I nodded thoughtfully, I couldn't help thinking about the pokeball in her hand and the words she spoke about Blitx never knowing what it was like to be hurt or abused,
"Do you know if anyone around here sells reins I could use with Blitz?" I asked as I reached out and stroked Blitz as I cuddled Chance.

The boy's eyes blazed brilliantly as Simon nestled himself in the catcher's hands. "Hes strong," the catcher pointed out, smileing up at you. "He will make a great pokemon when you have him trained and leveld."

"But how am i going to leavl him! all he knows is protect!" i take slip's out of my shirt fold and put her on the ground but she crawls up my leg into my sholder

Sweat trailed down my forehead as I peddled fast, keeping my bike up as I furiously raced towards a distant town. I whipped past a sign proclaiming Synta Town. My home town.
Coming up ahead was the Professor's Lab, and I pressed down on the brakes hard, making my wheels kick up dirt and debris as I skidded to a stop. Pulling out a stop watch, I checked the time with a depressing sigh.

Rolling my eyes in annoyance, I set my bike up against the side of the center, shaking out my hair and pulling it up into a hasty ponytail before stepping inside. I didn't own any Pokemon of my own, but I always checked up on the few in the center, content with just playing with them and keeping them company.
I walked past familiar cages, seeing a few new faces. Spending a couple minutes with each of them, I waved to the few scientists that strayed around, occasionally starting up a conversation with them until they were called away for their duties.
It wasn't until I reached the last cage though that I was really excited.
Every day that I came, the same old cage held the same old Pokemon. A small female Torchic always sat near the back, always eager to see me, chirping away when I approached the cage. She was my favorite out of all the Pokemon in the center, and it wasn't until I saw the tiny fire bird that I actually felt content for the day.
Picking it up and holding it as always, I couldn't help but admire the name on her name plate, even though I saw the same five letters everyday that I came. Amara. Paradise.
It fit her so well, and I wished that someday, somone would claim this little girl for their own, treating her well and cherishing her presence.
Okay, so the truth is, I wanted her, but I had no experience and I haven't ever owned a Pokemon before. Well, I guess growing up with them at home kind of counts, but I had never had the self-experience.
Maybe one day.

At the mention of water, Lemmi's head sprang up and her eyes glittered. It seemed water would be wonderful. With a turn, Limmi slipped from your hands. She motioned for you to follow, and quickly escaped into the bushes.

As I snuggled it close, I noticed a shadow approach, the figure of a familiar friend.
Turning around with Torchic in my arms, I smiled and greeted the scientist behind me.
"Hey Naomi."
"Good morning Arianna. I see Torchic is in love with you as always."
I laughed and stroked the small bird's head with my free hand. "Yeah, I guess she's really attatched to me. She is one of my favorites."
Naomi smiled and then nodded. "Well, that's good considering you now own her."
I about dropped the Pokemon in my arms in shock, my eyes wide and mouth gaped open like a fool.
"Are you- are you serious?!"
"Of course. I talked it over with the professor, and he always talked of how you come in and spend time with her, and since no one has taking her, we figured you could use the companion."
All I could do was nod in excitement.
"Tha.. Thank you so much!" I grabbed her in a hug, and with a startled laugh she made a shooing motion with her hands.
"Go on, get out of here. You have some training to do."
Exuberant, I practically leaped with joy over the enclosure, running out the doors with the Torchic still in my hands. It chirped at me in question and I only smiled.
"I was thinking the same thing. You do need a name, don't you?"
The small chick nodded excitedly while I stood there and thought for a few moments.
"How about Amari?"
When she began chirping excitedly, I took it as a yes and laughed once again. "Well then Amari, what shall we go and do today?"

{Your form is detailed and lovely, so I"ll grant you the permisson to join with that pokemon. But as rules state, I or one of the mods are the only ones allowed to control the scientists. So you'd have to edit saying that you go in there and play with Torchic, wishing it was your own or something. Then one of the mods can reply being a scientist, saying that you can have the pokemon. c:

I look at my opponents pokemon as I decide what to do first. Chomper had learned some new moves at the training center so I wanted to test them out. "Alright Chomper, use Water Gun first"
