Remember my little fawns that no matter who wins... i will still steal all your beautiful poetry >:D
seriously, why can't poems like yours come out of my hands! I deffinately feel for Concept. She has a tough call to make for the winner. Also lola i never thought about peace and hate, or maurader with a silver bell. I dont have that much creativity when it comes to ideas. I just thought of holly in the snow, silly o'le me not thinking outside the box.
man, teenagers are weird.

[hahaha lol, I like the silver bell idea too :3 Well, I had poetry envy too, mine felt so short and I loved the meaning behind yours <3]

Yes the silver bells idea was brilliant! And very original…/blushes/ You guys are far to kind, my poem, while it may have been long was lacking significantly in “flow” and its all choppy and scattered and its only a freakin a-b rhyming scheme… I need to work on other rhyming scheme types… Oh well, I’m glad you guys liked it.

The Maurader's Map wrote:((Thats a good way to think of it, peace and hate, and sharks. I thought of a little silver bell. I dont have a CLUE why.))

Silver Bells make sense though… it actually follows the theme of Christmas! I don’t know where my mind was with my poem… And I luffs your poem to… it has a certain “ring” to it ^^ and its very cheery! (By the way thanks to you now I have the song “silver bells stuck in my head.)

{Ahh, no ones awesome poems will be safe! Haha!! Really Kennet don’t get me started on your poem… There is nothing about it that deserves anything but praise! It was so creative!! And I loved how throughout the poem you kind of left the reader with enough to keep them reading but don’t fully tell them what your talking about till the last line. It was genius! }
{Ok slightly off topic but on topic still who are your guy's favourite poets??}
instead of spamming I made this instead to talk about poets: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=916347&p=23703218#p23703218 /end of spam/ :oops:

I've read through everyone's posts and I must say that you are really good at this, such wonderful poems and rhymes! ;3;

This time, however, the winner of the doe is kizzy42, congratulations!

And here's a new deer for you, designed by Concept!
You have 24 hours to write something for her. :3

We were known as peppermints
Each of our coats a unique print
Perhaps many called us Mint
We are often called nerds
But we remain a herd
We were once told by a little bird
Such a soft little word
That plots were coming about against us
Sure enough our forest was attacked by humans who came upon a bus
One conered me
Such a young girl was she
Only a small teen
Her face showed a screen of sympathy
She took me
and i found she was kind
and she binded
me to her not with ropes but love
and peace washed over me like a gentle dove.
Won't waste more tears on yesteryears

Numbing winds, of winter breeze
They flutter 'round me
Like unresting butterflies of blue and red

She bounces along
With light tread
Her cloven hooves with moves so lithe
Amongst the flurry of white and snow
Her pelt stands out
A tangle of red and blue ribbons
She is the spirit of winter.

(Seriously, I have no idea what this poem is all about, really. It just sounded really right in my head, but when I typed it out, it turned out to be...Weird. xD

I have no idea how to make poems rhyme. At all.)

Like candycanes and sweet mints, like hearts of love and full of bliss. Gentle waves of red and blue cascade over a doe so true. Like war and peace a timid dove on the breeze, hidden in a forrest of ivory. Like the winds whipping the fur of a heart so kind, the eyes soften at he sight like dancing hooves in the snow like footprints on a path of life time goes by and by.

You guys probably don't know this, but I just adore poetry! I'm loving everything you all wrote. It reminds me of a book I have, a collection of winter poems that I've treasured for over ten years <33 That's the best kind of stuff to be reminded of this holiday season!

And wow, such creative ideas! I'm really glad I went abstract with this doe. You guys let your imaginations just run with it <3

Today, though, I'd say Kennet pulled ahead! The holly idea was really cool :3 And here's the code for your new doe!

Congrats Kennet! I loved your poem! For some reason it reminded me of Shakespear! X3

Shakespeare? wow, thats a compliment if i've ever had one.
Thanks guys I'm glad you liked it, it was fun to write.

EDIT: also if you would like to or were thinking about breeding your deer, just PM me with the deer gender, colorations, and what you want in a partner for them (pattern/color wise) because i was thinking of putting together kind of a 'bachelor's list' of all the avalible deer for breeding. So anyone could contact me and say "hey Kennet i would like to breed my doe. What bucks are avalible?" then you could contact the buck owner and so forth. Anyway just an idea, so PM me if your interested for when Paper opens breeding. o3o
