Personality: Cobalt is a very determined young male. Once he sets his mind to a task, there is really no going back for him. He is extremely adventurous and loves nothing more than to break all the rules and express himself in whatever way he pleases. His favorite activities are hunting for butterflies and taking ling walks, but he has cut back on hiking because of how badly it ended all those years ago. Cobalt isn't shy and has a habit of wandering up to strangers and partaking in a conversation with them. He doesn't talk about anything all that interesting, but most people talk back anyway because he seems to have a sort of quality about him that makes him near impossible to resist. Cobalt's downfall is that he dwells on subjects for a bit long. If something bad happens to this young man or anyone he loves, he will often fall silent and feel rather terrible for much longer than he truly needs to. In other words, he has a slow healing process and sometimes it's just better to leave him alone to figure things out for himself rather than following him around all the time and trying to get him to tell you what's wrong. Finally, Cobalt is very friendly. He never judges anyone by their cover and has never really held a grudge against anyone before either. He just likes to look on the bright side of life and erase the negative completely, he feels it just weighs him down too much and prevents him from enjoying the gift of living.
History: About two years ago, Cobalt lived quite happily in a small home in the countryside. He was surrounded by many loving family members, his favourite being his master, Daniel. Daniel had a wife and a small child whom both cared for Cobalt very much. It was no secret that the golden Daeet was extremely happy in his home, with everything he could ever wish for. Food, water and love. One morning, Cobalt was woken early by Daniel's young daughter, Abbey. The little girl's face was alight with excitement. "C'mon Cobby, we're goin on a hike" she chimed excitedly. Cobby had always been Abbey's nickname for him since she was only four and Cobalt wasn't one of the easiest words to pronounce. The family all loaded into the car and headed out to their destination of Hobland Peak. It was an old mountain track that attracted tourists from all over the area because of the spectacular scenery. The four of them pulled up the car and began their walk, Abbey on Daniel's shoulders and Cobalt bounding happily behind the pack. The golden grass was dancing elegantly in the gentle breeze of the morning. The walk seemed to take foreverm but even when they had reached the end, they were wishing for more. Everyone was tired so they decided to take a break before carrying on. Abbey fell asleep under a tree and Daniel and his wife sat down with her, sipping their water and chatting. Cobalt caught sight of a small blue butterfly and began to chase it. He followed it for a long time until it swooped up, much to far for him to reach. With some disappointment, Cobalt turned to go back to his family, but when he reached the tree, they were all gone. Cobalt looked up at the sky and to his dismay, it was dark. He had been gone far too long and his family had left without them. He bolted down the track, but nobody was there anymore. He didn't know the way back home by himself, so he was left wandering all by himself in the wilderness, praying for a new family to love him.

I'm Misaki, despite my girlish name, I am pretty strong. I guess you can say.. I'm a devil in disguise.

I'm always the leader, never a follower. I prefer leading others then following others, it is great to feel you are in charge, but a little stress due to the fact that everyone is depending on you. And when we play sports, I always try to get voted or choosen as leader.


~Fierce~
Ah, my favourite topic. I'm extremely fierce, I dare to scold and use violence on boys. I hate boys like forever. Boys=trouble=me angry. I think you got it, I also have a short temper, but I never use violence on girls, as well, they are my gender. And boys, they are my enemy, always trying to bully us.


~Brave~
I dare to fight against boys, older or not, I dare too. And I always win, because I'm quick, strong and whar's more, I learned fighting ever since young. And I dare to do dares, try things I never tried out before. Because I want to use my life usefully, and try every single thing.

I'm loyal to friends, I won't them at all. I don't really see the use of friends, as I'm always depending on myself. Sometimes, my friends can be a pain. But.. I experienced the feeling of betrayed, and it hurt. So i don't really want to betray others. And to know how I got betrayed, it is in my history.

You mean, " hates being an angel " right? Grr.... anyway, I never dreamt of acting like a goody goody female girly daeet,no way! I got to be cool, and I love being like this. I never panick so easily, I am always calm, and I always have to calm people down because, they are panicking, and they can like die right on the spot. History:
Misaki tumbled onto the ground, laughing at Juliet. Juliet blushed, she turned her back towards Misaki and sat down. '' Stop it Misaki.. ''

Misaki rubbed her nose, '' I can't Juliet. Lo-look at yourself! '' she pointed at Juliet face. Juliet raised her paw, and tried to rub off the blueberry stain. '' I already tried to rubbed off! Let's go back home! '' Misaki teased, '' And leave the blueberry pie behind? '' she smirked. Juliet smacked Misaki's head, '' Ha!Ha! Very funny! '' Misaki walked beside her, remembering what had happened earlier, it was hilarious!

