What place does this adopt come from?: He comes from Kilauea which is an active volcano in the Hawaiian Islands.
A random fact about them: The volcano of Kilauea is one of the youngest and also is said to be the home of an ancient volcano goddess Pele.

I use GIMP for all my pixel art. Its a free program and pretty simple and easy to get around. It doesn't have all the fancy things PS might have, but you really don't need that stuff with pixel art anyway c:

gender: male; his name is feminine, but he is nevertheless male
is he enjoying the attention?: izar loathes attention, to be blunt. he enjoys lounging around in the heat and closing his eyes, but whilst he does this, the light tends to reflect off of his luminescent scales, catching the attention of bystanders. he is quite grumpy, so having eyes on him makes him retreat to a place he cannot be seen. sometimes he enjoys watching his own scales shine like the night stars himself, but when mere humans, as he views them, take the time out of their uneventful lives to oogle over his sparkling scales, he grows annoyed. however, when viewed by a small child or a human he deems worthy of observing his own personal stars, he may find himself showing off without realizing it.

What toy is their favorite, and why?: Iggy's favorite toy is a stuffed animal named Azul that resembles a blue butterfly. The reason it is his favorite toy is because it was his first toy and it has been with him since he got it. Azul also doubles as a comfy snuggle buddy when Iggy is sleepy. Another reason Iggy likes Azul so much is because unlike Iggy's dull green colors, Azul's bright blues seem to attract quite a bit of attention.
Personality: Iggy is more of a quiet type until he gets to know you. When he does get to know you watch out! He loves to bounce and romp around, oh and play a variety of games...lots of games.

What place does this adopt come from?: Native to a vast, scorching desert broken up by deep canyons. Bare rock and sand can stretch for miles in shades from the palest tan to deep crimson and everything in between.

A random fact about them: Depending on his mood, his markings change. Any sort of excitement makes them more vivid while sadness and lethargy cause them to fade to being barely visible.

Personality: Ardiendo is very passionate. Anything he does he puts himself into 110%. This can sometimes be very rewarding for him, but other times it just leaves the little guy feeling burnt out and exhausted (lol fire puns.) When he's feeling energetic he loves to play and is practically bouncing off the walls. Once he gets tired he can and will sleep just about anywhere: sprawled on the floor, draped over the back of a chair, inside a log, or in someone's lap. This makes him a bit hard to find when he's napping.

I picture him being the sort of companion who greets you excitedly when you get home, jumping all over, running between your feet and almost tripping you, impossible to miss. But a couple hours later when you want to take him for a walk, you have to spend 20 minutes searching the house until you notice the very tip of a tail sticking out from under your dresser.

What toy is their favorite, and why?: He loves his squeaky ball. It is the perfect size for his mouth so he can easily carry it around squeaking it, or throw it in the air and try to catch it. It's also very bouncy which makes it fun to chase.

Personality: A quiet sort, Reski is happiest where he feels safe and comfortable. Most of the time this means staying at home, but short, peaceful walks out in the woods can be nice from time to time.

What place does this adopt come from?: Genetic Lab 03. It is situated on a mysterious island where experiments normally banned from society took place, away from where the results could hurt anyone. This foreplanning was excellent. The desolate island, away from any charted territory, protected civilization during a mass break-out of the unusual test subjects. They now roam free over the abandoned rock, having never seen by human eyes since their escape, a fortunate fact considering their appearance now. Emberell was one of the fortunate ones, having been in the early stages of testing, when the scientists were experimenting with creating dragons by mixing fire and lizards. He is the result. One scientific expedition later, he was brought back to charted lands, where he waits now for an adopter.
A random fact about them: Emberell, despite his element, is a rather good swimmer for short periods, his radiating heat preventing sea creatures from coming too close and keeping him from freezing in the icy waters.
