Nope.
Depending on it's rarity, you get more than just 1 Shard. Depending on Wishlist, you get a bonus. And depending on the year, you get a bonus too.

So, if a 2012/13 Rare is usually converted into 25 Shards (Which it is), then a 2011 Rare is not 25 Shards, but 27,5 shards (+10%)
Each year gives a boost of 10% ^^
If the Rare is on my wishlist, it gives a 50% boost, which would mean instead of 25 Shards it would be 37,5 Shards. If it's then 2008... Hell yea, that's a total of 90% more.
You don't need to understand it, I'll do the math if someone intends to converse. It's my system, and It's probably a little bit harder to understand. I'm sorry.