What had happened earlier~~
Misaki laughed, chasing after Juliet around the blueberry pie, they had made earlier in the morning. Juliet was running, when she stumbled on a rock, and landed right into the pie, it was easy to clean off, but the face stain remained, due to the fact Misaki refused to licked it clean for.

Misaki watched Juliet as she washed her face, at the lake, near the waterfall. She grinned, and giggling from time to time. '' Stop it Misaki. '' Juliet said in a '' I'm in charge ''voice. That only made it worst. Misaki fell down, laughing. When she felt a heavy weight landed on her. Juliet smirked, '' You're heavy Juliet! '' Misaki pushed Juliet off, and stuck out her tongue at her. Juliet stuck out her tongue too, that only caused both of them to start laughing. Again.

Misaki walked happily to the waterfall, she hopped Juliet had come here for her dancing lesson. But as a daeet passed by, Lime, she was talking to Ichigo, her elder sister, '' It is a pity we can't have a dancing lesson today.. '' she said. Ichigo nodded, '' Important stuff.. you know.. '' Misaki froze, Juliet said she had dancing lesson today! She walked towards the two sisters, and asked urgently, '' Is it really cancelled, and when? '' Lime nodded, frowning, '' I was looking forward to learning, the spins. It was cancelled yesterday, I just stopped by, inside, to buy a ice-cream. '' Misaki nodded gratefully, and ran towards the dancing area.

Why was I..
such a fool?...

Misaki paused, when she heard voices coming from basement 1 room, when she passed by, she walked quietly, and listened carefully. She could make out, Mr Coy's voice, Juliet's dance teacher, '' Kill her as soon as possible Juliet. '' She frozed, she then heard Juliet, '' I can manage today. Misaki is meeting with me today. I will kill her today. And pass me the money, five thousand bucks. '' Misaki's heart broke, she felt betrayed. It was the worst feeling she had ever experienced in her whole life! Why would Juliet, her best friend do this to her? Why would Juliet need money?

I should probably stop remembering about this...

Misaki backed away, towards the entrance, she accidentally, stumbled down in fright. WHO'S THERE? '' She heard a yell, and footsteps, and she was face to face with... Juliet. Juliet, she trembled, and took out a knife, she aimed towards Misaki. Misaki stood up, and lept onto Juliet's head, and lept off, making her fall to her face. The knife dropped out of her mouth, and slided away, on the slippery floor. Misaki made her way to the knife, and grabbed it, she was too stressed, too tired. She gave up! She yelled in anger, and threw the knife, right at Mr. Coy, but then.. she heard a gasp, and raised her head, Juliet had covered for Mr. Coy, it had stabbed her.

I hate this part of my history.
The rest was joyful, but this will never be.
I can never forget the pain, and forget this.
This is a stain, that can never be washed off...

Misaki cried, and ran away, that feeling of betrayed never left her, why? It was the worst feeling she had ever felt, from that day on, she was never the same as she was. She decided to lock her heart, never let anyone, never ever, let anyone, open it, who knows when one was going to break her already? Break into more pieces that is. It was already broken enough, and it could never be mended again, she was so foolish.... why? From that time on, no one could make her cry, no one could make her love them, her heart was forever locked away, unless, she finally meets her true love, who will understand her pain.

Lost
Taika never knows what to do. Her entire life is a mistake in her opinion. She grew up with everyone telling her that everything she does is wrong. So what do you do if you grew up with everything you did was wrong? That is how she feels all the time. She is always unsure about her actions and tends to regret them. She is known as a worry wuss or a pessimist to lots of people.


Broken
Taika grew up with a broken life and a broken family. She was verbally and physically abused as a kid and she had no friends. She tends to stay away from others, so they let her do her own thing.


Solitary
Taika is a solo and independent person. She tends to do her own thing and can be quite bitter to strangers and people who criticize her. She does her own thing and doesn’t want the weight of others to drag her down.





♠ My Past}-

Here is an event that happened in her past.


“Is that all you do? So I am just wasting my food on something worthless? You are worthless! Evil! Go die!” Kadon shouted at Taika. She had never seen him this mad at her before. She let out a little whimper and backend into a corner; Kadon’s eyes had darkened and seemed to have a fire burning inside. You could feel the rage coming off of him. “I know I am worthless, and cold-hearted! Leave me alone!” She barked back as she felt the courage surge through her. But it soon disappeared as he advanced on her. She tried to escape through the gap between him and the sand stone wall. Just as she was beside him, running for her life, she felt all the air being knocked out of her. She crumbled to the ground, gasping for air. He raised his head high in glory. “Did you honestly think you could run? The world doesn’t work like that!” His bitter tone and gruff voice, echoed through the tent. “I’m sorry for your loss,” She finally compiled. “Ah, you are just saying that to please me. Clever girl, but that won’t work with me.” A devilish smirk was plastered across his face. Just as she felt the air fill her lungs once more, she felt it slip away as Kadon tackled her once more. “Stop! I’m sorry!” Taika whimpered as his teeth dug into her hind leg. She felt a hot tear trickle down her face. “Sorry for what!” Kador mumbled for his teeth were still embedded into her leg. “For not respecting the loss of your friend,” She croaked, as it was barely audible.

