the land of faerres { Sih likes shiny things }

The warrior accepted the parchment silently with a dip of his head before turning around to run to deliver the message. Now left alone you decided to explore eslewhere, waddling through inches of deep virgin snow, you hopped and you pranced in joy. Winter was always an exciting season with new surprises. Too excited in your game with the snow, you tripped on your paws and began rolling downhill at an alarming rate. As you roll you bunched up together, hoping to reduce the damage when you do collide before noticing that you're gathering snow around your furled body. It became a comical sight as you turned into a humongous snowball that bowled everyone and anyone in your path. Though scary and a little surprising you couldn't help the excited laughter bubbling from your lips. You crashed and exploded with snow fluttering everywhere, landing on your backside with a foolish grin on your face. Just then you noticed something flapping in the distance, curiosity perked you wondered if you should approach the mysterious object?

After you finished you noticed the absence of reply and you lifted drowsy eyes to find that the old Faerre had fallen asleep. Giving in to a wry smile you tip-toed away from the sauna, leaving the old Faerre in his sleep. Ducking from the sudden chill from outside, you quickly scampered to the treatment house, hoping to find a towel or dryer to dry yourself before you catch something nasty running around wet in the cold air. Your paws slipped on a slab of ice that sent you skidding across the ground and colliding into something. That 'something' gave a groan of pain and you quickly scrambled away only to find your limbs getting even more tangled in the mess. After a few complicated and confusing twists you managed to untangle yourself from the Faerre you had collided into, quickly you slipped into a bow to apologize when you noticed that the Faerre was chuckling.

"That was not how I expected to be found."


You lifted your eyes to the Faerre smiling at you.

"But, it was fun. Am I to assume that you're also the one soaring through the air a few moments ago?" the Faerre laughed. "I'm Raieb and now you have to convince me to stay with you." a mischievous glint entered the Faerre's eyes.

You found Raieb! Convince him to stay with you!

You swat the little monster away with ease and the little creature was sent rolling away across the pure white room and landing with a splat. A disgusting sizzling was heard before the creature you had thrown away disappeared with a puff of green smoke. Unease stirred through the rest of the creatures, but they didn't stop their advance, their jaws snapping and hissing. All six remaining little beasts leapt at you and you only had a second to decide on your actions.

3…2…1… the bugles sounded the end of the round and you were announced as the winner. Your opponent got up from the ground and smiled sheepishly at you. "Heh. Sorry 'bout my manners from before, you're not bad though." he grinned, humbling accepting his defeat before being ushered away. Faerres took your hand and began leading you away again, someone pinned an award to your chest and they left you in the changing rooms of the battle stadium. Perhaps now you'll be free to explore the area more carefully? Keeping an eye on the Faerres, you quickly slipped from the room and began exploring through the hallways until a young Faerre bumped into you. "Oh!" recognition gleamed into her eyes and you felt your heart drop. "You're the lady that won the previous round!" she squealed and quickly you covered her mouth before dragging her away to a shadowed corner, placing a finger to your lip to signal for silence. The young Faerre nodded and you released your hand, grinning at you with admiration in her eyes. "Oh! Oh! You're amazing you know? Your moves are so awesome! Where did you learn them? Can you tell me more about yourself?" the young faerre gushed.

Continuing on your way you weaved gracefully around the shops on the harbor, admiring the sea view and the peaceful atmosphere of this area. Ships bobbed with the waves dancing along with the white curling foam, fishes that leaped teasingly from the watery depths to disappear just as quickly. You began to slow down, taking in the amazing view when you heard splashing and an awkward scream for help. Shocked out of your observations you turned around to find a small figure flailing around in the waters. You turned around in a circle, frantically trying to find something that could help. There's a car tire, a rubber duck and a crate of oranges closest to you.

What should you do?!

Stalking over to the children's section, you skipped nimbly to the side to avoid the occasional running pup and flying books. The noise in this section seem to have increased and even though the children's section was definitely less creepier than the mystery section -and with a refreshing lack of snotty nerds- the noise here was almost unbearable. Your ears pinned backwards to mute out the noisy chatter of young pups and your eyes glanced warily at the tall bookshelves. Nothing. Heaving a sigh you began to turn away when something caught your eye. Something flashed in the light… you turned back and approached the bookshelf warily. Noticing something stuck in between two books, tempting you to take it out and investigate.

I glance at the at the mysterious object, I was a little scared, would it hurt me? I shook my head, I walked over slowly, worried about the mysterious and flapping object. Maybe, it was some injured faerre! I ran over quickly, worried and a little scared.

Azbel sighed softly to herself. First she fell in the bobby trap, and now she was mistaken for a ghost? What was with her luck? A breath of wind ran down her spine and she stiffened. But what about the ghosts? Well, if this crazy old faerre thought that she was a ghost, who knows if there are actual ghosts. He had asked for how long the barriers had been open. Math had never been her strong suit, but Azbel set to calculating. “The barriers have been lifted for almost 9 months,” she announced after a couple minutes of trying to do the figures in her head. “Or 8 months, and 24 days, to be precise. Well, give or take a day or two.” She awaited the old Faerre’s answer, tail swishing.

I’m so sorry that this is so late. I got a bunch of stuff dumped on my plate all at once, and this slipped my mind completely. I’m sorry! T.T

Um Taiyo before I reply I noticed that you originally sent seven creatures at Katherine,she took out one,but where did the other three suddenly come from?
I just thought that was a bit odd that more suddenly appeared without you adding it to your post. ^^;;

What was this?! Even though he expected some young children running around, he didn't expect a madhouse! Do the parents even regulate their children? he thought in dismay, pinning his ears down to muffle the sound. That was only a bit better, but at least it made a difference. He scuttled away from scrambling children and dodged the flying books the children threw. "Maybe the Romance section might have been a much better idea. Even though there may have been couples, at least they would have kept to themselves," he sighed as he stepped over a stack of books.

Then he saw a little gleam wedged between two books. Why, I wonder what that might be, Phyrrinos mused as he stared at the gleam. I don't suppose it will hurt to see what it is? he thought, as he decided that he would investigate it.

Thinking fast she reared up like a horse and brought her claws down on two of the creatures as they leaped up at her pinning them on their backs.This was about the time she was grateful for having tails with some common sense.Her fox and alligator tail whacked another two creatures away from her side,only leaving a small shallow scratch from one of the creatures claws.The smallest tail manage to fling another creature away from her."I think that's all of the-" she was cut short by a sudden jolt of pain in her back leg.Katherine snarled and saw one of the creatures has manage to land a bite,its disfigured jaw clamped tightly around her leg."Get off yah freak of nature!" she snarled and with a hard kick from her robotic back leg sent the creature sprawling onto the ground.She lifted her paws from the two she pinned down and quickly swatted them aside in anger.Her bitten leg just lifted slightly off the ground not wanting to show the odd creatures that they did land a blow.These things better not have poison she thought to herself taking a quick glance at her bitten leg.

(Ugh, sorry for taking so long, I totally forgot to reply to this, hopefully this doesn't nullify me from the event. Dx)

Hearing the scream, Nocte immediately leaped (or flew, really, she was an aerial creature after all) into action. Thanking the fact that she had quite good motor skills, for otherwise it would have been impossible for her to have reacted quickly to this new uptake, she flew over to the car tire, hooking it onto the edge of her tail. Taking flight once more, she hovered in the air, and with careful precision, released the tire from her grip, next to the figure flailing about in the water, hoping that he or she would calm down enough to grab it.

(Hopefully car tires are buoyant? I'm not sure about this, but I do hope they are. xP)
