Well, we wish you luck!" with that, the happy couple skated along their way. Feeling quite exhausted -despite having done nothing, you decided to have a quick rest. Skating to the side of the pool you took off your skates and began plodding through the snow, imprinting the fluffy ground with your curious footprints. Something dropped by your paws and you turned it around to find something inscribed on it.
Dear participant,
I hope this letter finds you well and having fun. It's such a pity I'm always working, I'd love to explore like you some day~ Why don't you tell me what happened to you so far? I'd love to hear the wonderful adventure you had! It'll keep me awake as I go through mountains of paperwork~ Feel free to write your 'adventure' on the back of this parchment and hand it back to one of the warriors you see~ thanks!
Sincerely,
The Queen
Crimson Holly wrote:Food flew everywhere and the cafeteria was soon stained with colorful splats from all the food that's been used as a projectile. Few times you were hit with food in the face (luckily most food were soft except for that uncooked potato someone threw) but you seem to return the favor three times over. And it wasn't long before your side -though you could barely discern one side from another- won and you were released from your task safe and sound, albeit a bit dirtier than expected. As you exited from the dirty cafeteria you bumped into a Faerre and they gave you a once over before giving in to an exasperated sigh. "Another food fight? I swear these Faerres can't eat decently without causing chaos." the female glared at you. Hey! It's not your fault! You swear on all your little toes! You're just a victim -a happy victim! "No need to guess, you probably joined in making a mess of the cafeteria." the lady clicked her tongue. "Well then, why don't you go and write an apology letter then? Yes. An apology letter on how sorry you are for partaking in several Faerre's stupid ideas and making a mess of the cafeteria. Do you know how long it takes to clean those walls?" the Faerre huffed, tail twitching with irritation. "Give that letter to one of the passing Faerres and tell them to give them to the one in charge of cleaning up YOUR mess." With that, the Faerre turned tail and left, muttering and grumbling under her breath about ignorant fools and not being appreciated for her hard work.
Wolf Shadowstalker wrote:You squeezed into the steaming room, glad that you won't have to wait for the room to heat to thaw your tail and frozen digits. The room was dimly lit like most saunas but this room felt eerily stuffy. Perhaps it was the steam… You heard coughing and you turned around to find a Faerre that had already occupied a spot on a bench. "Nice of you to come in. Was getting lonely yes." the Faerre chuckled deeply. "This a nice place ah? Yes, I think so too. I come here ever so often and leave with all my fur all primped up and nice, hmmm~" the Faerre hummed with wistful expression on his lined face. "New here to the hot springs young one? No? Well~ what do you think of this place? Why don't you tell me of your experiences and knowledge of hot springs? I know they're super relaxing but I never really researched about them… Can you share some facts about hot springs to this old Faerre?"

"Hmmm~" the voice hummed, considering your words. "The Altar… I wonder how much has changed…" was the creature sad? Did you perhaps feel pity for the creature that was locked in here for god-knows-how-long? Another painful slither across your body banished all sympathetic thoughts from your mind. Before you could comprehend what happened next, you were suddenly thrown through a mysterious door and into another surrounding, the darkness ebbing away from your vision as the creature hurled you into another portal. Crawling up from your twisted position, you stood up to find several ugly creatures snarling at you, surrounding you. The creatures were pathetically small, snapping their warped jaws at you and howling. They seem to ooze… substance from their sides and their eyes were glazed over. Reacting almost immediately you turned as something shifted to your side, one little monster leaping straight at you.
Sarill wrote: This stuff stinks and it clings onto your beautiful fur like… EUCK! Your thoughts wandering, you wondered how long it'll take for you to wash off the goop from your fur and how much more to wash the stench off. Sighing you continued on your way, your nose slowly getting used to the stench that surrounds you. "YUCK! WHAT'S THAT STENCH." that would probably be you. You turned around, too tired to be scared out of your wits and too fed up to care you faced a Faerre. The Faerre was carrying a broom and wearing a broken hat and he seem to squint at you as if he couldn't decide if he should swat you with his broom or ignore your presence. "You ghosts really have a weird sense of scenting yourself." The Faerre croaked as he clucked his tongue thoughtfully, brushing the dried leaves. Wait. Was he addressing you? Wait. He saw ghosts? He's TALKING to ghosts? There're GHOSTS HERE?! Feeling fear creeping back to you, you decided to keep quiet and let the old Faerre assume what he must assume. "Are ye the one who made a mess of the graves? Naughty thing. Always making more work for me. Should really learn to be like the others, they more timid and give me less grief. Phew you stink!" You frowned, it was not your fault that you 'stink', you didn't stink until a few moments ago! "Well, you probably won't leave until I give you something to do." Actually you're more than willing to leave but you didn't say that to the old Faerre. "Why don't you tell me how long it's been since The Queen has lifted the barriers? A wittle math will do you some good! Not that you'll need it in your state." the old man chuckled.
Kale_dragon_keeper wrote:The Faerre beamed you a smile of approval before relaxing into a peculiar stance. "I would be content to lose as long as I get a fair fight." The Faerre twitched lightly, minute movement that would've been missed if one hadn't already have their eyes trained on the small body. "Please do not hold back. It would displease me so." With a flash, the Faerre disappeared from his spot with a speed un-matching of his stature. Who knew one so small had to potential to be so silent and fast? Turning around just in time, you saw petite paws headed straight for you...
Raindrop wrote:The young Faerre unrolled the scroll, eyeing it's contents with an amused and amazed expression. "Wow! So this is how it works! Thanks a lot mister!" the little Faerre grinned, grabbing your parchment and skipping away. Glad to be free on your way you continued down the slippery planks, admiring the sea-side view. You came across another fork in your path and you wondered which way you should visit first, even though each path seem to wind up in the same place at the very end…
Should you take the right path or the left?

You're positive you got everything right, and even if you didn't you're definitely not going to rewrite it for this snob. The Faerre sniffed, an indignant sound befitting of one like him. "So you CAN do something right after all." You forced on a smile, letting his insult graze you as you held back from stuffing your hard work down his throat. "Well, since I'm done now, I suppose I have no reason to linger any longer with-" the Faerre's eyes grazed over you with- was that disgust in his eyes? "creatures like you." With a haughty huff (you swear the next time you see him, you'll knock his glasses into his face permanently) the nerd Faerre left. Glaring at his retreating back you decided to leave this section of the library alone as well, seeing as this place didn't leave much of a 'good' impression on you. You went back to the directory and took another long look. Where to next?
Children's section or Romance section?