Kadon padded away from her limp body, shoving it as he exited the tent. Taika raised herself off the ground and the moment she put weight onto her legs, they gave way. She hit the rough rug with a thud. Groaning she tried again, but to no prevail.
She spent all day regaining her strength and the moment she did what she had always wanted to. She grabbed the large wooden sticks that held up the canopy and pulled them. With a light thud the canopy fluttered to the sandy ground. She craned her neck, searching for any sign of Kadon’s return. As she watched the canopy ruffle in the wind, it brought back memories.

*Flashback*

Kadon had just come back with food from a village about a day’s walk from here. He was grumpy and tired, like he always was. Taika held a bucket of water out for him, but he just pushed it aside and curled up in a ball on the rug. He seemed to drift off, but his eyes were bloodshot and open. He then jumped to his feet, you could see every muscle in his body was tense. “You killed her,” He whispered as he thought back to the night of his sister’s death. He then repeated, “You caused this!” With that he tackled her.

*End of Flashback*

Taika jumped back to the memory of her first punishment, but she quickly pushed it to the side and ran as fast and as far as she could. The sun’s rays casting down on her as it burned down onto the Golden Sea. Not looking back once, Taika was determined to get as far away as possible and not get caught. This was is. After 5 years of beatings and punishments she was going to be free.

Reason for new chosen name:Kiza is a Swahili translation for darkness, which perfectly suit this lovely girls personality and coat color. The name is also a mix of 'Giza', the main Swahili translation for darkness, and Kiara (another name I considered), which is Irish for darkness, spirit and other similar things.



Age:28 in human years; it is quite difficult to calculate that into Daeet years



Personality: Kiza is a Daeet almost as dark as her fur. She has a no-nonsense attitude and prefers to be alone. She often shows contempt and a rather judgmental temper towards others, and doesn't take kindly to strangers. This is mainly because she has been alone most of her life, and doesn't know any other way to act. She is bold, daring, and never backs down from a challenge. Her short temper is probably her Achilles Heel if you will. It usually does not take much to provoke her and humiliating her is a sure way to lose a limb. She is cold and calculating, and doesn't believe in having fun or ever letting her guard down, due to her and her clan's past. Kiza also is very complicated because, though she likes being feared by the other creatures and left alone, she doesn't want to be seen as a monster, like the 'things' that killed her family.


History:Kiza (Rox in her past) lived in a clan of Daeets that inhabited an area of a deep forest. This clan was one of the fiercest and most skilled predators around. Because of this, they hardly had to attack anyone or anything as they could just intimidate opponents with a sharp-eyed glare. However, late one night, other predators attacked the clan of Daeets while they were at their most vulnerable. Many were killed, with only a few survivors fleeing, and young Rox was orphaned in one night. She was old enough to know how to find food and water and Rox learned to survive on her own in the harshness of the woods. Later she took the name Kiza, hoping to revive the ancient ways of her clan and strike fear into the fellow forest creatures. She stays in her own part of the woods, the ravaged land of her late kin and clan. Other creatures of the forest tend to stay out of her way and have even create myths about her, fearing and yet revering her as a godly figure. One such myth tells of how Kiza spent so long in the dark of the woods, mourning and training, that she spent months, maybe even years without seeing the sun, and afterwards her pelt was always a dark, charcoal black color. Another myth states her glowing pale green eyes are magical and hold secret powers, such as hypnosis.

Why did I chose her:I chose Rox (Kiza) as the Daeet I wanted to adopt from the pound because she stood out the most to me, appearance and personality wise. I could already envision what her life might have been like, and she her appearance itself was so powerful. I also prefer darker colored creatures of any sort to lighter ones, just because their colors are usually more bold and appealing to me. And a small and slightly random thing I liked about Rox was the ways her eyes glowed, while most of the other Daeets did not have a glow of any sort to theirs. It showed Rox as a unique and magical creature.



What will you do with her:I will almost definitely put Kiza/Rox in my signature if I am lucky enough to win her. I've waited a long time for a Daeet so I would make sure she wasn't sitting bored somewhere with nothing to do. I might base a story off her or base a character off her if I win (of course leaving all credit to Hornneddragon and not stealing anything about Daeets)
