I'm only going to do 2 more "pokemon" based-ish ones, then I'll do some more pintos and appys

(it's hard to keep them strictly "realistic" looking)

That would be amazing! -grin grin-Rdze wrote:Hmm, may I make a quick request? :3
I think a few of the new WTEs are kind of all based off things and have random gene mash-ups. Could we make a few "normal" colors but with WTE traits, like Maeror, or Sahale, or Abyss? Just a few that aren't pokemon/dragon/other-than-a-horse based, if you know what I mean. And maybe have longer competitions? Based on effort? Because so far, they've been getting a bit weird for being WTEs, such as a raichu one and a piano one. Compared to the first WTEs, I think they've also had less effort put into the forms. Maybe we could have some "old-style" ones like 16, 18, and 20? Maybe even some old-style mane ones?
I think it's the set thing that sort of bothers me, as mainly all artists have been on a single-centered WTE craze, and it's almost like "litters" of them. Compared to the giant array a little while ago.
Just thinking here. Feel free to act like this was never here. ^^
I do still do "normal" horse colors, like my blue roan sabino for adoption right now. The theme-based is just a short thing, and I put tons of effort into each. Doing a theme doesn't mean they have less effort put into them.
As for the long manes, those technically are "retired" except for it passing on to male offspring occasionally. The other artists don't use those lines.
But if you prefer more detailed realistic ones, specifically like the older ones, the staff and I can certainly do more like that if you wish. :3
I kinda do have to agree with Pauseh here...I run 2 adoptables myself {nowhere near as popular as WTEs, but ah well} and even if we {we being me and the artists} do themed ones, I know how much effort is put into each 'series'. Although they do seem to be getting a bit...odd...in colors, I think they're still beautiful as ever.
Sorry if I'm turning this into a debate.

Hey Pause, maybe if you want to do a lot in the Pokemon series, switch to paints and pintos and hide the Pokemon in the shapes of the markings? That might help with keeping realistic?
