Name [of pet]: Angel
Gender [of pet]: Female
Breed/Species [of pet]: Cat
Personality [of pet]: Angel is a happy-go-lucky cat. She is very playful; always playing instead of working. One of her best friends is Mr Oinkington, who she talks to when she gets lonely. Even when she's down, Angel tries to look on the bright side of things.
LikesHer best friend (or one of them) is Mr Oinkington. She likes her special cat food "Meow-Pawz" . It is her favourite.
DislikesAngel get very annoyed when other people correct her (even if it's for a good cause). She also dislikes cheese and sweetcorn, for some strange reason.
Background/History [of pet]: “..Meow?”
The soft breeze rattled Angel; she had no idea where she was or what she was doing there. She wanted to be back in her own soft, fluffy basket-not in a cold, box on a miserable lorry. Angel poked her head onto the plastic sheet that concealed her in the box. A bleak sky to match a bleak cat. Turning around, Angel grabbed Mr. Oinkington and pressed him to her face. With Mr. Oinkington, everything was okay. But, really? A cosier and warmer accommodation would have been nice. Being separated from her mother and her siblings and her owner was heart-breaking enough. Anna (her beloved owner), who understand what Angel wanted even if others couldn’t. She was always there for Angel; Angel had no idea why Anna hadn’t saved her from the grabbing hands. Bella (her mother), caring and kind, also always was there for her. Maybe she hadn’t known? Ruff and Tuff (the twins) were the kittens of the family. They were both very playful, but Ruff was the quieter of the two. Waking up from her daydream, Angel rubbed her head. There still was no noise, except from the quiet tunes emerging from the radio. Angel sniffed and smelt a sweet smell. How did they know? A huge tin of Angel’s favourite cat food was sitting right behind her. Fortunately, the box was big enough (and had air holes; rather large ones) for Angel to comfortably turn around in. She sat down the other way and started to eat.
If I can’t escape, then I may as well do something with my time.As soon as she got full, Angel blocked out all of the sounds and tried to pretend that she was back with Anna and her family… Eventually, Angel fell into a deep sleep…
Angel woke up with a start. She had had a horrible dream; she had been carted off to a dump, without her family or owner. All the horrible rubbish was smothered all over her, until she was gone. Horrible dream. Angel shook it out of her head before anything else happened. Angel’s curious claw pushed the plastic covering; trying to escape. It didn’t work; the plastic was very strong.
Angel remembered a time when her mother was speaking to her.
“When you think you’re alone, you are never actually alone. You always have someone.”
Angel felt emotional when she thought of her family. Here she was, on a truck with no one to care for her. Even though Angel
tried not to be a big baby, she couldn’t help but being scared now. Who wouldn’t be scared in an unknown place with unknown animals and people? You would, wouldn’t you? Angel was sure something bad would happen. She expected the worst even if she didn’t want to. Angel took a huge breath. Mr Oinkington floated above her, prodding her ears. Angel couldn’t be sad when Mr Oinkington tried to cheer her up. What was the point in being sad, when someone tried to cheer you up? Half-heartedly, Angel pawed the roll of wool that had also been left behind. The truck jumped, like it had gone over a speed bump or something similar. Angel shrugged and curled up, wishing to go home.
The box (that Angel had been confined in) had been slashed open. Angel felt dizzy but free. She gasped. She
was free. No box, no nothing! She just had to find a way back home. The box with food, shelter and warmth would probably be useful, too. The sky was dark, and Angel pulled the box over to a field that appeared to have juicy grass filling it. Not that cats ate grass. She dragged out the soft blanket and lay it on the grass. Angel fell asleep, and hoped it would be a good one.
When Angel woke up, it was bright. Her eyes took a while to adjust to the light. As they adjusted. Angel brought out some of the cat food and started to eat, like she hadn’t eaten in months. She would have eaten a horse, if she was offered. There was a small pool by a red shed in the field. Angel ran over to it for a drink. Oh, that drink! The water was cold and refreshing. She also gave herself a good wash, before putting all her belongings in the box. A brilliant idea came to mind. Angel found a hole in the box, and found some string lying around. She tied the string through the box and onto her tail; tight so it wouldn’t fall off, but not too tight that it hurt her. This place was unfamiliar; Angel didn’t know if she was going the right way or not. But at least she tried. Trying is better than doing nothing at all. Angel padded to a corner shop. People stopped to pat her. One person bent down and checked her tag. They muttered something and picked Angel up. While speaking soothing words to her, the mysterious lady carried Angel to a car. Angel listened to the soothed words and assured herself that nothing bad happened and that she was going home.
After a fifteen minute drive, they got out and the lady opened a door. A man was inside the house and started speaking to the lady. Angel quietly ate the food she was given. The lady put Angel in a soft but unfamiliar basket and Angel fell asleep straight away.
When Angel woke up, she was in the same car with the same lady. Angel wished that she was going home, even though the lady was very kind. With the close of an eyelid, Angel was asleep again. The past few days had just been so… confusing and draining. Angel just had to rest for a bit more.
“Aw, darling, look at the cat! She’s asleep again. She must have had a hard time. But I know that she will be taken care of. I would keep her, but we just don’t have the time…”
“I know, honey. But I know they will look after her; we’ve known them for quite a while know. We can always check up on her. Don’t you worry.”
“Well, I know that it’s all good. Let’s hurry up.”
There were people looking at Angel, she could feel it. She opened her eyes and 4 pairs of eyes greeted her. 2 were the man and lady that took her here, and 1 one was a little girl with blonde pigtails. 1 was a cat, a calico. The girl started whispering excitedly to the lady and the man. The cat just looked at Angel and Angel stared back. The lady picked up Angel and took her to another room. A taller lady with a uniform inspected her. Nothing was wrong with Angel, except that she was a bit cold. ANOTHER lady scooped up Angel with loving hands and put her in a playpen with all the other cats. Angel started showing off, one of the things she did best. All the other cats started laughing and they all played together. Angel didn’t meet up with her family again (or her owner) but she was loved and cared for by another family, when she was adopted from the agency.
“I knew she would love it at the Symphony Adoption Agency. What did I tell you, darling?”
Use [for pet]: Because this will be my second character, I'm making a website for my characters. (Also my fursona, when I get round to making her.) I also want to get/make lots of art for her. I love cats (even though I'm not allowed one myself ¬_¬) and cats perfectly represent me. I'm independent and I sleep a lot xD. I would be overjoyed to get this cat. She is perfect in every way possible. I would be over the moon to get her.
Other:Keep this here. :'D
