Background: One day everyone will be free. That's what the owner of the carousel used to say. He used to hum it too, I think it must be part of a song. Whoever wrote it was horribly wrong and naive. Yes, maybe one day every living thing will be free, but what about us? The inanimate objects, that can only sit around and wait for someone to use them, to bring them alive for such a short while. What about us, hey? How can we ever be free? Yeah, that song writer didn't know what they were on about. Humans, taking everything for granted without one single thought for the mess they're leaving behind. The mess and broken hearts. I don't think they care either. But in some ways, you can't really blame them. I mean, can you feel sorry for a rusty, rotting old carousel horse, with a forever unruly look on it's slowly peeling face, the saddle on it's back damp and crumbly, the metal bit in it's mouth tasting rank and sour? Do you wish you could take it from it's pedestal, wish you could lay it to rest under the soothing light of the moon? Has your heart ever twinged painfully as you pass by the abandoned fairground that everyone fled from as a scorching fire licked my iron hooves, only stopping when a freezing shower of rain doused it's hungry hold on my sturdy feet? Of course not. Humans don't care for us. And you never will, just face it.

"I will!" Clarissa called over her shoulder at her father, tossing her satchel back over her shoulder. It was a frosty November night, and as soon as the girl stepped outside she shuddered, her breath misting into clouds in front of her face.
"Bloody freezin'" Muttered as passing man, heavily wrapped up with a scarf covering his face, giving him the appearance of a mummy. As Clarissa bit back a giggle, the man gaze her a quick glance, his blue eyes sparkling with pre-Christmas mirth. "You should be inside lass. Shouldn't be out in this, no way sirrie." Nodding absently, the girl watched him past and then hurried onwards, burying her hands inside her jacket.

Personality:Swift as a shadow, Silvermoon flits in and out of dreams and visions. More imagination than substance, she appears only to those she wishes to appear to. If she stood in front of a crowd of thousands, only the little orpphan girl would see Silvermoon, as Silvermoon gave her new hope. Kind and wise, Silvermoon is a silent specter floating on the edges, giving help where it is needed.
Background:Her mother, a wild mustang living in the mountains of Colorado, fell into a forbidden love with a freisan ranch horse, she became pregnant with Silvermoon. One misty nigh, she slipped away from the herd, and gave birth to her daughter. The mustng left her newborn foal in the care of the night goddess, who raised SIlvermoon, and taught her all she knew. Silvermoon now serves the goddess, who is her best friend.
Other:Yeah...not sure where that came from. I love it though! Might make some additions as I get mor inspiration. I hope I am able to give Silvermoon a home

What do you plan to use this adoption for:
As a fursona. I don't have a horse fursona yet, and this horse is perfect for me. I also want to write a story for her.
Personality:
Starlight is kind and will help anyone in need. She likes Dragon People the most because one helped her when she was hurt.
Background:
Her mother was a beautiful grey pegasus. Her father was a black Arabian. He was amaised at this beautiful creature that flew before him. They fell in love and one thing led to another. Sadly, her father was taken away by some humans and her mother flew to the mountains. When she was old enough to fend for herself, her mother flew away, desperate to find her lost love. And she never returned. Starlight tried to get down but fell and hit her head. All she remembers is that her name was Starlight.
Other:
She cannot use her wings yet, as she does not know about them.

What do you plan to use this adoption for: I just thought that he was cute and decided I would like to adopt him and make art of him and such.
Personality: Laid back, calm, and shy.
Background: Run Hero run! His mothers cry rang out and he darted forward, away from the wolves. A huge wolf was right behind him, snapping and growling the whole way. He must have tired out, because you heard slower and slower paw steps. Hero still ran, fearing for his life. He suddenly felt the ground go out from under him, and landed face first in the heavy snow. He looked back and realized he had tripped on a very large rock. He got up and shook off. His stomach growled with hunger. He looked around. He saw a small little house and trotted slowly up to the door. Then he let out a little puppy howl and heard footsteps come closer. He saw the door creak open, and two faces look at him. "Awwww, a puppy!" said one, "lets keep him!" The other voice said, "well, I guess we could, considering its almost Christmas. He looked at the puppy and said, "How about a great Christmas home?" Hero wagged his tail and smiled, in a way. "Look Daddy, he is smiling!" The father turned around and said, "What do you know, he is!" Then he sharply looked up and said, "Now remember, this is an early gift. Now lets bring this pup inside. And he lives there to this day.
