Nyyyyeeeeeergh, I'm going to have to give in. v.v Are you going to be closing the round today? Or are you going to wait since there aren't any forms? It's going to take me a bit to write up a form, so if you're planning to close, I'll wait for you to officially re-open. ^^;

Why I want it : I adore Geese. They're goofy, odd sort of birds, that are like graceful swan's awkward cousin. Even their honking is a silly sort of sound. But they're an endearing sort of odd. <3
Canadian Geese migrate through my area every Spring and Fall, Currently, there's a family living on the farm where I work and I see them daily. Despite their strange mannerisms, they're bold and fiercely protective of their goslings. They have enormous character and I've grown very fond of the species. So now, seeing that one has inspired a design for an Avaydian, I'm immediately drawn to it as this is one of my favorite created species, though it took me some time to give in to the temptation. x]

Why I want it :Its so colorful and fun it makes me want smile i always have dark pets it makes very sad and lonely but when i saw this i felt very happy and silly and it reminds me of my best friend who would always cheer me up when i was sad and shes moving away which is kind of hard for me because we knew each other for a very long time but this pet reminded me of her so that's why i want it^^

Why I want it :

I've always adored this species, and I wondered where they came from. I see them occasionally around Chickensmoothie, but not that much. Regardless, I fell in love with them. I love big cats, so much, and this species is so beautifully made. Their information is well-thought-out and detailed. The designs are inspiring in themselves and I've always wanted to own an avaydian of my own.

Anyway, why do I want this guy? I love him. Yellow and green are two of my favorite colors, and these shades go very well together. I especially love the minty green that was used. The design is ornamental and elegant, it looks really well thought out with a lot of little details that catch my eye when I look at him. He reminds me of the wind, the outdoors and freedom, especially since his wing length is long compared to the other pens currently up for adoption. He is truly inspiring and beautiful, and I would be very honored if I got him. ^^

Personality:

-Brave-: Aither is a brave avaydian, he really doesn't show fear towards anything. It's true, he may dislike some things, but he will never show fear. He will stand up to anyone or anything, no matter what his odds are. This can get him in trouble at times, but he believes that it is not right to show that you have fear.

-Proud-: Aither is proud of everything he has accomplished. He likes to brag and show-off. True, some might dislike it, but he only brags of things that he is truly good at. He will not say he is good at swimming, because he is not, and he hates it, but if asked about his flying abilities, Aither will gladly put on a show. He adores attention. He also does not take well to being wrong, he will argue until either he proves to be right or until the other gives up. It's rare that he admits his defeat.

-Brash-: Aither is tactless in his words, he doesn't exactly know what it means to think before you speak. He's impatient and energetic, a combination that makes it so that Aither wants to be doing something all the time. He loves to talk and he will talk your ear off if you let him. Of course, Aither does not mean to be unkind usually, but that is just how he works. He says what's on his mind and he wants to let his thoughts be known.

-Social-: Aither would be described as "socially awesome" rather than socially awkward. Even though Aither tends to hog the conversation, he's rather charming and knows how to make conversation. Aither's speech is engaging and he knows how to make any topic interesting. He hates to be alone for long periods of time, and tends to need social interaction. Aither will gladly have a conversation with anyone who he doesn't dislike.

-Charming-: Although Aither lacks interest in a steady relationship, he's a big charmer. He knows just what compliments and actions to use to make others swoon over him. He really loves to build relationships, but doesn't always like to follow through. He's a bit of a player in this regard, but he's not afraid to build up others' self-esteem. He honestly means the things that he says, he just doesn't like to stay committed.


Likes:

Flying - His favorite thing in the world to do. He's often found hovering in mid-air rather than simply standing or sitting. He's active, so he tends to wander around in flight.

Talking- Aither loves conversation and he will talk for hours. Mostly him talking, but he does enjoy listening to others for a bit too. Aither just loves social interaction.

Showing Off- Being as proud as he is, Aither loves to show others his talents. He loves attention and he loves everyone to know that he's awesome.

Adventure- Aither loves to explore new places and experience high-energy, high-stress situations. He wants his adrenaline pumping and he wants to see the world.

Trying new things- Aither will try nearly anything if it doesn't harm others. He likes to say that he's done it, pretty much no matter what it is. He just can't do it if it's going to hurt someone else.

Open spaces- Aither wants lots of free space to fly around and be free. He wants to be able to stretch his wings, fly, and prance around. He loves open spaces where he can freely move.

Epic Stories- Although Aither tends to like to do the talking, he loves tales of adventure and action. He will sit with someone for hours on end listening to their great stories. It just gets his blood pumping!

Being Right- Aither wants to be right, all the time. It's as simple as that.

Light- Aither needs sunlight to function, he has a bit of seasonal depression occasionally. He believes the sun is the source of all life, and he really appreciates it, he hopes to see it one day, it's his biggest dream.

Dislikes:

Loneliness- Aither honestly can't stand being alone for long periods of time. He's an extrovert, and feeds off of the presence of others. If he's alone for long periods of time, it either depresses him or makes him anxious.

Having nothing to do- Aither has to be busy all of the time, he can't stand having nothing to do. If there's nothing to do, he tends to fly rapidly in circles.

Being ignored- Aither is a proud avaydian and if anyone dares to ignore him, he demands attention and throws a fit. He must be paid attention to, for he is Aither, the most athletic, awesome avaydian ever! (At least, he believes that...)

Darkness- Aither doesn't fear darkness, he just dislikes it. He doesn't like not seeing the sun and he doesn't like the vision reduction. He generally goes to sleep as soon as the sun goes down, because he doesn't want to wallow in darkness.

Being lectured- Aither hates to be scolded, corrected, or taught lessons. He tends not to listen, or just stares with a vexed look.

Background:

Aither was born in the Humaeus, or "home" and still lives there. He's heard many tales of the upper world and is extremely curious about it. He wants to see it one day, with all of his heart. He knows there are tubes that lead up there, but no one will tell him how he could possibly get out. He knows Humaeus is safe and it has everything he could ever need, but he wants the challenge and the adventure. He tends to fantasize about the surface a lot and is often seen flying back and forth at the top of Humaeus, looking for an escape.

Other than that, Aither lives a pretty normal life, other than taking many dares and trying out dangerous tricks or games. He tends to be accident-prone, but Humaeus makes it easy to recover from any mistakes. Aither doesn't tend to associate with his family much anymore, but he still checks in with them occasionally. He's slightly bitter his parents won't tell him how to get out, but he still loves them regardless.
