This is going to be my last reply post for tonight! Tomorrow I have to go car shopping because mine's alternator blew up (wish me luck, I'm so nervous lol) but I'll try to get another out before I leave the house.

Algernon lucked out, and while in the tunnels found a whole cluster of gems! They left the shards and instead took the biggest they could get their paws around.

Xanderite was determined to find gems for the Squinx, and ventured down a tunnel that looked as if it had been disused for years. They came to a fork -- the left smelling as though it might lead to water, and the right dark and ominous. Which should they go down?

Other: Garnet is so thankful for all the help Pixel Island is giving, that she decided to help out as well! After all, who better to know a cave system than someone who's a Squinx herself?

Garnet was determined to find gems for the Squinx, and ventured down a tunnel that looked as if it had been disused for years. She came to a fork -- the left tunnel short and wide, and the right tunnel tall and narrow. Which should she go down?

Other: Freckles is eager to give it a go! :3

Freckles was determined to find gems for the Squinx, and ventured down a tunnel that looked as if it had been disused for years. She came to a fork -- the left tunnel sloping upwards, where as the right went steeply downwards. Which should she go down?

With a quick whisker check, Garnet decides against the tall and narrow, choosing the short and wide tunnel on the left.

Freckles is daring, and thought going up would be counterintuitive. She takes a dive down the right tunnel.

Garnet ventured down the shorter of the tunnels, the fur of their back still grazing the ceiling though they practically crawled. Eventually the tunnel grew tall enough for them to stand, and it was around then that they noticed the space around them had filled with a soft glow. A short way along, they ran into a Squitten -- their fur glowing softly and sparkling like gems! They offered to accompany them on the rest of their expedition.


Freckles had to watch their steps closely as the made their way down the steeper of the two tunnels; the path ahead almost like a sheer drop in places. But, with careful steps, they eventually made their way to the bottom and were rewarded with a sparkling cluster of gems! Now it was just a matter of getting back up.
