Blaise was a hyper girl who could never sit still, which usually got her into trouble. She always wore a simple pair of jeans and a T-shirt, and never really bothered with anything too serious. The one thing she was talented with was animals. She loved them, and not just like the child that is fascinated by a puppy or kitten, but with a burning flame of wonder to understand and cooperate with creatures. She never thought of animals like others did. Many grew to understand them as animals, that was that. Blaise thought deeper into them, how they have feelings, every movement of a muscle in bounding or the grace of a pounce. In this way she could hold a conversation with her alone talking, branching into topics with pets and jokes. Blaise had dark brown hair, always pulled up in a ponytail and out of her face even though a few loose strands always found their way into her eyes. She was tall, decent for a thirteen year old, and the curiousity of a child still hadn't faded off. She was a chocolate tan from always adventuring outside, with vibrant evergreen eyes that sprakle whenever she laughs, which was often. At the time she had on her favorite fire red hoody on, rolled up at the sleeves which she picked at impatiently.
Many times had Blaise heard of Vinara, but never had she seen such color and radiant nature. Her heart pounded with excitement, people crowding the tall stone, even chicldren clinging tightly to a parents hand with their fingers in their mouth, giggling and saying: "Look mummy!! It's so fuzzy!" Before the parent shushed them. Blaise got some pretty nasty looks as she made her way to the front. This must be the Altar! She thought, thinking she would burst before she got there. Blaise tugged at the string on her sweatshirt hood, curiousity brimming as she peered up.
She intaked quickly, and the little breath sent in imense wonder beyond belief. The creatures were magestic, fur sleek and glowing in the sun that dappled between the leaves. There were two, and Blaise wasn't sure if anyone had told her they had two at a time, but she barely took thought of that, smirking like a child found with a hand in the cookie jar up at the two Faerres. The more confident of the two had a blue pelt, that glistened like moving waves in the sea. Blaise could barely see the other, shyly behind the first. Its pelt was magnifisent, and it drew Blaise to dare closer. The first looked straight at her, flicked its tail, and peered around again. Despreate to meet eyes with the shy one but not wanting to scare them, Blaise took out her little notebook from her hoody pocket and started scribbling furiously every detail.
"Hey, move over!" A boy elbowed Blaise to get to the front. His chocolate brown hair got in his face so he'd brush it back every few seconds.
"What's the rush?" Blaise asked, blinking. The boy glanced at her.
"They're the first to go up as two, twins even willing to seperate. I want to blue one!" Blaise was staring at him oddly, then frowned.
"What about that one?" She asked, smiling at the blazed pelted Faerre. The boy glanced at it.
"What about him? He's too quiet, and tiny." Blaise tsked under her breath.
"I meant wouldn't you take them together." she said briskly. The boy snorted.
"Look, it's a choice and I want that one. Now clam it." Blaise watched him stalk away to some other boys, then glanced back up at the red pelted Faerre.
"Don't worry, bud." She murmered under her breath, wishing she could run her fingers through the silky looking fur. The Faerres ears lifted, one little movement. "I want you." Blaise watched the two Faerres nudge each other, smiling at the resemblence in the ears. "And your brother, too. You're both so beatiful, aren't you?" It irked her that the boy would be willing to seperate the two and how hard that would be for two brothers, but how would two, if even one Faerre choose her? Suddenly she felt small, just another person who was aweing at the creatures spread out before them like a gamble. What was the chance she, among so many, could get them?
She clenched her fists in her pockets. A small, small chance. A small, small chance she would take.
