I walked down the cobble stone path, kicking up the reddish brown leaves as they blew across my feet. Suddenly one of the leaves, a particularly orange lump of a leaf, shrieked as I failed to step over it. Fleeing, like a ball of hissing fire, it squeezed through a slit of a gap in the mahogany fence. My eyes, wide with fear as I listened to its heavy breathing from amongst the branches of the hedge behind the fence, glanced at where it had come from then sped to where it had gone.
