death so often. He considered those that offered , and found one suitor, in particular, appealing. The suitor wasn't just one old coot like himself - as much as he could identify with his own type, and as much as he knew they were stronger than they seemed, there was safety in numbers that Ukiel had come to fully respect.

He also considered the appeal of new adventures. Battle veterans like himself... never really could settle down and rest for forever, and the faint itching for a laid-back trip prodded his weary old bones.

With a soft groan, he stood again, and nodded to Valcyon as one would a once-superior officer. His choice in mind, he turned to Tartok and his companions, a tired smile gracing his face. Without a word - he was not, after all, an Ahz of many - he sat beside the group, much like a grizzled old statue.

He had found his new home.

Notes: Dear random number gen... you make me seem biased when I'm not. o_o; Good lord.... I had to stare at the RNG and slot list for the longest time....
There were a couple really, really good applications, though there were a few that I felt didn't much fit him, and so scored lower points (hence the low average). I urge you all to really consider how the Ahz acts when they enter the "wooing ring", especially when I'm judging. I score harshly on things like that, because it just feels like the introduction was skipped over, and you're wooing "just 'cause". :c
If you have any questions when writing the woo, feel free to ask. Making stuff up and guessing are very hit-and-miss tactics, and it cost a lot of total points this round.

I now worship the RNG. Hardcore. It finally liked me~ *flails around happily* Anwyay...I believe this needs to be done:

Silence had reigned in Ahzen since Ukiel had decided not to accept any more suitors; everyone waited in baited breath to see who the elder would choose, each hoping it was them. Including Gavin, Zen and Tartok. They had seen many an Ahz choose another, even though they had given their all; they had learned not to get their hopes up about Ukiel joining them.

However, a soft bark of "Tartok!" from Gavin made the Ahz lift his head from the star maps he was attempting to memorize, a puzzled expression gracing his face as he looked at the young man and obsidian feline. Gavin, however, had his attention focused elsewhere, and as he turned his head in time to see Ukiel sit beside them, head held high.

He had made his choice.

Tartok smiled, and Gavin gave him a welcoming nod, Zen purring loudly in his lap.

"Welcome, my friend."

Anyway, before I get in trouble, I may put up one of my Ahz, if that's alright with everyone? X3 I just have to write an intro, which shouldn't take too long. ^.^;;
